View 1 RepliesMy Navigation System shows me about 20 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean. I live on the east coast of Florida and cannot get the Nav to work.
View 10 RepliesGetting po171 and 174 codes. Also losing coolant, but unable to locate source of coolant loss. Had a 2000 Tahoe that had the same problem and had to replace the upper/lower intake manifold gaskets. I'm guessing I'm having the exact same problem with the suburban. Is this a common thing with the tahoes/suburbans? Anyway just want to see if everyone else thinks and if this is most likey my problem. Still getting good gas mileage and power....nothing is off...just getting those codes from time to time and losing coolant, but unable to find the leak.
View 14 RepliesLooking for a picture or description where this sensor is located? I assume very close to the crank pulley, but I'm hoping I will not need to remove the crank pulley to gain access to this sensor. I have a 2011 Sonata, 2.4L engine.
View 3 RepliesI've had this issue 2 times already but I usually just turn off the car and power it back up.
When I first turn on the car the P doesn't show up in the indicator to show what gear im in and I'm unable to come out of Park with the break pedal depressed all the way down, (break pedal became stiff) turner off and turned the car back on and same thing....

I currently have I45, 2 years old, that recently when driving at 100km approx 1.5to2K revs, loud noise like tyre has blown but was is happening the motor goes up to 3k revs, I have to pull over & stop the motor & restart otherwise if I keep driving the motor is revving at 3k revs unable to increase speed.
View 1 RepliesI am looking for an answer to changing my 2007 Sonata fuel tank air filter that is mentioned in my 30,000 mile maintenance schedule. Is this an easy change or does my car have to be taken to the dealer for this?
View 4 RepliesMy 2011 Dodge Caliber has been acting up and I am getting NO Where with the dealership. They keep telling me they can not figure out the problem, unless it does the same thing while it is there. But I feel unsafe driving my car, due to the fact it can happen at any given time. What happens is while driving it, all of a sudden you can not accelerate, you can have the pedal to the floor and nothing maybe 5 miles is all I get. This has happened twice now, and both time I took in it. The second time it happened all I did was start the car up. NOw how would you feel if you were driving and all of a sudden this happened to you. What if I'm driving and it happens when I go make a turn, and bam I get hit. Again this sucks and piss's me off. Oh yeah I only have 10,289 miles on it.
View 19 RepliesI locked my SF yesterday evening as normal. This morning I am unable to open the locks remotely and I could see the clock is displayed inside, shouldn't be until I put the key in. I opened the drivers door with the key and the clock display goes out, I shut the door and hear a warning ping, clock display comes back on.
I can start the car OK, unlock/lock the other doors with the power lock switch no problem. Stop engine, remove key, clock comes back on, cannot use remote lock at all.
The only clue is a thunderstorm in the night and I'm wondering if lightning EMP has caused a glitch in the management computer.
I have a 2011 GTI 6MT, APR tuned. I am unable to rev beyond 4000 RPM in neutral, or in 1st with clutch pressed. Parking brake on/off doesn't matter either. I don't rev my engine at stop lights or anything stupid like that, I just found this out because a member on here suggested that I rev the engine up to test for an issue with something else, and I found this 4000 RPM limiter. Is this normal?
View 10 RepliesI just replaced my OEM battery with a duralast from autozone. The battery had 138,000 miles. Shortly after, the check engine light came on and code says P0106. Map Sensor. Seems like to much of coincidence that this happened. Have read that disconnecting battery cables for 3 hours may do the trick.
View 8 RepliesThe Bentley shows the A/C recharge port behind the passenger headlight but I couldn't find it there. I did find a port by the passenger side strut tower. Is that the correct port?
View 6 RepliesWill be picking up my Camry XLE in a couple days. Told the Dealers not to install the front plate holder and plates.
So, I was wondering has anyone installed a bracket somewhere on/in the front without drilling into the bumper?
I prefer it like that, at least I can put on or take off without having marks or what so ever on the car.
I remember seeing a suction pump to sample to the oil from the dipstick tube a few months ago . Today I want to purchase it, but just can't locate it again!

View 2 RepliesI have a 1996 Ram with the V10 that only has 10,000 miles since it was replaced by Dodge. 7 years has passed since that shortblock warranty job. It now has a tick/knock that I cant seem to locate? I changed the lifters and one push rod since is was a little bent and put it all back together. Still getting the same thing - nothing has changed ...
View 13 RepliesI'm trying to fix bad AC odor in the car. Instruction says spray into recirculation vent as well as fresh air intake. Fresh air intake was easy but I can't locate recirculation vent. I put recirculate mode on and put the fan to max to feel where air gets moved but was unable to find the vent. Where it is located?
[URL] ....
Diagram there indicates there's one on passenger side and driver's side. I took the cabin filter out and inspected the blower motor housing. There really isn't any recirculate duct or vent. There is a big flap on top of the filter and blower motor housing that opens and closes according to the mode. So when the car is in recirculate mode, it just sucks the air behind glove box compartment.
On my recently purchased 2013 Camry with DUAL VVT-i on the engine I cannot locate the transmission fluid dipstick.. I have ordered the owners's manual but it has not arrived.
View 14 RepliesI have a 2005 Chevy Cobalt, 2.2L engine and am having a few problems. I believe I am losing coolant somewhere, but cannot ever see any leaks or anything on the ground where I park. I am having to top off the reservoir a couple times a month with water/coolant to keep the temperature from going up above normal (which I've found is around 190 degrees). I first noticed this when the temperature had reached 230 degrees! I also hear a sound like sloshing water in the front end when I first start and drive the vehicle. The sloshing usually subsides after I've been driving for several minutes. To top it all off I now have a bit of foam on the oil cap and the oil looks a tad bit cloudy.
View 10 RepliesHow to locate the 5 digit code on the SJB on a 06 Explorer EB edition. 1st get a flashlight and a mechanics mirror. Then locate the SBJ above the parking/emergency brake. on the bottom of the SJB there is a cover. If you can remove the cover then do it. It is Stamped on the other side. Or put the seat back and flip upside down on the floor and look with your mirror and flashlight, it is the only 5 digit number STAMPED on it.
