View 5 RepliesI don't know where the wiring harness is for the front turn signal.
Im able to get to the bulb (from under the front fender) I took the bulb out and I notice the harness is not on the back cap of the bulb....
Where's the harness???? I need to install the load resistors.
This is for the 1157 flashback bulb
A few minutes ago on the way to the cabin, I was using the high beam (Auto mode) and when I push the stalk up to make the right turn, the headlights went off for a sec while the dash lights flashed brightly. Almost made me change my underwear!
When I arrived at the cabin, I tested the stalk and it turned out with loose or something like that.
What was causing that action? It never happen with low beams.
I have a '13 sonata. I really like the turn signals that newer cars are doing on the outside edges of the mirrors. Without swapping everything out with new mirror shells.
Clarification: Note I want to add the lights to the outside front facing of the mirror buckets Not the ones they do have that attaches behind the mirror portion facing back. so oncoming cars can see the signals......
I have a 2012 limited last night while driving when I would turn my turn signal on the headlights would flash off and back on. I tried it a few more times and it did this quite a bit. I do have HID lights which I have had for about a year now but never had an issue before.
View 8 RepliesI noticed going up hill when the RPM's hit around 2100 RPM this morning it looked like my HID's went into a strobe type pulse. They stayed on but got brighter every partial second. Even from a stop if I accelerated with more than 2k RPM the lights flickered.
It's done it for two days, which happened to be in the single digits tempature wise. Do you think it's my alternator or my battery having the issues? Car is a 2012 so I'm leaning more toward battery load issues.
Well, was excited to finally get these things installed and they looked and were working perfectly. Unfortunately after one hour of use, whilst pulling into the garage, the drivers side bulb just cuts out completely. Check all the wiring everything is good, the passenger side is still working perfectly, so I need to determine what the problem would be, because I pulled out the bulb and it is completely in tact.
View 19 RepliesWe have a 2015 Sonata 2.4 Sport that has developed an intermittent turn signal problem. When the left turn signal is turned on, the right signal will blink. When the right signal is turned on, nothing blinks. A new symptom that recently started is sometimes neither turn signal will turn on regardless of the position of the turn signal stalk. I managed to get the car to dealer #1 while the LEFT=RIGHT & RIGHT=NOTHING issue was happening but while troubleshooting it, they ran across an inactivated aftermarket alarm system that dealer #2 that sold me the car had installed. I guess the alarm they install is so cheap, it's not even worth removing if they are unsuccessful in upselling you at the time of purchase.
Since dealer #1 would not troubleshoot any further unless the alarm was removed, I retrieved the car and took it back to the original dealer #2 I bought it from. They removed the alarm and the turn signals started working again, however, this lasted about 2 weeks before the symptoms returned. I booked an appointment at the dealer #1 to bring the car in & half way during the drive there, the turn signals started working again. With nothing to show them, I didn't drop off the car. Now the problem is back. Since it tends to come and go, I have try and time when I can drop the car off so it's happening when they get it.
Jumped in the truck this evening to go to the store and when I stared it up the left turn signal was blinking. Lifted the arm as usual to cancel and it does not cancel. Cannot get the left signal off unless I hold the turn signal up for the right signal. The right signal does not activate, but the left does go out as long as I hold the arm up. Let go and the left starts blinking again. Tried driving around to see if it would cancel and no luck. The bulbs are all good. I checked the relays in the fuse panel and they are good. Dang thing just won't shut off. It is a 2011 F150 SCREW Platinum w/5.0.
View 4 RepliesJust wondering if its possible to have 2015 Sonata SE Headlights to turn Off when turn signal on and turn On when turn signal is Off...
View 6 Replies2013 2.0L Limited with dealer tint. Since new no issues with the radio on the car (XM or FM).. the last few months the signal seems to be continuously getting weaker... stations are now dropping off and only really local stations come in clear.
What could be causing this? Other people and spouses car have no issues picking up the same stations so its not atmospheric. I doubt its the tint, it was done by the dealer and I've had no issues for 3.5 years.
I have installed switchback led signal lights. The right side only turn signal lights will hyper flash until I have driven 10-15mins. and then they operate normally. The guys who installed the system went to a better resistor and nothing changed. My installer says he has never seen this issue before. The driver's side functions properly. both sides have always had resistors.
View 3 RepliesI have a hearing disability called Hyperacusis. if its possible or knows how to disable the turn signal sound as it causes me physical pain in my ears. Its for a 2016 model.
View 4 RepliesWhere the flashers are located? I turned my turn signals on to find the clicking sound, but I couldn't see anything under the dash.
View 9 RepliesHow to deaden the annoying loud ticking!!
View 4 RepliesI am actually looking for the wiring diagram for the plug that connects to the headlight/turn signal stock. I have tried the service website, but I can never seem to find what I am looking for on there.
View 13 RepliesSo I was doing the DRL - Dimming on indication mod with the VAGCOM. I used the following steps:
Go to [09] Central Electronics
Go to Security Access and enter 31347
Go to adaptation channels and set the following (they're quite far down the list):
"Leuchte2SL VLB10-Lichtfunktion G 2" to Blinken links active (besides Phasen)
"Leuchte2SL VLB10-Dimmwert GH 2" to 35
"Leuchte2SL VLB10-Dimming Direction GH 2" to minimize
"Leuchte3SL VRB21-Lichtfunktion G 3" to Blinken rechts aktiv (beide Phasen)
"Leuchte3SL VRB21-Dimmwert GH 3" to 35
"Leuchte3SL VRB21-Dimming Direction GH 3" to minimize
Now my right front turn signal is inop. Checked voltage and swapped bulbs left to right. the bulb is good. No sure what I did. Could I have disabled the blinker somehow? Where is the channel for the right front blinker?
I have a 1997 GMC Sierra. I had a turn signal out in the front driver side. the old bulb was rusted out so i had to remove it with needle nose pliers. replaced bulb, and now i have absolutely no turn signals at all. not even the clicking noise or the turn signal illuminator in dash. I have since replaced the turn signal relay, but that was no luck.
View 2 RepliesI recently purchased a 2001.5 Passat V6. The front left turning signal is not operating, I swapped the right with the left (with housing) and still the left portion is not working. Obviously the problem is not the bulb or bulb housing. Can it be fuse?
View 4 RepliesWhat is the procedure to replace the front DS turn signal? Is there an easy way to replace it or is it just a matter of reaching carefully. This is for the turn signal in the front headlight assembly.
View 3 RepliesMy front left turn signal won't work, the signal on my dash board doesn't work, and the signal in the rear blinks rapidly. but the whole right side is fine. this is aggravating, I have changed the lightbulb in the front and nothing happened. It still doesn't work.
