Tiguan :: 2011 - Tail Lights Lens Broken / Replace Whole Assembly?

Last night I broke the tail light at the grocery store... I came out and there was a line of carts behind my car that a parking lot attendant was collecting. I added my cart to the end and went to shove them all out of the way, and he yells to me, "I got it! I got it!" so I leave them, get into my car, see him go past with a bunch of carts & back up. What this will run? Can I just replace the lens or do I have to replace the whole assembly? And is this something I can easily enough swap out myself?

How do you remove and reinstall just the lens in the rear light assembly in 2002 SC430 ? I can see that it probably just snaps out using a screwdriver as a pry tool but want to be sure !

I've noticed water accumulated beneath the clear lens covering my headlamp assembly in my 2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid headlamp. The dealer says the entire lamp assembly needs to be replaced. It seems this should be a simple gasket issue with the clear lens cover.

What's the best way to find the information on changing a broken lens on a daytime running light led on a 2013 Prius 2? Can't find anything on YouTube. Would the owners manual have anything like that? The led still works but I'm afraid moisture will cause it to malfunction. Will I have to buy the whole led assembly?

A week into owning my Sonata, I noticed the right tail light had become ajar, with the plastic fittings completely snapped off.
I had to take it to the dealership to get it serviced, whatever, problem solved. Right? Yesterday, the left tail light snapped off in the same way.
I have not been hit or gotten into any kind of accident for that matter. I got it serviced again today and asked if this was some kind of a defect in the car.
For both tail lights to snap off is really a mystery to me.

2013 SE 2.4 ... I am away from my car. Should be home Tues afternoon. When I left 7 days ago at 6am, I had no headlights. The light on the dash was on and all the other tail lights worked. Before I had to leave I quickly looked for the headlight fuse(s). Where to find it(them)? I may have to drive home after dark and will need headlights.

2011 F-150 crew cab 4x4, problem started when truck wouldn't start like a dead battery. Jumped and immediately started no problem, drove a half hour and stopped at store, started fine and all good. Parked at house and friends stopped over and reported truck tail lights / brake lights were flashing. Fellow mechanic recommended unplugging trailer plug receptacle behind bumper and waited but same thing, lights blink every couple seconds. Who's the electrical gremlin slayer champion ??? Any ides or cures for known issues of this nature ?

I'm a not-terribly-handy (but not totally inept!) apartment dweller with few tools, but it looks like I'm going to need to go buy a deep socket. I park on the street and came out the other day to find my driver side tail light pretty smashed up. I found one for $75 at the junk yard and believe I can swap them myself. I found a YouTube video that shows how to do it on a Gen II. On the Gen II, the nuts holding the assembly in place are 10mm. Definitely not the case on the Gen I. They're much smaller. I have a set of sockets but nothing deep enough to get me past those long bolts, but I'd rather not buy a whole set, since I'm not even sure whether I'd need metric or standard.

I left town tonight and dad called to say I had no tail lights. I stopped and checked the book to see where the fuse is and couldn't find anything for the tail lights or parking lamps. I have brake lights, both rear turn signals and the tail lights blink when you lock it with the fob. The trailer socket shows I have trailer tail/marker working. Why don't my tail lights work?

I started my Subbie and all the lights just start going crazy on my dash. So I pulled of the road and started freaking out, Never had a hint of a problem. Just picked up my new 2011 Tiguan High Line today and after I got home I realized that the driver power seat does not work. Is there a way to reset it myself? Or I have to go to the deal again to have them do it?
And also, the fog lights do not turn on. I tried to turn on all the light while vehicle is parked in the garage, but everything works except fog lights. I referred to the Owner's Manual and pulled the nob out, turned it to the required location, but nothing happens.

Also looked through our manuals and saw jack. Looked at the inside of the rear hatch and saw no easy way of replacing the rear tail light bulbs. I'm guessing that i would have to take out the plastic and/or carpet to get to it?

I need to replace one of the tailights on my wife's '06 RX330. It's one of the inboard tailights that, along with a backup light, is contained in a module in the rear liftgate.
How to remove the module for access to the lights? I see a screw/nut that apparently must be removed first, but after removing it, I couldn't tell whether module pulled straight out (or forward when the liftgate is closed), if it pulled to the side of the car, or if there's another fastener I missed. I don't want to pull the wrong way and break something......

I'm pretty sure I can replace it myself, but with the age of the part, is there any source for a used replacement? My son was getting out of the back seat and pulled his coat across the cup holder in the center console and broke it. The dealer said that I have to buy the whole arm rest for $1100. I can unzip the leather and there is two screws in the back that can be removed and the cup holder comes out. Can replace just the cup holder?
