I don't use them much. Might not have used them since the truck was vag'd, they don't work,...fuse? Washer fluid low disables them )I don't know if it does, but I had a car that wouldn't let the headlamp washers run if the fluid was low).
View 5 RepliesWondering if my 2004 3.2 V6 FWD should have them and they are just off or not working or if they may not be fitted to my specific model. Can see no signs of them working when i use the windscreen wash/wipe. no water on the front of the car or wet patches on lights, etc.
View 13 RepliesNoticed in the last 3 days that my front windshield washers aren't working, but the rear one is. I figured that maybe the nozzles were just frozen up, but opened the hood tonight when I got home and shut the engine off but with the key in "Run" and tried the wiper switch....can't even hear the pump come on, but I can with the rear wiper.
Are there TWO pumps on the Accent hatchback? One for the rear wiper and one for the fronts? Is it possible one of my pumps is bad? I haven't checked the fuse...will do that in the morning, but I can't imagine it's a fuse as the front and rear washers would be on the same fuse I imagine...
I have a 2000 ex with the 05 front end. My headlight on the right side stopped working I have the high just no low. I replaced it and still no go. I suck at wiring so what to look for..
View 3 RepliesI have a 2004 Camry. A few months ago, the LH headlight stopped working. Thought it was the bulb, but wasn't. High beams work, DRLs work, socket good, contacts good. But, when I tap on the headlight cover, the low beam comes on, and stays on. What's going on here?

View 2 RepliesI have an 04 outback wagon with the right side headlight that has stopped working. I put a new bulb in but it still doesn't work. I tried swapping the fuse and the relay from the left side light but it still doesn't work. All the other lights on the car work. When I was poking around the connections with a meter the light flashed on/off a few times. Could this be a connection problem or something wrong with the rear headlight assembly?
View 1 RepliesMy driverside headlight randomly stopped working last night after i came out from a restaurant. the driverside was off the most of the ride home until it flickered on. now it randomly will only turn on for a split second then shut off.
i recently had my headlight / front bumper replaced and i was wondering what could cause this? normally if it was hid instead of led i would say its a weak ballast or so but i do not know how the LED headlights work. also the car is too new to have a weak ballast.
i do not believe its a fuse because the headlight will not turn on at all if it was a fuse. i also checked the box and all the fuses look intact.
I have a 2011 tiguan 2.0tdi 4motion, around 3 days ago the left headlight dipped beam stopped working, I replaced the bulb with no avail, the sidelights, and high beam work, just nothing on dipped beam, at first the warning lamp illuminated with the message on the screen, of check left dipped beam, I've checked and have no voltage going to the connection the bulb connects to, now the warming light and message have dissapeared but still no headlight. Where to locate the fuse for the headlight...
View 4 RepliesI have a 2000 Ex V10 with 170,000 miles and the passenger side headlight stopped working. I changed out the bulb and when that didn't fix it, I changed out the harness.
The driver side headlight works fine as well as all of the other lights. What to look at next.
Wipers/washers didn't work on 2003 f250. No blown fuses in system, supply fuses are 106 and 33, removed wipers and found no voltage on dk/grn wire of connector (fuse106). Turns out that the wire bundle had chafed a wire near the inner fender liner to the point that it cut the wire and broke the connection.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2006 Prius that I purchased with no upgrade on the headlights. There was an upgrade available for high intensity lights, but, I didn't get them. The low beam on the passenger side headlight just stopped working. Two questions:
1. I was just told by the Toyota dealership that to replace the headlight, the entire front end of the car would need to be dropped. They just told me that with them supplying the bulbs, the cost would be about $250 plus tax. If I supply the bulbs, only about $200 plus tax. My owners manual indicates that this is a do-it-yourself project. Is this true or is the dealership trying to make money off of me?
2. When I do replace the lights, I would like to put in something that would put out more light than what I have now. I have been told to be careful because many replacement lights throw off so much heat that the housing around the bulb could melt. Also, I have read that some of these replacement bulbs have a very short working lifetime of 1-2 years. Obviously, I would want to keep away from them.
I took my Touareg in for an oil change. When the tech lifted it up, he called me and pointed our a bushing on the lower control arm which was leaking oil or some fluid. I touched it and it seemed like oil of some sort. It was like black or something near that color. He told me that maybe it was some kind of a hydraulic bushing and the seal had gone bad. The oil was not coming from anywhere else, but the bottom of the bushing.
I took it in to service and the tech couldn't really explain where the oil was coming from, but told me that that bushing did not have any type of fluid in it. While I had the Touareg in, the air suspension compressor finally got replaced. I feel like I'm actually driving a luxury car now. It feels so much nicer! That immediately got rid of most of my cabin rattles. Boy, was my ride bad before. That was in "comfort". I can't begin to describe how horrible it was in sport.
They replaced the dual horn, because mine went bad. They also replaced the wood trim on the driver side door. They kept ordering the wrong color. My original Myrtle was almost chocolate in color. The ones that they get now are much lighter. Just about all my wood has now been changed. The only problem now is that for some reason or another, the headlight washer isn't working. I'm wondering if they disconnected a plug while working on the horn.
So, after about a year, I've finally got just about everything done. Now all I need are new tires and an alignment. Speaking of alignments, I've noticed that my Touareg is the only vehicle I've ever driven that will continue to drive in a circle with the wheels turned, even when you let go of the wheel... while going forward. In other words, if you turn the wheel enough and accelerate, the wheel will tend to turn further until it locks. Other cars will straighten out as soon as you release the wheel, if you are going forward (not in reverse). Ok, there are 3 questions on this post: The deal with the bushing, the deal with the headlight washer and the deal with the wheel that doesn't straighten itself out.
I just picked up my new Toureg today and on the way home from the dealership, the CD player prompted an "error" message, stopped working, and will nor eject. I go the upgraded sound system and I am very disappointed, to say the least.
View 1 RepliesLast week my keyless entry stopped working. The key-fob buttons still work but not the push buttons or open signal on any of the doors. Took car in for tire change yesterday and to check this problem. Dealer has checked all the modules, including power and found no problems. They are now working with VW tech support to see what to check next.
View 2 RepliesI put in keyless start about a year ago (best mod ever) and about three weeks my keyless access stopped working. Keyless start works fine. Supposedly I need something called a Kessey module. Is there any chance the two are related? Is the Kessey module the thing you put the extra wires into for the keyless start or is it an entirely separate module?

View 3 RepliesAsides from the myriad of other gremlins associated with our Tregs, my wife's has developed a problem in which the passenger side Xenon Head lamp stops working. When this occurs there is a corresponding warning on the MFI (which is stuck on warning because of the tire pressure module issue). If you turn the vehicle off, sometimes it resets and comes back on - other times it does not.

Our rain sensing wiper has been working flawlessly since new. However, it decided to stop working two days ago. It just goes constant speed now.
View 17 RepliesI have then 04 Touareg V8 and my keyless door entry has stopped working. The dealer wants me to just leave it and they will work on it. The remote button still works it's just as you walk up to the Toruareg that the doors do not unlock.
