Grand AM :: 97 - Low Pressure AC / Hose Leaking

The A/C low pressure hose is leaking right by the fan. Is there any way to repair it without replacing the entire hose? The leak is toward the middle of the hose, so there is plenty of room to install some sort of insert. I don't know what would be the best type of insert such as: Brass, Steel, Plastic or Aluminum.

Passat (B5) :: Coolant Leak From Hose?

I think that it is coming from the hose that connects right to the reservoir. I have wiped it clean a few times and it always seems to be seeping from that area under the hose where it connects to the bung. I replaced the OE hose clamp with a new one and put some electrical tape around the hose but it still leaks. It does make a slight hissing sound from the area as well when I pop the hood after a long ride, but only lets off a few drips. My guess is that I may have to replace that entire hose but that looks involved as it is attached to several others.

Suburban :: 97 - Only Front AC Gets Cold After Hose Replacement

My problem is that I had to replace the hose to and from the compressor, it had a bad Schroeder valve and was leaking. Now only the front A/C gets cold, and I am wondering if there are 2 orifices, one in each line. I have only found one in the front A/C, and the parts store said there was only one.

Passat (B6) :: PVC Hose Busting Due To Increased Boost

I am playing with the idea of having my 2006 2.0t chipped. A Stage 1 is all I want, but I am concerned about the PVC hose busting due to increased boost.

I heard that later 2.0t's have improved PVC hoses. Mine is an 2006, but it is a late 2006 (build date 03/06). When did the improved PVC hoses get installed on the 2.0t's?

Elantra MD (2010-15) :: Water Leaking From Hose?

A couple weeks ago I had my first oil change - not at the dealer - but at a place I've gone a hundred times. After I noticed every day a puddle, not a couple drops but a puddle going down my driveway or wherever I parked of water.

I thought for a few days it was condensation off the engine, or the AC, since it was very hot. Except I don't use the AC much & wasn't using it when the water was leaking. I looked under the car & there is a hose hanging from the back of the engine area & dripping water.

I've honestly never looked under the car & noticed the hose & it's only hanging about an inch - so I'm not sure I've just never noticed... But until the oil change there was never a noticeable water leak..

Santa FE SM (2001-06) :: No Pressure In Radiator Hose

I've noticed that my radiator hose doesn't have any pressure anymore, even after a long drive you can squeeze it nearly together, it is still hot like normal and the heater puts out hot air, the temperature gauge sits between half way between 1/4 and 1/2, would this be the radiator it's self, the thermostat or the water pump that may need replacing, there is no leaks that I can find or see...

Accent MC (2006-11) :: Radiator Hose Replacement?

There were some minor coolant leakage from the upper hose radiator so I have it replaced. Took me 2 hours because the thermostat housing hose neck gunk up with white lime.

Everything works fine but the car still suffering from minor coolant lost. Found some water stain over the bypass hose neck so I get it replaced too. Took me another 2 hours to get it fix because of the white gunk buildup. Secured everything including the hose and the clamps. Minor water stain still can be found at the bypass hose neck.

Replacing the radiator hose? Does it takes few days for the new radiator hose to fit 100%?

Santa Fe (CM - 2007-12) :: Coolant Leak At Hose End

I have noticed my 2007 SF V6's coolant is reducing at reservoir. I added premix coolant about 1 liter a month ago. Today I saw my driveway was wet, and this hose end was leaking.

I turned the spring clamp about 90 degree. but it's still dropping like 1 drop per 1 minute or so. Is this common issue? and how can I fix this?

Should I change the black hose? or change the same new spring clamp or change the spring clamp to a wider screw clamp?

Also, when detach the hose end, some amount of coolant will come out then, just adding premix coolant into reservoir for the max level is good enough? or do I have to bleed radiator airs?

Golf IV R32 :: How To Replace Secondary Radiator Hose

Realized I was leaking coolant from the front passenger wheel well and bumper area. If I fill up the expansion tank it'll almost empty in about 2 days of sitting. Took to the stealership for a quick diagnostic and they said my Intercooler...(Auxilary Radiator) was leaking at the hose connections and will need to be replaced as well as the hose. I can't find a good DIY on this at all and I'm not sure which hose is connected to the Aux Radiator. So I'm wondering which hose connects to the Aux Radiator? Is there anything else I should replace or look for while I'm at it? Which hoses connect to this Second Radiator?
