OK, so I started the T and got the low tire pressure warning. I began to cycle through the MFI to see which tire was low and poof! I was in the convenience setup sub-menu. Now that's all I get. No other menus. I've tried everything I can and it seems to stay that way. been about a week now.
View 2 RepliesThe Tire Pressure Monitor is now missing off of my menu. I was trying to show a friend tonight and I clicked on it, the screen went black, then the menu came back up minus the TPM. What happened? I have restarted my car and even reset the MFI, but it doesn't work.
View 11 RepliesAll of a sudden my tire pressure light is on saying low tire. But they are fine of course so I go to check what is up and the tire pressure selection is missing from the menu. Sitting still of course. Tried everything short of hooking up the vag tool but figured it could not make it reappear ??

I have 04 Touareg with Tire pressure monitor and etc.
Yesterday I've got an ugly "running gear" stop fault and after reading the forums perform "close the doors and push for few seconds the lock suspension button" and the issue went away. Then I went to MFI and notice that the menu option "Tire pressure" disappeared from the menu list. I check the tire-pressure system it worked, but menu item still not there. How I can get the item back?
So my Tiguan's at the dealership getting the leaking sunroof repaired. I told them to unlock the convenience menu for me because the manager told me they could next time I came in....
View 24 RepliesHere in Boston it's 10 degrees out. Got the warning symbol for low tire pressure.
After I added Air to all 4 tires (47psi) on my 18" Conti's the warning went away, Until, I chose to select custom setting for tire pressure monitor. Since then the warning light has come back on and I can not get it to go away.
I finally got my Treg back from Montana today, on the drive back to WA, several times I get the message "tire pressure warning temporarily unavailable" or something along those lines.
Also, the VW shop in MT, only fixed the steering/suspension issues, they temp fixed the door so I could drive back to WA, I have an OffRoad Grey Treg with a purple mirror from some car, and a plexiglass window caulked in, hopefully it will go to the bodyshop tomorrow.
700 mile drive, 4 hours of which were through snow, the touareg was as surefooted as a mountain goat.
The Tire Pressure Warning went off every time I started the car. Checked pressure, no problems. I told the dealer, and he said that if you park next to another Treg, it can cause problems. I guess that the tire sensors are wireless and the interfere w/ each other.
View 4 RepliesMy tire pressure monitor is acting funky again in cold weather. For the past few days when the weather is around 30s i get flat tyre warning when i first start my car. then after drive for about 5 minutes, it goes away. Seems like once the tire warms up the warning disappeared.
I have standard 18" wheels... currently the tire reading from the MFI is 34 front 37 back. I remember i had them set in the summer for 37 front and 42 back. Should I put more air in? is that why?
Does the prius v TMPS shows you the pressure in each tire or just give you a warning when one of the tire is low. How many MPG do we gain if we over inflate the tire to the max possible.

The dashboard computer says that the tire pressure in the front right tire is 17 psi, but when I use the pressure gauge, the reading is almost 40 psi. Is this something I should be concerned about? What could be causing this problem?
View 16 RepliesA couple days ago my tire pressure warning came on. I checked the manual to see if there was a way for the MFD to tell you which tire is low. I couldn't find anything. Do I have to go around and check each tire for the proper pressure? If the car knows the pressure is low shouldn't it know which one? Also I'm wondering after only a couple months of ownership why my tire/s are low on air.

View 14 RepliesI had this warning come on a couple of days ago on my 2008 VR6 with 46k miles on it. I wasn't surprised since the temperatures have finally dropped in Wisconsin and the car has not been driven much in the last month. I checked all the tires and they were at 30 PSI so I pumped them all up to 35 PSI, but the warning won't clear. The last time this happened a ride around the block cleared the warning.
View 9 RepliesAbout a week ago my tire pressure light came on indicating that my tire pressures were low, I checked all 4 immediately and they were all around 35psi so I figured the light would correct itself after a little while. Fast forward a week it's still on, I tried clearing the code with vagcom, but it comes back immediately after it is cleared.
I'm assuming the warning threshold is bogus, how can I reset it?

View 7 RepliesLast night my tire pressure warning light came on. So this morning I checked them, and they are all above 37 psi, so might be a tad bit low, but nothing major. the manual also mentioned that light can come on if there is a sensor fault. Should I be concerned?
View 6 RepliesLast night after I got off of work I fired up the car and the Low Tire Pressure Warning light lit up accompanied by a chime sound. I checked the tires they were fine. I stopped by a gas station with bright lighting and the tires looked fine. I checked them again in the garage when I got home and they were fine. Why did this light come on? How do I turn it off? About 1400 miles on my R as of last night.
View 1 Replies2012 Golf TDI... No tpms? I just got back from a road trip and noticed I have a flat and most likely drove on it for an hour. I thought the car came with a tpms system. I checked the glove box and there is no reset button (which I read should be there if you have the new tpms system that works with the abs system). I have the Canadian Highline 2012 Golf. I read through the manual and didn't find anything about tpms. Does this come with the GTI only?
