For the life of me, I can't figure out how to adjust the shoulder height of the seatbelt on my 06 Treg . The drawings in the owners manual don't look anything like the real thing.

I plan to tear into it this weekend, but before I do I was just wondering if any of you have any words of wisdom? It's kind of a weird, isolated problem, but you never know.
View 1 RepliesI have been using it a lot over the last 2 years since I bought my 2005 3.0 TDi. Love the car, have had a few issues but nothing major. I do now have an issue with the seat belt height adjustment in the passenger side. It will go down, but not up....slightly annoying as you can imagine. When I press the button to raise the belt, nothing happens. Seat are 18 ways ventilated massage seats.
View 3 RepliesI put the rear seats all the way down to haul some gear, and when I went to raise the rear passenger seat back up, I found it would not go back up. The middle shoulder belt is stuck in position. I removed the plastic clip, unbolted the metal frame, tried to jiggle what I could with a screwdriver, to no avail. I used to use this belt for the kid seat, so perhaps keeping it in position for so long did something to the linkage.
The car has 80k on it, 2000 Passat V6
I understand this can be done with a phillips screwdriver inserted to the sprockets almost like a gear.
My question is, does turning the driver clockwise move the light up or down?
I would like to know how you adjust the headlight height on your Tig. Does it have an electrical control/wheel on the dashboard or are there any different ways of adjusting.
View 9 RepliesHow do you adjust the rear height on coilovers? I have the ST coilovers which are comparable to the KW. Do I have to compress the spring and then adjust? I tried to do it with the wrenches given but the whole thing just turns with it. I'm going to lower the front some more and I want to do the rear as well. It is my first set of coilovers on a car and I had someone else do the install.

View 2 RepliesI know the Touareg has a problem with the rear seat belt locking and making it impossible to raise the rear seat after it's folded down. In fact, that happened to me and I'm going to have it fixed next week. Now, however, the front passenger side seat belt is stuck about 2/3 of the way out. Can't pull out more and won't retract.

View 11 RepliesTruck was in shop 10K service on Thursday (4/7) and as soon as I started the truck on Friday I have the Air Bag/Seat Belt Pretension light on showing up in dash. The light is one but no MFI fault reported.
Why indicator light coming on just after service? I did not pick the truck up at the shop on Thursday so I cannot say if it was on immediately after 10K service. Shop asked me to drop the truck off Sunday night. Site Search came up with several items that could cause this malfunction.

It's not a big deal but it was enough to make me look through the owners manual to see if it could be disabled. Well, I didn't find my answer so I thought maybe someone here has already done it. I didn't have this issue in my SC400, my girlfriend's Cayenne, or any of the other cars I drive on a regular basis. Is this common for these cars? Could the leather just be low quality? It has been coming on a lot more lately,with no loss of power...I do have a mass air flow code coming up with no issues as far as the car goes..no issues driving. So with a new alternator and battery put in what can be the issue?
View 4 RepliesQuestion is about seat belt reminder/warning light that sits on right side of the radio. Mine is on all the time, it doesn't matter if someone is sitting in passenger seat or not. The only thing it will be different is when you first start the car or if someone is in passenger seat it pulsates 10 or 11 times and then stays on. I tried different seat belt & seat belt buckle, nothing. There is no warning light on my instrumental panel. Everything seems to be fine beside that light. And yes I did search for it here on forums, google, etc, and I'd rather fix this problem then just unplug the light. What could be the problem? Light itself?
