Civic - Honda :: 2009 - Key Fob Not Working / All Door Open While Clicking Unlock Button?

I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Civic EX. I also have a 2012 Honda CRV, and I'd like to set the key fob/car behavior like the CRV, in that when I click the unlock button, all doors open, instead of the 'classic' behavior one click drivers-side, two clicks both sides - is there a way to set this up ?
Also, I used to have a 2005 Honda Accord, and it had a neat option/behavior - hold down the unlock button after unlocking the car, and the driver and passenger side windows go down - pretty handy when you've parked the car during a hot day - can program that into the key fob/car ?

My 2000 honha civic door will not open. the remote will unlock all doors except driver door which makes a noise like its trying to open but will only barely move the nub. When you touch the handle the lock goes back down. I've tried to open with key and tried from inside to open it with no luck. I partially removed inside panel to gain access, but could only pull the levers and not really do anything to the lock itself, I just can reach it. I'm considering cutting a hole from the outside to gain access to the lock, but once i do not sure what's next. what should i look for on the lock to get it to release the door latch?

We have a Honda Civic 2009 two door. You can only put a key in the driver's side door or use that clicker to open it. About two weeks ago we could no longer open the door due to the key only going in halfway. If the door is locked only the clicker can be used. so if the battery goes on that and the door is locked, well, that is not good. My spouse took the car to the Honda dealership and they wanted to replace the whole lock system. Of course the car just went over 36,000 miles so the warranty is out. My aunt said to just try lubricant in the lock.

This is a 2009 honda civic lx... AC not working but the button lights go on.... but when I turn the ac or heater on no air comes out, no noise. just complete silence. What might be going on?

My son's 2007 Honda Civic coupe hood won't open. There's no resistance when pulling the hood release. Either the cable is broken or disconnected from the latch.

We've got a 2006 Civic EX Coupe, and the power windows and power door locks have both stopped working. If I can remember correctly, they kind of faded out over the course of a few weeks, working intermittently then not working at all.
All window and door lock fuses (interior and under the hood) are still good.
What this could be? Is it something DIY fixable? I've removed door panels for random stuff, but haven't really done much with power window electronics.

Prius sat in my garage for about a month without moving went to start it up had 0 power, the unlock button on the keys wouldn't even open the doors. So I tried to jump start the car which would kind of work. The car would turn on for a few secs maybe 5 sec then turn right back off. So had the battery tested and came back as bad battery.

So, I was about to go get something in the garage yesterday and the car didn't open. I know one of the fobs has a bad battery. Well I got new batteries and replaced them in both fobs.
Red light blinks can't unlock when clicking the unlock button nor does the smart function work. I get the little key out and open the drivers seat and think Shouldn't there be some lights on in here like around the power button? or blinking?
Usually when you unlock with the little key should you be able to turn lights on inside the car?

When I hit the unlock button on my key fob or inside the car the one door just doesn't want to unlock.. I have had someone tell me before that i can unhook my battery for 15mins then do something else.. I can't remember what they said.

Parked my car in freezing temperatures overnight and noticed the door handle's unlock button is frozen and does not work. Was still frozen after my 45 minute drive to work. Try spraying it overnight with windshield washer to prevent freezing and ice damage?

Starting a few weeks ago, my drivers side door of my 2007 Camry doesn't unlock either with the keypad or by using the button within the car. Someone broke something off in the lock eons ago so now I'm just climbing over the passengers side which stinks. This isn't happening all the time, usually just when I'm in a rush But it's happening more frequently.

Lock/unlock button on door handle failed? Over the past couple of weeks mine has iced up a couple of times. I'm pretty sure water is getting behind the button and freezing. Now it seems like the button only works intermittently, and it definitely has a spongy feel to it when you press it. Off to the dealer I guess. Though if it's because of ice it's probably going to fail every year.....

Here is what is happening, if I press the unlock and lock button on remote or from any switch in the car , the front passenger door will not unlock! all of the doors will lock and unlock, except the front passenger dorr will not unlock only, it does lock,just not unlock, i think it may be a bad motor or actuator, I am sure it will be covered under the CPO warranty, especially since its only been less than 1 week since i had it.

Hit the button and you can hear it unlock, pull the handle and nothing. All other doors open fine, just the main I like to use for time to time......you know to get in.

I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra. 2 days ago I went to put my daughter in the car, and the rear passenger side door wouldn't open. I climbed in from the other side and tried to manually unlock the door, and it literally would not unlock. All the other doors unlock and open both automatically and manually. I am getting ready to tackle a few projects on the new X. First I would like to fix the door locks. passenger side front, it makes a noise when i hit the lock/unlock button, but doesn't move. Hoping it is the actuator but wanted to make sure first. Is the actuator the first culprit to fix? I guess, How do i know it is the actuator? Wanna order them from rockauto soon. Neither key fob will work (yes batteries are good). We use both keys everyday, but I sent my daughter to store and she calls me and says the key won't open the door using the Fob or manually. I bring her my key and I can't get in the car either. When you press any button on either Fob absolutely nothing happens except the lil red light on the Fob blinks.
When using the key manually turning to the left does nothing, turning to the right causes a click that you can hear and feel but the door is still locked. Nothing has changed. The only thing different that she did was when she got out she hit the lock button on the door instead of using the Fob once she was out. ( she's not use to using Fob because her 93 SC400 Fobs don't work). So what happened here, what broke? Or did somehow she activate some Anti-Theft system or something? What do I need to do?

I have my doors set to unlock when I open the driver door. sometimes they do not unlock, there is no rhyme or reason for it, just it gets a wild hair and they don't unlock, drive to the next location and it works as advertised.
