Is it possible to play any videos in the navigation screen? Thinking of playing videos off my camera or phone.

View 6 RepliesI just bought a 2010 LX and tonight I discovered that I may be able to play a digit copy DVD. So, the kids jumped in the car and inserted one of their movies(not Blu Ray) and we can only hear it. All we see in the video box is a blue screen.
View 5 RepliesToday my Media system rebooted twice while playing a CD...
The first time it happened was right on start of the car. Was stuck at the confirm "you know how to drive" screen then it rebooted and came up fine.
The next time was at the end of my drive went to lower the volume. The volume bar updated, but the actual volume of the system didn't change. The system then rebooted and came back up fine.
The navigation screen keeps rebooting - Shows Lexus logo then warning message, waits a few seconds and then repeats. So radio, navigation and all others functions are not working any more....
View 5 RepliesI've had my 2015 GX 460 since April 18th. Since I've had it the navigation screen has frozen on me 5 times with 830 miles on it.
Every time it froze on me all the center console buttons will not work. The Audio, Nav, Climate & Home button's DO NOT WORK! Also the buttons on the steering wheels won't work as well. The only time I can get the navigation to unfreeze is by shutting off the car.
The 5th time it froze I held down the "Power/Vol" button down and the navigation screen turn black and restarted itself while the vehicle was in motion.
Just had my 2015 ES350 for a week. Today when I was driving on the highway, all the sudden the audio display screen (no navigation) was turned off by itself, but I still hear the sounds from the speakers. all the buttons were not working. after few minutes, the display system seems reboot itself, then it was frozen at start screen with only shows the Lexus logo on it. until I pulled over and restarted the car, it was back to normal.
View 5 RepliesWe just picked up a new 2016 Sonata and we just noticed the SD card for navigation is in the user manual. I'm OK with inserting it myself but I'm a little about breaking something on Day 1. My concern is how to remove the SD card cover, do you just snap it out?
View 4 RepliesWhen we approach our home, we hear a chime. Besides being totally unnecessary, it is irritating. How can I stop that particular chime? A chime when you should make a turn or a chime when you arrive at a POI is OK but I don't need it for HOME. Any solutions?
View 5 RepliesMy '15 sonata Limited w/ Tech package has been having some issues appear with the clock on the Navigation unit.
A few weeks back, I noticed that the Date/time display across the top of the navigation screen was showing May 28. When I dug down into the clock settings, it was pulling the date May 28, year 2035 from the GPS signal. Each day it would increment to the next day.
Then last week, the date and time would not load across the screen at all. Only the normal blue bar appears across the screen without any text or numbers.
With the Daylight Savings time change over the weekend, I tried to change the time on the LCD clock in the middle of the dashboard, the clock settings are grayed out and I can not change anything.
I already hit the reset button next to the knob on the dash, and also pulled the 15A fuse but neither one worked to reset anything.
Just bought a Sonata '15 2.0t sport. 8/10 times I start the car with plenty of gas, a message pops up on the nav screen saying the fuel is low and asking me whether I would like to navigate to the nearest gas station.
View 1 RepliesThere is what appears to be an icon on my touch display that resembles the battery icon on my smart phone. Currently is has one red bar lit up. I have not been able to find anywhere in the owners manual what this battery icon means and what to do when it is red.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2012 Camry LE and I always use bluetooth connectivity between my iPhone 6S and the car. I use an online radio app called "Tambura" (similar to pandora but something which caters to Indian Hindi songs). Now I also use my phone as a GPS navigation device on need basis. The problem I am facing is that, whenever I am listening to music using the radio app in my camry's speakers with volume on around 15-20, whenever the Google maps voice says something like "take next exit" or whatever, it is almost inaudible. I expect the sound to be on same level as my music but that does not happen.
View 3 RepliesI have the C2 with the standard CD player/radio/Bluetooth streaming, and I'm curious about the display of track information. When I plug my iPod in via USB, the radio screen is able to display track information, as expected.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have been able to stream from Spotify over bluetooth, but it will not display the track information. Is there a way to have the radio screen show text for the track currently playing in Spotify?
If not, are there any streaming Android apps that can display track information?
My radio just quit playing sound. The fuses are good, the monitor works, the nav works, the radio display works. But I ain't got no sound.
View 7 RepliesAccording to the navigation manual (attached), the navigation screen should go to the home screen within 5 seconds. But my IS never goes to the home screen without pressing the home button, but it always shows the full screen map. I tried many different things including "Auto Screen Change" setting but nothing seems to work.

I have a 2010 Prius Five and would like to use my nav screen to output video from my iPhone or other devices.
View 3 RepliesI would like to know if the Navigation system in Camry 2013 SE could play any video files. Would it recognize any DVD's or cd's with video format files.?
View 3 RepliesI recently bought a 2008 F-250 lariat and it came with the single disk am/fm radio, i am wondering, can put the navigation touch screen radio in its place?
View 2 RepliesI have a 2011 F-250 Xlt that came with the standard radio/CD player and I wanted to replace it with a OEM Navigation Unit. I was going to have FORD install it once I can get my hands on one.
My question is:
1) Do I (just) need the head unit, or will I need wiring harness and other accessories? (the truck has sync, had xm radio)
2) Will the steering wheel buttons still function.
3) Is there anything I should know before attempting this
4) Will there be any repercussions.
I recently purchased a 2015 Camry XSE on November 23rd. I have the Entune Audio Plus system in my vehicle. The first thing I noticed while driving home is the music I was playing through Bluetooth was changing pitch constantly. The closest thing I can relate it to is a cassette tape being slowed down with dead batteries. It's brutal. My mom bought a 2015 Rav4 on the same day as me. For the past month I've been doing nothing but trial and error. Here is what I have come up with.
My radio while playing bluetooth skips, speeds up and down (pitch change) and gets really bad static. Also, when I use the steering wheel controls to change the song it changes the song INSTANTLY. In my mom's Rav4 and my friends 2015 Corrolla, it plays for about 1.5 seconds before changing to the next song. This is the buffer being played out. Mine doesn't create a buffer and is playing the data stream in real time. If any interference happens or the clock rates change it gets reflected in the pitch.
Now, I called Toyota and explained it to them. They had me read what audio version I had in my car. It says "0744". It listed two items, Audio and Operating System. The rep on the phone was taken back and said NOTHING was installed on that radio. What is supposed to be listed is bluetooth drivers, kernel and a couple other things. My audio version should say DU.60.74. She told me to take it to my dealer and they will update it through USB and it only takes a couple minutes.
I just picked up my gs 350 fsport. having fun.. noticed that when i plug in my ipad to the usb port it recognizes it as an ipod. but.. here is the question.. it will play sound of music files no problem and but on the videos it only plays sound and give a message that device not video or something similar to that. Does that mean that some devices can be input through the usb to play video?
