View 7 RepliesI've read that a few of you have disconnected this; So which fuse or wire do I pull ? Looks like it would just be a wire, as I don't see a specific fuse for this.
View 5 RepliesIs there a way to program the seatbelt chime to not come on? I know you could do this on a first gen Touareg. Is it the same program?

View 3 RepliesEvery time I start my 1999 Ford Explorer It makes a loud beeping noise similar to seatbelt warning sound. Every 30 minutes or so it does it again as long as the vehicle stays running(even with all seatbelts fastened even if no one is sitting in the seat.
View 1 RepliesThis light went on after i was about 1/2 way though a tank of gas. After i refilled it the sensor went off. This occurred on and off for about 2 weeks. Now the light has stayed on for a few days, than turned off for a few hours. Well now its back on again, any issues with this sensor? I think its just the sensor and hope its not something major. It stays light the entire time and does not flash.
View 3 RepliesDo any of touaregs make weird sounds when turning.
View 3 RepliesMy seatbelt warning light and beeping comes on even after I've buckled up. Sometimes it's works fine at first and then will randomly come on while I'm driving. Other times it just doesn't recognize that I've buckled my seatbelt at all. I tried disabling the beeping as a temporary fix, but it didn't work, I'm assuming because it didn't recognize when I performed the necessary buckling up. Even if it did the blinking light would definitely bother me.
View 1 RepliesIs there a way to turn off the overzealous seatbelt alarm? It chimes constantly when the seatbelt isn't on, even when the car is in park. Sometimes I unbuckle my seatbelt to get my crap together before I get out of the car, but its hot here so I like to leave the AC running while get set. I know some cars have some obscure series of button presses to turn this off. Also is there a way to stop the horn from honking when I press the lock button on the remote?
View 3 RepliesIn December I purchased an 04 Touareg and LOVE the car(hate the tires but that's another discussion). I read an article on club touareg about a product VAG-COM that could disable the seatbelt chimes? How this is done, do I need to purchase something?
View 1 RepliesI have started to notice a crunching sound seams to be coming up thru the front wheels only when turning tight corners this seams to be related to outside wear to both front tyres.....
View 7 RepliesI've a 2008 Toyota Corolla ever since I bought it back in 2007. I don't have any problem with the seat belt warning before but recently for the past months the seat belt warning keeps beeping constantly, even when I'm wearing my seat belt. I fastened every belts in the car to make it stop but it just keep going. How to get it working properly?
View 1 RepliesI just bought a ceritifed pre-owned 2010 RX 450h. I love it, but a couple of questions as I get to know the car.
1) The rain sensor seems to not work. I set the wipers to what on another car would be "intermittent" but the wipers never come on. Am I missing something, am I a dummy? Or should I just get the dealer to replace the sensor?
2) Any way to turn off the seatbelt warning chime?
Got the Airbag lamp on, so I checked the fault codes, it says that the resistance o the driver side seatbelt tensioner is to high. Is this just a oxided connection, a bad wire, or should I be prepared to change the tensioner-assembly in full?
View 7 RepliesI laid the rear seat down and now the center seat belt is stuck. I cannot raise the seat due tot he tension on the belt. It sounds like the pretensioner maybe stuck. Is there a catch to release this belt?
View 4 Replies I just aquired a 2004 Touareg V10 TD. Two things:
How do I turn of the NAV Warning accept and the seat belt chime? I don't have easy access to a VAG-COM?? Will the dealer do it for me?
In the last week our Egg has begun to randomly decide to turn on a "parking light" on the passenger side of the vehicle when the car is turned off. This doesn't happen every time. But when it does, the amber light in the front and one in the cluster in the rear (both on the passenger side) turn on while the car is off. Also in the display in the instrument cluster you get "PARKING LIGHT SWITCHED ON" and a very loud warning sound.
I wasn't aware that our Egg's had a "parking light" feature and how to turn it on or off. More importantly I don't understand why this is coming on when it does. When it comes on, I can restart the car, turn it off and most times it turns off.
The warning light on the dash is on that shows the seatbelt and airbag. What does tis mean as the book only says to take it to a dealer.
View 2 RepliesMy TREG beeps every time we unbuckle the seatbelt in park. Is there anyway to change this? Sometimes you have to sit with the AC on because it is really, really hot. Or you undo your belt to reach back to the kids. Actually, it seems like it beeps every time I do anything. Open the door, lift wait off of the front passenger seat, etc... Any hack to the computer system that can fix this?
View 2 RepliesThree things happened with my Phaeton today.
First, when I pulled out of the driveway, there was an "achy" should as I turned the steering wheel. I sound like it coming from under the hood in the area of the steering mechanisms. I am hoping it just might be low power steering fluid?
Second, my engine warning light (amber) came on after going through a car wash. Everything seems to run fine, so I plan to just wait and see if it turns itself off again.
Last - and only as an irritation - I noted that my trip odometer on the front dash display won't reset when I go into the console "trip data" and press reset. Am I doing something wrong?
