I don't know where the wiring harness is for the front turn signal.
Im able to get to the bulb (from under the front fender) I took the bulb out and I notice the harness is not on the back cap of the bulb....
Where's the harness???? I need to install the load resistors.
This is for the 1157 flashback bulb
Can make the front turn signal witch is also the parking light into a hid?? And how to change the bulbs in the mirror turn signal?

View 13 RepliesOn my Gen II Prius, I want to swap the Front Side Marker with the Turn Signal. Thus, the Front Side Marker becomes my blinker and the Turn Signal bulb as my Front Marker light. Since I do not have the money or patience to clear out the front orange reflectors, i decided to swap the light functionality. I plan to get some SMD 992 bulbs to replace the current halogen and make them my side markers.
View 5 Replies2003 SCrew, 5.4, auto, 4x4.... Yesterday my left turn signal started flashing fast; checked and the front was not flashing. Picked up a new bulb, changed it, didn't fix anything.
I've tried:
-tilt wheel up/down in all settings-no change
-checked the wiring at the top of the column; still good and solid.
-swapped the bulbs left to right and vice versa-no change.
-swapped the sockets left to right and vice versa-no change.
Other info:
-the left front is the only one not flashing with hazards on.
-all original equipment, except I removed the stock side mirrors (w/signal) and installed manual trailer towing mirrors, but that was 2 or 3 years ago.
-the dash indicator light for left turn (arrow) does not come on at all.
-last trailer tow was over a month ago and all was good.
I ran out of daylight last night and at work now so I would like know which Fuse, Flasher, Relay, etc., I should check/replace and where to find them on the truck; under the hood (1st or 2nd stack of the fuse blocks); under the dash above the pedals; steering column???
1994 Econoline E350. All the other lights work but on the front right the turn signal light flashes but the Hazard lite will not flash. I check for power at the wire at the light and there is none.
View 6 RepliesA few minutes ago on the way to the cabin, I was using the high beam (Auto mode) and when I push the stalk up to make the right turn, the headlights went off for a sec while the dash lights flashed brightly. Almost made me change my underwear!
When I arrived at the cabin, I tested the stalk and it turned out with loose or something like that.
What was causing that action? It never happen with low beams.
I have a '13 sonata. I really like the turn signals that newer cars are doing on the outside edges of the mirrors. Without swapping everything out with new mirror shells.
Clarification: Note I want to add the lights to the outside front facing of the mirror buckets Not the ones they do have that attaches behind the mirror portion facing back. so oncoming cars can see the signals......
I have a 2012 limited last night while driving when I would turn my turn signal on the headlights would flash off and back on. I tried it a few more times and it did this quite a bit. I do have HID lights which I have had for about a year now but never had an issue before.

Turn signals work in front of truck. Running lights are working fine.
Same goes when trailer is connected on truck. What could be the problem.

View 2 RepliesWhat is that called? Mass air flow sensor wiring harness? I google 2011 vw gti MAF wiring harness, and i get nothing, or crap thats almost not related to what im looking for. While I was installing my intake, I accidently cut half of the wire to my MAF located behind the battery. Why I was cutting, dont ask, i was impatient. Anyways, what is it called? I want to replace my MAF and the wiring that leads to it.
View 1 RepliesI'm still fighting tow harness problems on my '01 F 250. I started by replacing the 7-way pig tail with a new one which didn't work. Then I undid all the butchering of the harness that was done previously. The factory harness had scotch locks all over it that were used to splice in a 6-way and a 7-way into the bed. I liquid taped all the nicks in the wires. Then I checked for power at the factory harness end where the pigtail plugs in. I have park/running lights, and one of the ports flashes for the left turn signal/flashers/stop lamps. I got rained on before I could check further up the wire. If I have no power to the wire further up is there another place to check?
View 2 RepliesWe have a 2015 Sonata 2.4 Sport that has developed an intermittent turn signal problem. When the left turn signal is turned on, the right signal will blink. When the right signal is turned on, nothing blinks. A new symptom that recently started is sometimes neither turn signal will turn on regardless of the position of the turn signal stalk. I managed to get the car to dealer #1 while the LEFT=RIGHT & RIGHT=NOTHING issue was happening but while troubleshooting it, they ran across an inactivated aftermarket alarm system that dealer #2 that sold me the car had installed. I guess the alarm they install is so cheap, it's not even worth removing if they are unsuccessful in upselling you at the time of purchase.
Since dealer #1 would not troubleshoot any further unless the alarm was removed, I retrieved the car and took it back to the original dealer #2 I bought it from. They removed the alarm and the turn signals started working again, however, this lasted about 2 weeks before the symptoms returned. I booked an appointment at the dealer #1 to bring the car in & half way during the drive there, the turn signals started working again. With nothing to show them, I didn't drop off the car. Now the problem is back. Since it tends to come and go, I have try and time when I can drop the car off so it's happening when they get it.
I need locating a wiring diagram for the GX 460 to accomplish the following.
(The wire must be connected to a point that is at ground voltage when the turn signal is ON. You must find a point that is ground when the turn signals are on to make the unit work.)
I plan on moving the engine/drivetrain from my 1986 F350 460 to my 1996 F250. I also want to move over the 1986's ignition system with a Duraspark 2 setup.
Although I could just cut in the easiest places to remove the wiring for later reuse I am looking for where to make the cuts, what to take and what to scrap. Alternatively I am also asking if there are aftermarket or OEM replacement sets out there are aren't a ton of money. The current harness in the 1986 has been sprayed with engine oil and cooked for 27 years so I am looking at alternative options if there are any.
Jumped in the truck this evening to go to the store and when I stared it up the left turn signal was blinking. Lifted the arm as usual to cancel and it does not cancel. Cannot get the left signal off unless I hold the turn signal up for the right signal. The right signal does not activate, but the left does go out as long as I hold the arm up. Let go and the left starts blinking again. Tried driving around to see if it would cancel and no luck. The bulbs are all good. I checked the relays in the fuse panel and they are good. Dang thing just won't shut off. It is a 2011 F150 SCREW Platinum w/5.0.
View 4 RepliesMy wife drives a 2013 jeep patriot with less than 20k miles on it. The turn signals began behaving eccentrically (beeps at strange intervals, and the right turn signal flashing twice as fast most of the time). We figured out that the right rear brake/turn light was out, so I replaced the bulb. That solved the problems, but on the way I noticed that the widget that the bulb plugs into looks just scorched (see pics). I don't have enough experience with these vehicles to know if this is normal, or if this means more trouble to come.
View 6 RepliesLong story short, my truck's front turn signals and rear turn signals/tail lights won't work. I am thinking that the relay is burnt. Whenever I look in the manual I can't seem to find the location for this relay. Is is built into the flasher?
Also, I am just assuming because the rear turn signals and tail lights are the same bulb that fixing this should clear up both problems. Am I right in thinking that?
I have already checked all of the fuses. Also, the Hazards don't work either.
Swapping the 08 mirrors onto older trucks. Which wire I should splice into in the door sill for the right turn signals?
I have an 08, with the tow mirrors/turn signals integrated. On the passenger side, the turn signal does not work. I'm not getting power at the plug.
I traced the wire colors from the headlight and taillight turn lamps and tried splicing into the same colored wires under the passenger door sill. This didn't work (I did get it to work on park lamps though, just not the turn signal). I can't find wiring diagrams.
I have a 1990 f-150 that periodically (and rapidly) blows the fuse for the turn signals. The brake/tail lights continue to work, but just the turn signals quits. Looking for a schematic of those systems?
