9000 Miles latter: The driver side heated seat has given up the ghost. Also, the digital clock on the dash keep gaining time. VW says there is nothing wrong with the computer and they have thrown up there hands.
The clock has probably gained an hour in the last month. I know the car is German not Swiss but a digital clock should not do this and causes me concern that there might be other ECU issues.
The heated seat on the driver side does not work. I replaced the switch (near the center console) and checked the fuse, but it still doesn't work. The light on the switch comes on, but no heat.
View 4 RepliesPrius four with heated leather seats noticed especially on the drivers side seat bottom on the side bolster just as you slide in not the center section. I noticed it when new, it looks like a maybe wire between the leather and seat foam.
View 4 RepliesI have an '07 Saturn Relay. The drivers side heated seat has quit working, the passenger side works fine. When I turn the warmer switch on, the switch lights up but the seat never gets warm on the high or low mode of the switch. After a while the light on the switch goes off, it used to stay on all the time. What could be wrong and how can I check it?
View 3 RepliesThe drivers seat heat on my 2010 F-150 stopped working. The passengers side works fine. When I press the button on the dash, it lights for 2-3 seconds, then goes out. I have been looking around all weekend for a fix. I found many posts, but they are older and the equipment I'm seeing on my 2010 F-150 looks different. I found the wires coming from the heating pad. I was going to try and test for continuity but the wires have a plastic fitting and I can't get contact to the wires. I found a diagram on Foreparts.com showing that the heated seat control module is part # 14C724. I was able to locate on the passengers side, but not on the drivers side so I wasn't able to swap and see if that was the problem.

View 15 RepliesMy driver's seat heater won't shut off even though the I have it off. It is only the lower seat back that is on. So I have been sweating while driving around due to this. Is there any quick fix? pull a fuse? disconnect the heat underneath the seat?

When I slow down my car smoothly when driving, the transmission was not downshifted smoothly after 20K service.
Hazard triangle symbol on the edge of the drivers side rear seat facing the door. Noticed it yesterday when detailing the new gal. Thought maybe there was a first aid kit or triangle under the rear seat, but nothing. What it's there for??

I guess when she first got it the driver side worked and after her older brother drove it around a few days it stopped. Fuses look to be ok, and I looked under the seat and the harnesses are all connected.
View 5 RepliesI noticed the other day that my passenger side heated seat is partially not working. The seat back is heated, but not the seat bottom. The driver's seat works perfectly.
I did a test over a 10 minute time period with the car idling in the garage (door open) and the HVAC system off. I did not touch the seats during the test. I took all readings with a contact-less infrared thermometer. At the beginning of the test, each seat portion was at 14C (57F). At the end of 10 minutes, the Driver's seat bottom and back, and the passenger's back had heated up to 20-22C (68-72F), but the passenger seat bottom had cooled down to 10C (50F). This temperature was the ambient temperature outside with the garage door open.
I checked the fuse, which of course it would be alright as 3/4 of the system is working. I took a look under the defective seat, but with the amplifier there, I didnt have much room to maneuver my big hands. All of the wiring harnesses looked like they were in place.
On my 2004 Accent GL 1.3, the digital clock in the center facia panel seems to always reset itself. At first, I thought it was random, but now I notice that when it does cut out, I have just started to press the brake pedal. It doesn't cut out every time I brake, but it only cuts out when I brake. It comes back at its leisure, sometimes immediately after releasing the brake pedal, and other times much later, seemingly randomly.
The wire harness going into the digital clock has 4 contacts (2 of which have two wires each). I can find no mention of this wire harness in the Body Electrical manual on hmaservice.com, so I'm not sure where the wires come from. The wire harness itself looks fine.
I would imagine that the problem is caused by a short between the +12V (actually, I'm not sure how many volts) wire going to the digital clock and the braking circuit somewhere, but I don't know.
I've owned Acura's for 15 years total and now own my first Lexus. Loving it so far. Just bought a used 2013 GS350 luxury package with only 12,000 miles believe it or not. Spectacular condition. Loving it so far after 4 days!
Quick condition, is there a way to permanently display the digital clock somewhere on the nav screen or is the analog clock the only option? Not a big deal, but prefer digital clocks.
My digital clock on the dash runs fast. Every month it gains 2 to 3 minutes compared with my cell phone and I have to adjust it.
View 23 RepliesI have a 2007 Passat Wolfsburg. It has less than 3,000 miles on it. The clock keeps jumping forward one hour all by itself. If I don't touch it eventually after a few starts it will correct itself and go back an hour. The minutes never change. I called the dealer and they said they never heard of this, but I could bring it in. What was the cause?

Yesterday I got in my 2000 Rav4 and for no apparent reason the radio, digital clock, and the mirror adjuster didn't work. I checked all of the fuses and replaced one 15amp in the dash but it didn't fix the problem.

When I press the button to turn on the heated seats, the lights on the button turn on for about 1 second, and then turn off. The passenger side and back seats are all heating properly...just for some reason my driver's heated seats don't turn on. I stuck my hand under the seat and it feels like everything is connected. Any reason why the lights on the heated seat button turn on for about 1 second, and then turn off?
