How to adjust the low beams on a 2004, the MFI is telling me they are out of range?

View 1 RepliesHow to adjust the Headlights on a 2006 Touareg. I am importing my US Reg Touareg to the UK and need to adjust the beams to UK Road Regs...
View 1 RepliesFor some reason, the search button isn't working. Anyhow though, I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the high beams on the Sonata? I know how to adjust the low beams but am at a loss regarding the high beams---the owner's manual only tells about how to adjust the low beams.
View 7 RepliesI know the instructions are somewhere, but I am having trouble figuring out how to change the headlamp bulbs (high & low beams) on the easy side-driver side. Do I need to loosen the headlamp assembly or can I just go into the headlamp assembly without removing it?
View 3 RepliesI've noticed that my left low beam headlight is considerably higher (aimed) than my right. I have concluded that my left one is high, as opposed to my right side being low. How to adjust only the vertical adjustment of the low beam headlights?
I have looked under the hood and saw some off-white plastic adjusters but I'm not sure. I don't' want to go twisting and turning things willy-nilly. Yes, I did scour the manual but no mention of adjustment. Yes, it tells how to remove the headlights (!) but not how to adjust.
Having problem adjusting the rain sensing wipers? They're either going too fast or they won't stop when the windshield is dry and not getting wet. I hate these rain sensing wipers. My Audi A4 has several adjustments in the intermittent mode and it works great. Why VW couldn't stick with that I'll never know.

View 3 RepliesFor the life of me, I can't figure out how to adjust the shoulder height of the seatbelt on my 06 Treg . The drawings in the owners manual don't look anything like the real thing.
View 3 RepliesHow to step by step adjust the low beams. I looked at trying to do this and haven't got a clue. Do you need to remove the whole lighting unit or is there an adjustment screw you get to by feel, because you aren't getting in back of the light assembly from the engine compartment, maybe remove the wheel well guards? I think i'm in the market for a service manual. My motto is If it aint broke...........fix it until it is!!!!!
View 7 RepliesI just took my '05 Treg into the dealer to adjust the headlights because they were not level. The passenger side was about 5" lower that the driver's side in 10 feet. I have the bi-xenons. At night the low beams are way to low.....can't drive more than 25mph safely!
How do I adjust these myself?
When driving at night I often get high beams flashed at me by oncomming traffic who mistakenly believe I'm running my high beams. I thought the headlights (xenons) were self levelling. Do I need to adjust them?
View 22 RepliesI experienced abnormal behaviour of the xenons (I think).I thought that when all lights were off (no DRL's or what so ever), and I flash the high beams (pull the left lever towards me and release) that I'd see the halogens only and no xenons, but apparently the xenons are flashing as well.
I know there's a mechanism in front of the xenon bulbs that covers the normal xenon beam partly for the normal lights, and gives you the full beam when high beams are on (the thing called "Bi-Xenon").
But I thought the xenons are not supposed to come on just for flashing if the normal lights are not already on, because the lighting of a xenon bulb is not fast enough.
My truck only has low beams. When you move the stalk on the colum backwords it changes nothing, when you move it forwards the low beams go out but the high beams do not come on.
View 14 RepliesI have checked fuse 46 and 47, and installed new headlight bulbs. I have high beams, but no low beams. I have searched this topic but no one has the same prob it seems. My headlight switch has broken. Could it be the headlight switch?
In my manual, it says the 2002 has a fuse panel behind the glove box. I took glove box out but it doesn't look like a fuse panel.
I want to replace my headlight bulbs; I want to install 8000K in my low beams, and maybe 3000K in my hi beams. But all of the bulbs that I ever installed either; A the burnt out within few weeks (lost color), or B they stopped working.
Now, regular WHITE bulbs seem to work forever; but the color ones, burn out/break. Low quality?? I need a pair of very good 9006 8000K, and 9005 3000K. Again, but I don't want to change them in a week or two. I want them to last!!
P.S. 2005 Toyota Camry
I recently installed new halo HID headlights in my 2003 f150 with HID bulbs and ballast the passenger side worked and the drivers side didn't nth lights wired exactly the same. I switched everything from the passenger to the drivers side still nothing I switched everything back to passenger side and they don't work now. I tired regular bulbs in the passenger side an it worked then on the drivers side and it worked for a split second and went out and then I retried t on the passenger side and it worked for a split second and went out a now neither are working. I checked all the fuses and their good. What the problem could be?
View 5 RepliesI have a 2010 prius the basic model I turned the lights and both headlights went out they only worked on high beams.
I changed the bulbs no luck they still only work on high beams checked fuses they looked good is there anything else I can check?
After spending weeks ordering parts and doing research on this issue all my attempts have not solved the issue. To reiterate the issue, the high beams work, and the low beams do not. Thus far I have attempted the following without the desired result-
1. Changed the headlights out just in case both bulbs burnt at once.
2. Changed the blinker stalk in hopes of a faulty switch.
3. Changed the headlight switch to a brand new OEM Euro style switch.
4. Checked all fuses (did this first actually).
The other night on my way home, I flipped on the high beams and the low beams didn't shut off. Flash to pass still works, and pushing in on the end of the stem turns the low beams off as well.
Having the column switch apart, is it possible this could be fixed without having to pull the steering wheel? Or, am I better off just spending the hundred dollars of so and putting in a new part?
It ford related but I just bought a used car that has hid low beams and when you turn on high beams there is no light at all. The blue light on dash comes on and head lights go off. I just got this car 2 days ago and haven't really looked into it.
View 5 RepliesBought an 04 a couple of weeks ago and the passenger side headlight is way high.I turned the adjustment knob and it does nothing. The drivers side light is fine, but out of curiosity I turned that knob and it didn't do anything either.I'm thinking about buying an aftermarket assembly.
