Touareg :: 2006 Speaker Thump Once Every Time When Open Or Close The Door

So, I've had the car a couple of months and things just keep getting stranger. I've been through my 2nd Airbag fault and now it's been returned from the dealer and every time I open or close the door the speakers "thump" once. I decided to remove the stereo to be sure it wasn't my IPod causing the problem and with the stereo disconnected the speakers still " thump" once when you lock or unlock the door. It's just a nuisance but I'd like to get it resolved because it will also sit in the garage and randomly thump for no reason. Another new strange occurrence is that the alarm now works, whereas before it was so quiet that it could hardly be heard. I suspect something between the door lock and alarm being the problem but the dealer is clueless. Other weird things like the seat not always moving when you put the key in the ignition , the alarm going off randomly when exiting the car are happening as well.

I'm a new Touraeg owner, a 2004 V6. When I get in it after it's been parked I sometimes hear a weird thump that sounds like a speaker getting a quick jolt. I've heard it a few times.

Yesturday at about 3 pm i start to install my newly received kit from spock and all seems well slow but well, i get the wiring in place with no problem but i couldn't get the long purple piece to go in to the small black piece when it came time to reassemble, at this point it starts to rain outside and became dark so i figured i would just finish it in the morning. I try and lock the car and duh it can't happen i have all of that disconnected, so i manually lock the car. This morning i gt up first thing and manually unlock the door and open it only to find the alarm starts to go off. I put my key in the ignition as a normal response to shut the alarm off but the key gets locked into the ignition and now i am left sitting here at 7:30 in the morning with a car alarm that is going off and can't be stopped. I get out and close the door and manually lock the car and that stopped the alarm. Now the problem ... Every time i open the door the alarm goes off i close it, it shuts off.

When our 2008 Outback (75K miles) is running the garage door remote in the car will not open or close the door. New batteries in the remote, so that can't be the cause. We have to turn the car motor off, operate the remote, then start the car again. We have to follow the same procedure when getting back into the garage. This just started about a month ago and does not happen with any of the other cars in the garage when opening or closing the same door, i.e. the remotes operate with their motors running. Is it possible there is some new electrical discharge from the car that is causing this? Something unusual with the alternator? Other possible causes?

I have a customer with a 2013 Touareg. He wants to be able to open the windows with the FOB as he approaches the vehicle. I was able to use VAG-COM to allow the driver's window open/close, but not the remaining windows.

Is this possible on the Touareg? I had this turned on my 02 A4, really nice feature. I know you can close and open with the key in the door, would love to do it from the key.

Our car was rear-ended (we had a great shop to the repairs and the car drives/looks like it did pre-accident). However, the navigation door magically stopped working now that we have the car back. The navigation screen still works fine, but the open/cose buttons will not make the door/lid open.
On other threads I have searched here, people have suggested this could be from the door being off-track (not the case here), a broken motor (could be the case), and/or a blown fuse (also could be the case).
What fuse I would need to check if it is in fact a fuse? I've looked at the fuse boxes in the engine bay (by the battery) and in the trunk, but all fuses look fine. Is there anywhere else I should look for a fuse before wasting a day at the dealer to diagnose/fix the problem?

It goes on and off with a buzzing sound. less so with the radio than with the satellite radio which is wired through the cd plug in the trunk..
Sometimes goes back on when you hid a bump like there's a poor connection.

I just bought a 2002 SC430, 62,000 miles, silver/saddle near perfect condition on owner, all records for $17,000. The radio door is stuck open and won't close. How to fix it? [/COLOR] Also the radio antenna will not go all the way down - about five inches stays up. Are the two problems related. Like others mentioned, I could eat off of the engine and the trunk still smells like a new car.

Two part question:
-Audio is my hobby. I hear things that many people don't. One of the things I'm hearing from my Sound System I is a faint buzzing/vibration in many of the speakers. Some of it can only be heard in certain songs (Steely Dan/Jack Of Speed - Great song!), or when playing an audio book. Most of the time, it comes from the woofers, but with audio books (spoken word), I can hear it from midrange/tweeters as well.
-I've had the car at the dealer multiple times for this. They did replace one speaker and claim to have parts in order to fix it. I suspect that the speakers are just vibrating on their mounts, or vibrating something inside the door. I might be able to fix it. How to take the door panels off so the speakers can be accessed?

Tried all the steps as out-line on 100's of threads. When I open and close the door I do not hear the chime or buzz to tell me that that step is done and of course no chime at the 7-second mark nor at the 15 second mark.

When opening Power Rear Door , the door will open then immediately close . After going through this initial opening, the second attempt will open properly & close only when Power Door Button is depressed. We just upgraded our Prius from Gen 3 to Gen 3....a 2012. Great ride, just drove it from SoCal on a Sierra Mtns road trip, a little hiking and snowboarding for our spring break. What we failed to notice upon purchase was a passenger door whose controls want work! The drivers door can lock the car and operate the passenger window and lock. However, the passenger door switch won't open or close the window, nor will it lock the door. All other doors and locks work normally.

After owning the truck for a little over a year I figure it's time to fix the little stuff staring off with the rear door. When pressing any of the 3 buttons to open/close it I get it to work 50% of the time. That being said, I can't pinpoint a specific bad part.

I have a '12 SCAB that when opening the driver door the weatherstrip on the door near the front fender, which seals against the pillar squeaks each time you open and close it. Makes the truck sound 20 years old. It appears the weatherstrip is binding on itself instead of just slipping past. I understand it gets dirty and cleaning it will work, but only for a day or so. I've checked the orientation of the weatherstrip with new trucks and its in the correct position.

I took the T-REG to a dealer today because I noticed the drivers door (more precisely the bottom corner towards the rear) doesn't close well, and the vehicle itself pulls to the right. I got a call back from the service manager stating that the door is actually bent!!! He states that the reason the vehicle pulls might be due to the bend as well!!! He advised me to call the dealer I actually bought it from and bring this up with them!!! I bought it with 103 miles it now has 203 (the extra miles are actually to just bring it to my house and drive it to the dealership)What should I do!!! Is the door actually repairable; the service manager states it is impossible to fix it because how it is made and installed!!

I have a 2008 with 21,000 miles on it, the arm rest has a completely worn down as if it has a 100,000 miles on it. Also I took car back to dealership because the rear speaker vibrates at the sound of music. I like this car but it doesnt seem to be built as well as the Sonata I had before it. more trips to the dealer.
