A parking garage backed my 2012 Yukon XL into a cement wall. The trailer hitch is pushed back from its original position at least 3-4 inches. I took it to a dealership today and they said the frame is bent, but they could repair it.

I found ZERO posts about installing a Curt 11276 hitch on a 2015 PIP. Or installing ANY OTHER hitch on a 2015 PIP.
Same applies to adding wiring for towing a trailer behind a 2015 PIP.
My wife backed the truck into a pole and bent the driver's side bumper and one of the ears on the trailer hitch (the part that bolts to the frame). I bought all the parts that need to be replaced (the left bumper end, the hitch itself, and the plastic bumper cover), gut am hesitant to try to change it all myself. How hard is it to change out all these parts? Is there a write-up any where out there for this?
View 2 RepliesOk I let My friends use my passat wagon to move afew things and when he brought it back my wipers where stuck in the upright position when the car is driving, on or off. When I hit the wiper switch they move slightly to the left before going back down and working as they are suppose to. But the second I turn them off they will go to the upright position and even if the car is turned off with them down, the second you start or turn the car on they will move to the upright position and stay that way. So it seems like this is their new resting place. My question is, how do I get them back to their original resting place down where they are suppose to be.

View 2 RepliesI got the JoeZ PTS axle back exhaust for 2014 IS350 and so happy with it. Last week, another dude hit me from behind and the right exhaust pushed back, not center aligned with the lower bumper anymore.
Is there any way that I can straighten it back again or have to get the new exhaust. The car is still drivable but sometimes I heard weird noises, not from the exhaust it self but probably from the connection to the mid pipe.
Started losing pressure on my clutch pedal yesterday. When I would push in the clutch pedal it would not push back up to the reset position. It would only come back up half the way. Now today I have a steady ABS light and ASR light on. Checked for fault codes and found no trouble code. Checked brake fluid resevoir for leaks; still has plenty of fluid. Checked slave cylinder bleeder valve for leaks and looks dry. The only thing I think it could be is the clutch master cylinder. If I drive the car for a few minutes I am able to build pressure back up in the clutch, however the ABS light and ASR light still remain while driving. Turning the car off and back on again shuts off the light for a few minutes until I start driving, but the clutch pressure starts back low again.
View 3 RepliesI have a code that just started popping up on my 2000 Yukon XL2500 with 93K. I know I have a spot on the side of the Muffler that was rotted out and patched by the previous owner. My question is would an exhaust leak that far back in the system throw off the O2 Sensor?

Mechanic #1 says the control arm needs to be replaced.
Mechanic #2 says the strut needs to be replaced. No comment on control arm.
Could it be both? Or neither?
I got into our car (2013 RX 450h) and the seat was completely pushed back. I had been the last (and only ) driver of our car and had not adjusted the seat. I managed to reach the brake pedal, started the car, pushed the L1 seating position and my seat re-adjusted. I then put the car into Drive and when I stepped on the accelerator, it would not move.
The parking brake was not on, there was nothing obstructing the car. I turned it off, turned it on again and it was then fine. I had last driven it 3 days prior, the battery was fine, the outside temperature was registered as 30 degrees, so not excessively cold. We park in a garage although it is not entirely closed off from the outside air.
Experienced this with the car no moving despite being in drive and stepping on accelerator?
My trailers lights aren't working at all- so frustrated right now!! I've checked all the fuses and those are good, I've got no power back to the 7 pin connector...
View 9 RepliesWas moving a boat on a trailer with surge brakes and found I could not back it up. Found that I had no power on the center pin on the round 7 seven trailer connector.
When backing this type of trailer the back up light power opens a solenoid that keeps the brakes from working in reverse. Don't know how long its been like this because this is the first time I moved this trailer. The question is where is the fuse and or relay for this. The back up lights on the truck do work.

I folded my back seat down, now it will not lock into the up position! I inspected the locking mechanism and it doesn't appear to have anything wedge in there.

I would prefer to leave the back seats in reclined position permanently but I find that they go back to erect position often (I didn't particularly test this function). What is the function of the C and M buttons?
Just when I thought I understood how to use all the controls on the 2006 V8 Phaeton I got two weeks ago, the steering wheel has thrown me a curve.
I have pressed the button on the column that makes the wheel move back when I turn off the car so its easier to get out, then it moves back to the set position when I start the car again. But for some reason, it moves back, but no longer moves forward to the set position when I start the car again. Have I done something by accident to change this function?
I have a 2012 2-door R with sunroof and navigation. Almost from the very beginning the driver's seat had a problem. It would not hold the position of the back. It would slowly keep going back. Over a couple of days of driving (less than 2 hours per day) I would have to adjust the back about a 1/4 turn of the wheel to get it back to the original position. I have taken it back to the dealer twice for this and they could not find anything obvious.
They said that they would need to take the seat apart in order to figure it out. According to them I am the first one with this issue they have heard of. I am debating if I should keep adjusting it every couple of days, or take the chance and let them take it apart, hoping that there will be no collateral damage in the process. How easy/difficult it is to get to the guts of the seat?
The other day, I had the wipers going, every time when they went back down to the "rest" position, they made this weird movement with loud noises, JUST want to make sure that it is normal, seeking some feedback before going to the dealer.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2000 Regular Cab Work Truck with non power split bench seat. The passenger side back will not hook in the up position.
Before diving into it. Is the mechanism broken or is it something I can fix if I tear it apart? There is nothing stuck under or behind that I can tell.
My wife's 2001 Gran Prix has a problem with the ignition switch, or related to the ignition switch. Intermittently (more frequently in warm weather or when the car's warm) the ignition switch can't be turned back to the 'off' position all the way, meaning the key can't be removed from the switch. We've heard from several mechanics that there are a couple problems that can cause this, and in fact had the ignition switch replaced which did not solve the problem. I understand there is a connection to the transmission or gear shift lever that may also be part of this problem in some way. There can only be so many solenoids, switches, connections, etc, related to this, I'd like to fix the problem and avoid spending money unnecessarily.
View 2 RepliesDoes the memory seat function remembers the back position (angle)? Or does it just remember the height and forward/backward position of the seat? The back angle position is not remembered in my 2014 Avalon Limited but I am not sure whether I should report this as a problem or whether that is just the design.
