Before some days I couldn't open sometimes the doors with the keyless access. I have to try two or three times till the key to be recocnized. I changed the batteries but the problem still remains. Now I cannot even start the engine I receive the message "Key Not Found" ... This could be a faulty antenna or the Kessy Module?

know where/how to access the Camry's antenna? I have looked in places where it is located in other models, but not luck.
I want to see if I can utilize it with a conversion kit or if I'm stuck with a dealer install.
I'm having a little bit of a problem with my keyless entry. The rear doors are not opening when i touch the handle, but they do lock. My dealer says that this is "normal" though I'm pretty confident that I have used the keyless entry to open the rear doors in the past. I'm not knocking on my dealer, as they've really been good about warranty issues (no questions asked), but i think my SA is misinformed.
View 15 RepliesWhen I open the doors on my touareg, the rear hatch does not unlock. When I try to program it as an option to open the rear hatch when I unlock the doors, it works for awhile. But, it always goes back to not opening. I recall a few months ago a similar question or post about a solution, like reprogramming something else first or at the same time.
View 23 RepliesBought my 06 Touareg V6 two weeks ago. Well the battery died and couldn't start 10 minutes after I got her home. So the battery was replaced with a new one and it has been fine since.
Well except for the fact that I have a Gray interior and the dealer put on the lower trim panels in front of the driver's seat from a anthracite colored interior!!
Around the trim that would be taken out to replace the battery. I would like to make sure all the parts are there when I get it fixed. [URL]......
Lost Navigation/GPS & Sirius radio services this weekend. Notice at bottom of screen says antenna error. So I ran diagnostics test and found the following Navigation System DTC (diagnostic trouble code): "B1A8913 Loss of SDARS antenna (open)"
Looked this up and found:
DTC Description: GPS antenna open circuit
Fault Condition: GPS Comms error
Haven't been able to find a specific reference to this being a problem with anyone else with same vehicle. However similar description from others typically resulted in a complete module replacement.
2008 F-250 Lariat with EATC climate controls... My truck suffers from the knocking/buzzing/clicking that is apparently associated with faulty blend door actuators. I have been putting off getting them replaced because of the hefty price tag associated with tearing apart the dash and whatnot that is required to get to the lower actuator that sits right on the transmission tunnel. Anyhow, today was the first day I really needed A/C and it just wasn't cold. Cool yes, but not cold. Is there a way to determine if this is a function of the blend door(s) not doing their thing versus the system A/C needing a repair/recharge? I don't have access to any A/C equipment myself, how to determine if it's a blend door issue?

View 1 RepliesSo the dealer replaced my homelink buttons for the delaminating. The light that lights up when you press the button is not present in the cutout. Rather than drag the truck all the way back to the dealer, I was hoping to pop the cover off and reposition it myself.
View 5 RepliesI put in keyless start about a year ago (best mod ever) and about three weeks my keyless access stopped working. Keyless start works fine. Supposedly I need something called a Kessey module. Is there any chance the two are related? Is the Kessey module the thing you put the extra wires into for the keyless start or is it an entirely separate module?

View 2 RepliesI got in my truck yesterday morning and as soon as I turn the key, the volume starting increasing to as loud as it would go, as I attempted to turn it down, it fights me and turns up. The only way to stop the madness is to turn off the radio all together. I then noticed that I was unable to access my MFI from the steering column and the Volume buttons do not work there as well.
If I cycle power on the stereo a few times the volume increase will stop......until I touch any setting on the stereo, then the gremlins take over once again.

I try to lock the treg with the button on drivers door handle and nothing happens. All other door buttons work fine. Am I in for a new door handle or just another software quirk?
View 12 RepliesPremature tire wear and faulty wheel alignment issues on 2004 Touareg V8 with 10,000 miles. My dealer informed me that my original tires, Continental 4X4 Contact 255/55R18s were about to need replacement and that there were known issues with the tire compound and alignment specifications. I have had the vehicle about 14 months. He said it was over twelve months but he would bring it up with the district representative. I told him that I thought this came under concealed defects and I expected VW to replace the tires and align all four wheels to whatever the current spec. Are there VW bulletins covering this I can obtain copies of?
View 1 RepliesHaving trouble with the fuel level readings in their t-reg? When I fill mine up it shows as full but drops to 3/4 of a tank within 10 miles. Then it reads fine for about 300 or so miles and then drops to empty in about 20 or 30 miles. When I fill it back up it still has 6 or 7 gallons left. And yes, I am using 91 octane gas.
View 5 RepliesI recently had a new TPM Module installed by the Dealer. Today before loading one of my 19" Summer Wheel/Tire with a TPM sensor into the back, I went into the menu to turn off the TPM system, and there is no option to turn it off.
So I loaded the wheel/tire into the back, and took my chances in getting an error message in the MFI. But to my surprise, I did not get any error messages.
What gives? Can I get the option back in the MFI with a Vag, or does the new module just not have the "off: option? And why didn't I get an error message with a fifth wheel/tire with a TPM sensor laded in the Treg?
I have someone with a VAG-COM coming into town to disable TPMS, but I cant get my tpms module disconnected. I can feel the wire harness, but I cant figure out how to release it.
View 7 RepliesI had a leaky sunroof issue over the weekend. I was driving in rainy weather on I-80 in Sacramento and water started pouring (very steady drip) out of corner of the compass module on Saturday. A few minutes later it started dripping out of another plastic seam towards the rear view mirror.
The head liner also started getting saturated near the compass. I took it to the dealer Monday to fix some other issues, and they said they could not replicate the leak problem, but that they did blow out the drain plugs. I guess my question would be, even if the drains were blocked, how would water get down the head liner and into the compass area?
I look and it appears that the only holes in the sunroof tray are on the sides, which I assume are the drain holes. Did my dealer really do anything by blowing out the drain holes? Additionally, I have only had my Treg for 2 months and have not used the sunroof much due to the weather this year.
Where is the LCM located in the T-Rag?
