I recently got a Wolfsburg Tiguan with the RCD-510. When there's an incoming call, the ring is ridiculously loud, yet I still need to raise the call volume to hear the person on the line.
View 4 RepliesI have an I-Phone 4s and for some reason my car will not recognize when a call is coming in. I am continuously having to "forget" then resync my phone for it to work. Even then it will only last for so long. In addition, I can't seem to get the bluetooth to play music from my phone either.

When we get an incoming call it no longer 'rings' through the car's audio system. How do I get the 'ring' back? The screen indicates an incoming call, but the ring has stopped.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2013 Camry XLE with navigation. About 6 months ago I got an LG G3 phone which I was able to pair with the bluetooth and everything worked fine until recently. I can make out going calls with no problem but when I have an incoming call the system won't pick up the call. When I use the answer call button on the steering wheel or on the nav screen the phone stops ringing but I can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear me. I have removed and added the phone several times and every once in a while it will work but then it stops again.
View 1 Replies2012 Camry LE. When I am already talking to someone using the Bluetooth and another call comes in, I get a Caller ID pop-up on the screen along with a green phone and a red phone. Neither button does anything. There doesn't seem to be any way to switch to the second call. I can't even end the first call. It's as if that second call has disabled all functionality of the screen and steering wheel buttons.

Why this is happening all of a sudden? It was working fine until recently.. how do I fix it?
View 5 RepliesI'm having problem getting the contact name displayed for all incoming call. All the contacts have already been downloaded to the car, and I can see them all in the car bluetooth contact list.
When making out going call, it's only displaying the number, I am ok with outgoing. But for incoming calls, it will only display number which is very hard to tell who is calling.
I checked phone setting, and also in car's phone setting, can't figure out how to do it.
All of a sudden, when I answer a bluetooth phone call, the phone call screen comes up but
1) Whatever was playing on my stereo doesn't stop and
2) Neither I nor the person calling can hear each other and the phone call ends.
What to do? I tried unpairing and re-pairing my phone and that did not work.
I just got my 2012 Prius 4, the blue tooth is paired with my Samsung Captivate (SGH-I897), however the car bluetooth will not let me answer the incomming calls whenever I hit the green call button on the screen or the call button on the steering wheel.. or any button for that matter. The only way I can answer incomming calls is to dig out my phone and answer the call on my phone.. I called toyota and 3 customer service reps called me back and guess what, I was able to answer their phone calls on the car blue tooth... but no one else... I received numerous calls and was not able to answer them using my car bluetooth...

View 2 RepliesWhen receiving or calling someone via bluetooth, they sound choppy on my end but they say I sound fine on their end. The music plays fine over bluetooth also. Have used 2 different phones and both do the same thing.
View 5 RepliesSo my 2012 camry with the touchscreen head unit connects to my phone just fine. It streams my music just fine as well. I however hate my phone calls, texts, etc coming through the car. After my phone connects to the car, I can go to the bluetooth menu and tell it to disconnect for phone and that takes care of it for that drive. But every time I get in the car I have to break that connection.

I had my phone plugged in to charge up, and got a call, so my bluetooth kicked in and i started the conversation, but during my conversation i disconnected the phone from the charger, and all of a sudden music starts playing through my speakers all while i'm having a conversation. First i thought it was the other person's music on the background or something, but it was me, i had to stop the music on my iphone. After conversation ended, music kicked back in automatically from my iphone again.

One issue that I have encountered is that when I receive a phone call while driving I answer the call but neither me or the other person can hear the audio. I have to go to the phone screen- select the option to switch to private and then switch back to hands-free and then it works.
When I place calls it works as it should- it only does this when I receive a call.
I have a Sprint HTC Hero. It worked fine on my Prius. I upgraded the phone from Android 1.5 to 2.1. I thought all was OK because the phone would connect to the car. The problem is that when I make a call or someone calls me everything looks OK until someone talks. Nothing. No voices. I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me.
View 6 RepliesI have a 2007 RX 350. I just recently started using bluetooth. It was working well and then all of a sudden I have an issue after a call. I hang up my phone, but the screen still shows that it is talking; although, no call is being made. I have to stop and start car to get it to clear, so I can start again. However, it will only work once and then it still won't hang up.
View 12 RepliesI have a 2016 XLE with the head unit that has nav but is not the premium JBL. My wife and I both use our phones in the car. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. I have the Entune app on my phone. My phone sounds great when I use the hands free talking. When my wife calls me from the car her phone sounds horrible. Two identical phones and one sounds great and the other horrible. Is there a fix for this problem?

View 2 RepliesI all of a sudden starting having problem with my Bluetooth connection. I have an iPhone 6s (since September). It has latest operating system.
Now whenever I receive a text or notification on my phone it connects the Bluetooth. It shouldn't at all with app notifications. It then does release the connection.
Nav screen says call in progress. Hanging up phone from steering wheel does nothing. I must turn off Bluetooth on phone to release "the call" and listen to the radio.
I have an iPhone 4S that connects to the car fine. The problem is that it randomly drops bluetooth during a call. It does repair after random periods of time. My only guess is the phone because the iPhone 4 I just traded in never had this issue. I have tried deleting the pairing from both the car and phone without any luck.
