Recently, i realized the doors would automatically unlock after sitting in garage or parking lot for a night. In the beginning, i was thinking maybe that was my fault that i didn't lock it. However, I double double double checked every time when i left my car. the next day, it was unlocked.

View 5 RepliesWhen approaching the car from any direction, if I am within a couple of feet of a door, the door automatically unlocks. It's wicked cool and I love that it does this but....I don't think it's supposed to.
I only have the only FOB that works (I have another but either the battery is dead or the fob is dead) so I can't test to see if it does it with both.
,I looked through the owners manual, and searched Google but I don't see anything saying this is something that is supposed to happen. The doors don't lock automatically, and if I press the door button to lock the car it doesn't unlock again. It only seems to unlock if I walk up to it locked and stand there for a few seconds.
I'm not sure this is by design but the buttons for sunroof and garage door are not illuminating at night. I would like to know if your vehicles have the same behavior. I try to look for any info in the manual but can't find anything. I thought there would be a switch somewhere that turns this on and off but I can't find it anywhere either. My brother-in-law has a 2012 Toyota Sienna van and these buttons do light up at night while my 2012 RX350 does not. I find it interesting for a luxury vehicle.
View 13 RepliesI have a 2011 premium and I just went out in the garage for something and happens to hear the compressor running. It turned off after about 10sec but I haven't driven the car for 8 hours. Does it level itself all the time even when not running? Do I have a leak or could it just be that it's now getting cold and was warmer today?
View 6 RepliesI am getting a terrible creaking noise when the car is cold after sitting all night . I've tried to isolate the area where the noise is coming from, but it varies from side to side. I have shot all movable parts with PB Blaster and it appears to work somewhat . I never noticed it until the cold weather. Where to look maybe engine cradle mount areas? 2010 Sonata 2.4 GLS
View 6 RepliesI have a 2011 F-150 with the v-6 automatic. The truck has just under 45,000 miles on it. Couple of times I have started it up in the morning to head to work, and when I put it in gear(fwd or reverse) it seems to slip at first. It does it just the one time, then it will be fine. It only happens in the morning after sitting for the night and when it is cooler(Arizona here so hasn't gotten much cooler than the 50's at night so far). I need to take the truck in for another issue, but thought I would ask on here first.
View 14 RepliesI have a Camry 2011 LE (US) and it is giving me this problem for last few weeks. The doors lock fine with the key fob and the lock button on the doors however only driver side door unlocks when i try to unlock it.
The car does not has any starting problem and it still does not work when the car is started and moving. I have even tried a friend's battery to double check if its a battery issue but it does not seems like its that problem since my car starts just fine.
I have been searching on the internet for the problem and read somewhere it could be a Relay problem and i was able to find two relays in the fuse box. But I just don't know if its legit to try replacing the Relay and if yes which relay control doors.
I have just purchased a 2013 Sonata and the interior lights (dome, vanity, etc.) will not come on at night when you unlock and enter the car. Yes, I have checked the switch and that is not the issue. It works during the day and has been tested at the dealership twice since I purchased within the last week. This issue only happens at night. If I switch the actual dome switch to on, the interior lights will come on after 5-6 minutes when I am in the car. Very frustrated at this point as the dealer cannot recreate the issue, but the issue obviously exists.

How much lower does this body kit (more specifically the front lip) make the car? Does the kit go more outwards or downwards?
I can't be able to fill the gas for my Hyundai sonata 2014 SE and pump has been shuts off automatically 2 times.I tried to fill from different pump and happened same again. This is a new car with 9 MONTHS old.
View 2 RepliesI've been trying to figure out why the dome interior lights are not lighting up when a door is open, etc. The only time those lights come on is when i physically push the light in. I thought it could have been a fuse, however, I replaced the 10 amp room LP fuse, but still nothing.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2013 Sonata GLS. Something I noticed (for the first time). If I leave the car unlocked and I stand in the proximity of the car, after about a minute or so, the lights will flash and lock the doors automatically (without me pushing the fob button). At first I thought the button was being pressed accidentally, but I proved myself wrong by taking the keys out my pocket and laying them on the garage workbench. Is this normal ?

In a previous posting, I mentioned that my Camry was hard to start after sitting in the garage for 2-3 days. Dealer "diagnosed" (guessed?) it as a weak battery, tho the cranking speed seemed pretty normal (peppy)to me. My first thought when it would not start was the fuel system (fuel pump) or dirty ignitors.
I asked my regular mechanic for an opinion on cleaning and he pretty much said "don't" unless there isa specific problem (eg engine check lite).
Could I hear from the group whether ignitor cleaning ($210) as a "preventive maintenance" is a good idea? I am not about to disassemble the throttle body or some such and do it myself, but I AM OK with adding acan to my gas tank, if it won't hurt and can work.
I recently bought a 2012 used Corolla LE from a dealer and i've noticed that when I drive at night the lights don't turn on automatically. They daylight running ones are one, but the actual headlights used for night-time use don't come on automatically. I'm able to turn the on automatically by just turning the switch, but I'm just curious why they aren't turning on automatically. I mean they're supposed to right, since its a standard feature nowadays?
View 14 RepliesI just purchased an '02 Camry. All doors lock with remote and interior door lock buttons. Only driver door unlocks with remote and door lock buttons. I have seen other posts with this issue, but not a clear solution.

After depressing and releasing the pedal a few times the lights go off, then 2 or 3 seconds later, they're back on even when the pedal is released. This happened all of a sudden. I'll pull the switch in the morning and test it, but what else could it be but the switch, right?

View 6 RepliesI have a 13 Sonata GLS completely stock and today I noticed that the whole right side parking lights and tag lights are not working. I changed out the bulbs and no luck. I also tried looking for a fuse that controls them and no luck. I also disconnected the battery to try and reset and nothing.
View 1 RepliesMy wife has a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with about 75K miles and the rear parking lights will not turn off after I turn the car off and make sure all illumination is set to the off position. It completely drained her battery over night. I have done some research on here and think it is probably a relay in the engine compartment fuse box. Whenever I pull the STOP LP 15 Amp fuse (listed on page 7-57 in the manual) the lights finally turn off but that's obviously a temporary fix since I won't be able to convince my wife to do that every time she turns the car off.
View 3 RepliesI think the actuator for my driver's rear door is on the fritz. Basically it fails to lock/unlock automatically like the other three do. The other three work fine - to include the passenger rear door.
Again - if I manually push the lock it works as it should (both lock and unlock) - but it will not unlock with the FOB. I removed the door panel and everything looks good - I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the inner (black) panel so I can get to the actuator.
I can hear the actuator trying to unlock it some times - I can hear a vibration coming from the door when it tries. But again - the passenger rear works fine. I think the biggest thing I need to do now is to get behind the inner door module (black trim) to see what is going on - but I can't figure out how.
