View 2 RepliesI have a 2007 Santa Fe CRD+ with integrated roof rails and roof rack. The roof rails have started to come quite loose - is there a simple way to tighten them? Or is this a main dealer job? I am worried about damaging the trim and there are no obvious bolts, screws etc to be seen
View 1 RepliesJust got a mild lift done on my Ex and still wanting to park it in the garage.
If I remove the useless rails and cross bars that looks like it's still a possibility.
What to fill the holes with? Just torx screws? Anything else I need to do to prevent water leakage?
Is it possible to install the OEM roof bars on a S? The VW Parts guy says no.
View 5 RepliesJust noticed that an A-pillar plastic cover (on the right side) is coming apart from headliner. Inspected it further and discovered that the headliner is somewhat separating from the roof, so much that I can stick my fingers in there. Nothing like that on the left side. It seems that there are no clips that that I could push back in, it just hangs freely.

View 1 RepliesI took my first road trip last weekend in my new-to-me 2010 Tiguan. At speeds over 70mph, there is a quite loud buzzing noise from the front of the roof area. It sounds like 2 pieces of metal are slapping together at a very high rate of speed. I can't for the life of me figure out what it could be. It is really, really annoying. So much so, that I may take another car for my NYC to Florida trip next month. I'd really like to take the Tiguan though...
I have the panoramic roof - it all seems tight and has no rattles whatsoever. There are no loose moldings, no gaps in the windshield molding. The roof rails appear to be tight, however the front of the right one is slightly raised off of the roof surface. I was going to try to tighten it somehow, but don't know how to even access the screws that hold it down.
Hard to describe since I'm away from the Tiguan and can't take a picture.. but I noticed that the left side wasn't tucked under, but the right side was. I'm referring to where the two glass roofs meet in the middle. The rubber seals are completely visible from the front but then are tucked under the plastic part at the middle of the sunroof.
View 3 RepliesHow to twist or pull the factory connector stored in the rear bumper, for hitch install. I see a small gray clip somehow attached to the barrel connector, but it doesn't seem to want to release.
View 4 RepliesProud owner of a 2012 Tig! My wife recently got a new cell phone and would like to remove the profile associated with her old phone from the hands-free Bluetooth (the old phone is inoperable). I don't see anything in the menu system. Is there any way to do that?

View 2 RepliesAfter returning home from our trip last week I was giving the truck a once-over and trying to figure out why I had less clearance with the cab lights and the camper. Well a quick look down under revealed the culprit, the cross rail closest to the front is gone where it comes in contact with the frame. The inside of the bed would flex when I walked on it , in turn most every time I would hit a bump or transition in the road the camper would hit the cab lights. The rest of the bed is in real good shape, those rails are almost shot. Dually beds aren't cheap and getting someone to weld in new rails probably won't be either. We have decided to keep it at least one more year, I may attempt it on my own, get my brother -in-law to weld in the rails..
View 5 RepliesI have replaced hpop, lpop gears and cover, stand pipes, dummy plugs, rebuilt high pressure rails, and i still have issues. The icp readings on torque pro are mostly below 100 hot. I am clueless... I ordered the icp air fitting but it wont be here until tuesday.
View 9 RepliesI've never used a rust converter, so I have no experience and wanted to hear from those who have. I've got some light rust on the frame rails and the hitch receiver. What product would you recommend, or do these products work well enough to consider? According to all of the websites, they all work miracles...
