I have a 2005 Yukon Denali XL. The low beam headlight on the driver's side will not work. I replaced the bulb. Still won't come on. We had just driven the truck up the Dalton highway (The rough road seen on Ice Road Truckers).The passenger side low beam works fine, and all the other lights work fine.
View 1 RepliesAs the says I have a 1999 Yukon Denali that the Rear Brake and Turn signal on Drivers side are not working. Also brake light on trailer DOES work but not the turn signal on that side.
I tested the Tail light circuit by plugging it into the passenger side and it works so that rules out that. What wires to test under the dash to test the combo / multi switch?
Also the tail lights or park light do work (both top and middle bulb lights up when the vehicle is running) its just brighter filament does not light up when breaks are pressed or turn signal is on.
i have a 2005 prius got it 2 years ago when it hade 120,000 miles now has 211,000 runs good but last week on my driver side the tail light and low beam light stopped working at the same time the high beam works fine what could it be?
View 19 Replies2004 Denali XL with 78,800 miles. I've had it since July '12, and when I changed the oil immediately after buying it (74,700 miles) it was low and filthy. All the fluids were checked/topped, and I had to rebuild the front drive diff and replace a cracked axle tube shortly thereafter.
Everything has been fine since, except for some coolant spewing out mysteriously every once in a while and slightly more than a qt of ATF just disappearing about a week or two ago.
It was shifting a little jerky so I checked the fluid and found it just barely on the stick. Quite a surprise since I check it every month or so, and I've never seen a drop on the ground.
Should I flush or do the standard filter and partial change? The fluid is pink and clean looking at this time.
Drivers side low beam not working. The bulb is fine saying something was tapped in, therefore, can't warranty headlight. Guy said the light gets power just light won't work. Can Vagcom fix this? Dealer wants $125 for inspection plus another $676 for parts and labor.
View 19 RepliesI recently purchased a 2002 Yukon Denali. I've noticed a whining sound from the front end when I'm at a steady speed. When I take my foot off the pedal, the sound stops. I had it in the dealership and they first thought it was the front drive shaft and replaced it. That didn't work at all, so they then told me it was due to the all wheel drive. What is causing this?
View 12 RepliesOk I have a 2001 Denali AWD 6.0, and when I accelerate it makes a whining noise as if it were low on power steering fluid, well I just replaced the power steering pump today and the ring and pinion with bearings about 1000 miles ago. Still whining, the shop today said it could be transferred case but I doubt that because I had it inspected when the ring and pinion was replaced.

View 6 RepliesI have a whirling or spinning noise coming from front differential at speeds above 30 mph. The noise stops when I release the accelerator? From what I read maybe the bearings.
View 2 RepliesI have an '02 XL Denali 1500. The spare tire carrier was broken (cable had snapped) prior to me buying it. As best I can find, the part number for it is: 15026912. I'm curious if any of the newer designs (such as part# 25974845) would fit. 2 reasons I'm asking,
1) the newer ones supposedly keep the tire from falling on the road if the cable were to break, and
2) they're cheaper than the original part number.
Living where road salt snacks on vehicles for 6 or 7 months out of the year has yielded no luck in finding a functional one by checking with the local salvage yards.
Right now the spare sits in the back, which is fine most of the time, but it takes up a good amount of space when packing for trips.
My driver side low beam is not working. I checked the bulb and it's fine. I also checked the fuse and it's fine. Took it to the dealer and they said could be a few hours of labour to determine where the problem is in the wiring.
View 8 RepliesI have a 2005 Toyota Echo that has just recently developed a problem with the driver side low beam headlamp. When I hit the light with my hand then it comes to normal but when I switch off the car engine and restart then again no lowbeam lights.
I thought one of my bulbs had burned out and when check the bulb so I found a small piece broken in bulb glass so I replace it with new one and then.
The one working was went off and the one bulb replace start working then I took off both bulb and swap with each other and now..
When the lights are on low-beam the bulbs barely light and if I switch to high-beam only driver side works and passenger side no low/high beam.
Both parking and turn-signal works perfectly However. Somebody suggested that the ground wire of headlight could be damage/faulty.
Troubleshooting a headlight problem on a 2004 V8 Touareg. Driver's side xenon low beam flickered rapidly and then quit working. I replaced xenon bulb with OEM part, still not working. Swapped in known good bulb from passenger's side, still not working. Took to dealership, who said it needed new ballast, which dealer would be happy to install for a mere $900 in parts and labor. Declined dealer's offer, ordered new replacement OEM ballast (from Chrysler dealer for several hundred less than VW), installed new ballast, still not working. Cleared all fault codes using VAG-COM, still not working. Swapped in known good ballast from passenger's side headlight, still not working. Auto-leveling is still working in both lights. So...not the bulb, not the ballast. Wiring harness, perhaps?

I purchased Sylvania H7 high intensity, installed it and it failed to work properly. Daytime light on only drivers side works.
High Beam on , both lights works.
I checked my manual and it said to check fuse in the 5 slot on the driver side dash/door panel and there actually is no fuse in there. I checked the driver side and there was no fuse there either.
I replaced my driver side bulb last year and it took 5 mins....i am already 4 hours into this!
Set on 72 both sides, passenger cold, driver side hot ... 2007 Yukon Heat and Air on together ....
View 9 RepliesMy drivers front signal does not work. its not the bulb. took headlight assembly out and then the passanger side did not work and the drivers side did. check passenger side. now it switched again. now drivers side is out and passenger side works. both parking lights work fine. no clue what's going on
View 2 RepliesMy driver side power window on my '05 Honda Pilot is not working. Checked all fuses and none are blown. At first I thought it may be the window regulator/motor. I got an new aftermarket regulator/motor set and connected it to the 6-pin control and power cable to test it prior to installation. It did move when I hit the switch. BUT the power window control unit (magic black box in driver side door) clicked when I try to use the failed driver side window. I understand that this control unit also controls the other windows and they all work just fine AND the control unit does NOT click when I lower/raise those other windows. Do I have a bad power window control unit? Is it suppose to click when I lower the driver side window (and not click with other windows)? Could it be something else? I did check the output voltage to the driver window regulator and it did not have the required 12 V to run the motor when switch is activated.

View 7 RepliesI have a strange problem. My driver side low beam dont work and my right side high beam dont work. Try different relay (switching), check fuse, bulb etc. Also in my dashboard the right green arrow for the flasher always still on(solid).
If I activate (with the control arm) the right turn flasher the flasher light blink in the dash board and my outside flasher bulb flash but my left high beam also blinking in the same time!
My 2006 Prius (Model NHW20) has a strange headlight problem. On the passenger side, the high beam light is out but the regular headlight works.
On the driver side, the high beam is working but the regular headlight is out.
I don't think it's the fuses but I'm not sure. No amount of interchanging the following fuses changes anything about the issue:
1. 10A H-LP HI RH
2. 10A H-LP HI LH
3. 15A H-LP LO RH
4. 15A H-LP LO LH
My driver side power window on my '05 super crew f150 has stopped working. It rolled down maybe 3-4 inches or so and the stopped working and now will not go up or down. All of the other windows/locks/mirrors on the main switch work so I'm not sure if I should start with replacing the motor or try the switch first.
