When I start my 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited the left temperature control knob flashes intermittently for a few seconds. See 17 second video. This has been happening for the past three weeks. What is causing this and how to repair it?
View 3 RepliesRX450h Climate Control ... This is annoying and all my riders complain about the A/C Auto mode on this car. Here is the issue in Auto Mode with the inside temp set at 72 degrees, and the outside temp is cold anywhere from 55 to 65 degrees the A/C always blows cold air into the car. I can never get heat to flow into the car. The manual says that auto controls the a/c flow, fan speed, and vents like auto in almost every car. What is wrong here? The A/C is always on blowing cold air regardless of the temperature set inside the car. To me it seems that the temperature setting for both passenger and driver do not work.

View 9 RepliesExperience a rattle in the window up/down control area when any sort of bass lines come along in the song you're listening to? If I hold the left rear window switch in the up position, the rattle stops, but when I leave it alone, it comes right back! I'm the kind of person that goes nuts when something in the car rattles, so I gotta get it fixed!! A long shot, but is this something the warranty might cover?
View 3 RepliesOn longer trips, over 20+ minutes that the interior temp does not hold the current set climate control temp? If using sync on both sides, the temp in the cabin seems to creep down and you have to keep upping the setting and then reduce it because its too hot.
We have an older 2001 Infiniti I30 and it keeps adjusting to hold the right temp.
I have a 2012 Sonata - My Drivers side Headlight (LO) went out (HI still works). I replaced it w/ not 1, but 2 bulbs (Sylvania XtraVision H7 from auto parts store), and in each instance - the LO does not work, and the HI does. I have read that it could be the B + 2 fuse. IF the fuse is OK, and the wiring shows no wear or rust...
Side note --- The Passenger side headlight - BOTH LO and HI - works OK.
My driver side brake light keeps going out. I replaced the bulb couple of months ago and had to replace it again. Switch the socket? Switch to led bulbs?

I have a 2011 sonata with 72000 Km on it. As I am driving at highway speeds I notice a rattle from the drivers side towards the door. I can't quite locate where but have tried pushing trim and I can't stop it. Took it to the dealer and was told there was nothing wrong and no rattle. On a trip yesterday I noticed the rattle stopped as I braked. So I then applied very light pressure on the brake pedal. So light it did not come off cruise. And the rattle stops. What is the likely cause? I want to be prepared with some ideas when I take it back to the dealer.
View 4 RepliesI bought a 6000K HID kit from Xenon Supply, the one specifically designed for the Sonata and I'm having a few issues. The driver side headlight "bounces" when I go over rough roads. I haven't really noticed anything from the passenger side. I took the driver side bulb out, re installed it and made sure it was secure, but the same problem exists. The bulb is moving around under the retaining clip when I drive over rough roads.
Also, now its blowing fuses. I took the entire kit out and reinstalled it, checked all the connections, but for some reason the kit is blowing the 20 amp fuse that came with the kit.
I got in my 2011 Sonata today to go to work and my driver side door won't lock either electrically or manually. The other 3 doors lock and unlock just fine. I'm really concerned because I can't even lock it manually by pressing the lock in. How to fix this anomaly?

View 10 RepliesI have Shark Racing type 2 rear bumper reflectors. The drivers side only comes on now when I lock the car. How I can check for power to the reflector itself to make sure all is fine at the reflector. I suspect the problem will in inside the reflector. I am sure it would be a pain to try to fix one internally.

View 2 RepliesI currently have a 2011 Sonata. The drivers side low beam head light does not work. I thought it was the bulb, so I went and purchased a H7 bulb. When I replaced it with a new bulb it still did not work. The high beam works fine. So I thought I bought a bad bulb. I then tried the bulb i bought on the passenger side and low and behold the low beam worked. I then put my old bulb that I thought was bad on the passenger side and it worked.
I swapped every light bulb on the drivers side (the new one and my old ones I already had), and none of the low beams would work. I course I did move the switch to the correct position inside the card and no go. The DayTime running lights work fine, I just cant get the low beam to work on the drivers side.
I tried checking the fuses to see if i had a blown fuse and no luck. I could not find a blown fuse. Is there a fuse somewhere for the low beam light, if so I cannot find it anywhere in any manual that I have searched. I have also heard that it may be the Body Control Module.
Having problem when driving on the highway? Today I noticed the side view mirror glass shakes and moves quite a bit, while the passenger mirror appears to be rock solid. Any easy fix? I have 15k on the car - would this be something covered by warranty? 2013
View 2 RepliesWhenever my car go over a bump or uneven road, it causes a thumping noise in the rear driver. I have ultra racing rear sway.
I have re-lubricated the bushing, and changed the oem end links to moog.
Have little wind noise on the driver side door up by the top. My wife's 2010 elantra has it and dealer couldn't hear it.
View 5 RepliesSo about a 2 weeks ago my drivers side headlight went out. I figured it was the bulb (even though I had just replaced them about a month prior). Got new bulbs and nothing. I checked the fuse and it was not blown. I made sure the electrical connections to the bulb weren't dirty and were connected properly.
Then last night my passenger low beam went out. I had changed the bulb when the other side went out 2 weeks ago. Its still brand new and not blown. I did the same thing, the fuse is not blown and the electrical connectors are clean and secure.
I just took my car into the dealer about a week before the driver's light went out and did their "Major Service". They did tell me that I would need to replace my battery soon. Could this be the cause?
