View 1 RepliesWhere exactly is the temperature sender/sensor is located?
View 3 RepliesWhere the temp sensor for the rear view mirror is located. My truck is a 2011 Ranger with the 4.0 liter, AC, automatic and 4x4. I think it is somewhere by the headlights but not sure.
View 6 RepliesOil leak.... I can not locate the MAF sensor in my 2012 gls 2.4l sonata. I followed from the front tube intake through the air box to the throttle body and i do not see one. I also have the service manual and no mention of said sensor!
View 14 RepliesLooking for a picture or description where this sensor is located? I assume very close to the crank pulley, but I'm hoping I will not need to remove the crank pulley to gain access to this sensor. I have a 2011 Sonata, 2.4L engine.
View 3 RepliesWhere the Coolant Temperature Sensor is located in the R32? Need to replace it. I searched but luck so far.
View 23 RepliesWhere is this located? This is the sensor that reads the outside air temp for inside display. Looked between radiator and bumper cover pretty thoroughly.
View 4 RepliesWhat is the location of the Coolant Temperature Sensor? I search but I couldn't find a picture or diagram for our car.
View 2 RepliesMy 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe V6 is giving out a P0118 code, and the "freeze-frame" data reports a -40F for the coolant temperature. That doesn't make sense so perhaps the sensor is faulty or perhaps the sensor connector is loose?
I'd like to take a look at the coolant temperature sensor but I cannot find it. I have scoured hmaservice, hyunda-forums but all the various pics are still not clear enough for me to actually find the sensor. I have seen all the online pics from Hyundai but I can't get my head around exactly where the sensor is - the pics are either too zoomed in or so many things have been disconnected for the purposes of taking the picture I can't get my bearings.
I was just wondering where the interior temperature sensor of the hvac system is located?
View 2 RepliesWife's car threw a p0711 code. It says temp sensor failure or whatever. I found the part on rockauto for 22 bucks but that's not the issue. I've tried searching about this and I seem to find some stuff about elantras and sonatas. I can't seem to find anything specific to a accent. I've read that it's inside the transmission which is fine I've changed valves before and such on old rwd transmissions. But some things I find say it's on the bottom and some say the side. Also wiring is mentioned pretty often with service bulletins.
View 28 RepliesMy truck has a bit of an interesting trait. Unless it's just about freezing, my transmission is just about always at operating temperature. If it's 50*F outside and I start the truck, the Trans temp is smack dab in the middle. If it's 30*F outside it starts just a little above cold then is "warmed up" when I drive it down my short street block, which ain't right.
All the rest of the time, it's always reading middle of the bar temperature. My old 5.4L never did this. My 7.3L does. Best I can tell is it's a fault in the temperature sensor for the transmission. I don't have a scan gauge yet to get the readings but will be getting one. Just need to know where the sensor is at so I can have a starting point.
I took my 2011 Santa Fe, 3.5 liter, in for the tail light water thing, and a cracked fitting down near the thermostat (all warranty). I bought a rad flush while they were in there.
I picked up the car, drove for 1/2 hour and got a CEL. Plugged in my code reader and got three PO198's, oil temperature sensor. The dealer was closed by then, so I left it in their lot and will call them tomorrow. Their repair performance to date has been poor, and that's being polite. How a rad flush could cause a PO198? Could they have forgot to plug the sensor in? Is it located anywhere near the thermostat housing? Did they not get the air out of the rad, and maybe the engine did get hot?
Replacing the knock sensor on a 2009-2010 Sonata with a 2.4l? Where exactly is it located and what has to be removed?
View 2 RepliesI have a 2011 toyota camry. 3.5L v6. I have code p0157. I know my car has 4 o2 sensors, but I am not sure which one to buy. Where this o2 sensor is located, and which one to purchase. A part number would be very useful.
View 3 RepliesI have been getting a P0011 error code. Changed the OCV but the code continues. I'm going to try replacing the CMPS but am not quite sure of the location on the 2007 Sonata GLS. Looking for any pics of the location or a description?
View 1 Replies2014 Sonata Limited - I have to press the clock button to see outside temperature when my Nav screen is on. Consequently the Nav screen is the default screen after "Agree". Am I missing something? All other screens i.e radio, phone etc. has the outside temp at the bottom of the screen. Is the Outside Temp displayed anywhere when the Nav screen is on is pressing the clock button the only way to get it for 5 seconds?
View 8 RepliesI need a replacement driver side door, towing mirror for a 2011 Ford F250 SuperDuty with turn signal, heated, electrically adjustable manual-extend and manual fold options. The truck VIN number is 1FT7X2B67BEC96261. The truck also has an Outside-Air-Temperature indication which is what I'm not sure about. It is my understanding that the Outside-Air-Temperature sensor may be in the side mirror. Looking for any info on the temperature sensor located on this truck? I found an aftermarket mirror while I can not afford Ford. However, the aftermarket mirror ad says it does not have Outside-Air-Temperature and I would like to keep that working.
View 1 RepliesAfter a cold spell this past winter 3 dots appeared on my car's temperature gauge LCD display. The dots are also displayed when the ignition is turned off and a door is opened .
View 11 RepliesIs there a way to change the outside temperature info display from Fahrenheit to Celsius. I have a 2011 Sonata LTD?
View 20 RepliesI've removed the splash guard(s) and can see a bunch of different thick hoses. I have no clue what I'm supposed to be looking for in order to drain the coolant. What I'm looking for (picture would be great or a really good description).
