Exactly how do you remove the cover (facia) below the front of the front seat so the battery can be removed. To my knowledge no one has spelled this out on this board.

Touareg :: Changing Battery - How To Remove Panel In Front Of The Seat
I just got a Touareg with no manual. I have it and the Bentley CD ordered. In the meantime I need to charge the battery and cant figure out how to remove panel in front of seat. It was dead for a few months in the cold weather and I want to double check to be sure it didn't freeze and bust the sides.
Also I'm not sure this vehicle had the PDI done yet. What to look for in regards to a battery disconnect switch in the seat area. Supposedly the dealer removes these as part of the pre delivery inspection.
One last thing, with a jumpbox attached can I turn the key to a "on" position without danger of engine cranking to get it out of park? I guess what I am asking is when you insert the key and turn it to the right, is there a position past 12:00 that cranks engine, and then springs back to 12:00 when you let go of the key?
I need to roll it around my shop, but don't want it to accidentally activate the starter.

I need to pull my front overhead console to make some changes, gonna try to mount my sirius cradle up there to get it out of the way. Can't figure out how it is fastened up there. Also, I need to pull the cover off the rear seat DVD player as I want to solder in some RCA's onto the aux in. Can't figure this one out either, and I'm afraid to break the cover.

I took the plastic cover in front of the radiator off to clean the radiator and condenser. It directs air through the condenser before it gets to the radiator and I was wondering if it would cool the engine without it (if you don't need real cold ac air) . Without it the air can go over the top of the condenser and it is still blocked by the flap that stops airflow above the radiator. Also, I am wondering if the fact that the condenser has nothing in it affects the radiator cooling, and is it bad for the AC system to be empty. (My AC doesn't work)

The footwell cover just below the steering wheel appears to have hinges at its bottom so I'm thinking the top merely snaps into place but I've found no literature referencing that. So I'm trying to remove the rear bumper cover on a '15, but it has been a royal pain. I went in thinking that the procedure would be similar to what it is on the '14, but it is way more involved. The biggest issue I'm having is removing the large plastic triangular side bracket. It has these weird T-nuts fastened to the body, which you cant remove, and the whole thing looks like it would need to slide upwards to get it off, but you wouldn't have enough room because the shape of the body just gets in the way.
