View 3 Replies2012 Passat SE ... Where the fuel filter location is? I've changed the fuel filter on many other vehicles and know that it should bee right in front of the rear passenger tire..however I was looking for it to change it the other day and I could not find it. I loosened the plastic covering on the passenger side in the rear and didn't see the filter. Looking for a picture of Gas engine Passat that is 2012 or newer??
View 9 RepliesWhere is the fuel tank air filter located? If you will look in your maint. log or owners manual for the four cyl. under emmissions control you will find the fuel tank air filter to be inspected at 15000 miles and changed at 30000 miles.

View 1 RepliesMy 2012 Sonata has the erratic fuel level indication. I've read enough posts here to pretty much assume I need to replace the sending unit.
I could go with OEM, but it seems this has plagued Hyundais for many years and across many models.
While I have the (fuel pump, filter & sender) assembly out (of the tank), when (miles) is it recommended to replace the fuel filter?
Where can I locate the fuel filter on my 09 2.4L automatic Camry.

View 5 RepliesWhere the fuel filter for a 1997 ford aerostar is located? I have been told it is under the driver side near the front tire. I cannot find it anywhere. Is it near the middle by the transmission? I would like to see a schematic also?
View 4 RepliesWhere it is V8? I did a search on here and came up empty. I haven't physically looked for it on the vehicle yet. I'll be changing oil this weekend and I'd like to change the fuel filter while I'm at it.
Almost forgot, it has the 4.6L V8.
Would like to change the fuel filter on my 04 F150. I have about 86K miles on it and not sure how long it has been since changed because I bought the truck with 75K on it. Is this easy job? Also where is the filter located.
View 5 RepliesMy fuel filter is fine as far as I am aware. Car has 200k miles, and car does feel lower on power due to age and mileage.
I am curious if it is wise to change the fuel filter. Did a search on some threads and it seems like most recommend against it.
Changed my oil today and check the air filter. I noticed that there is oil on the air filter, so I'm thinking the PCV valve is bad (car has 136,000 miles). I want to check it but I'm not sure where it's located. Where it's located (pictures would be great) and how involved it is to replace?
View 4 RepliesWanted to replace my fuel filter today, read that you need to disconnect either a fuse or a relay to knock out the pump, let the engine run until it stops to release pressure.
Pulled the fuse and the engine ran rough, but then settled down and continued to operate. Tried to pull the relay, it would wiggle but not come out. Tried to remove another one, also locked in, despite having strong hands I could not get it to come out. Even tried a pliers, but I know better than to use heavy force on a part that won't budge as I will break things. Is there a special tool to unplug those? Ford is usually good about having a release latch, could not see one.
In my Lincoln repair book it said to unplug the fuel safety button in the trunk, might try that. However, in the future how do you get the relay switches out if I want to do any electrical repairs?
I know where the filter is, i know how to bleed off the pressure. Im wondering if those clips are easy to slide off to remove the filter from the lines?
View 7 RepliesHow often in miles (mostly highway and city) would you change the following:
1.Baldwin spin on fuel filter added with hutch mod
2. Napa diy 6637 air filter mod with no sleeve over it, just the paper element
3. Stock fuel bowl filter after having added a pre-filter (previously mentioned in #1)
Looking for pics of how to change the cabin filter?
View 8 RepliesAfter last oil change the car started leaking oil from the oil filter area. I went to the dealer a few times and finally they replaced the oil filter (that's what they told me) and it stopped. Fast forward to today....
I changed the oil again and remembering the last time I wiped the oil filter dry and made sure it's not leaking. Today I drove to work and when I got here my oil filter was wet and oily.. so I took a few pics with my phone. Need to identify where this leak is coming from?
Have no Fan on Rad running. Cant seem to locate the temp sensor to test it? What is the location?
View 1 RepliesI am looking for an answer to changing my 2007 Sonata fuel tank air filter that is mentioned in my 30,000 mile maintenance schedule. Is this an easy change or does my car have to be taken to the dealer for this?
