I've had dimples appear in my roof. I'm not sure if I just didn't notice at first but I did have two in one corner of the roof, now I've got two more in the opposite corner of my roof.
There are no scratches anywhere. I don't think anything has hit or bounced on the roof. No hail in my area since I got it.
Cutting to the chase i m planning to buy new sonata with panoramic roof but I've read at many places that any car with panoramic roof rattles alot ... i really love panoramic roof but after seeing so many issues with panoramic roof i am very disappointed .... is that really true. .. and I cannot withstand rattles while driving at all nowadays i have chevy trail blazer and i only hate it because it rattles ALOT...i don't want to hear any more rattle specially in a brand new vehicle.
View 33 RepliesI just bought my car a few weeks back in July. I noticed that the seats appeared to be hotter with the A/C on. It turned out, I was right. With the seat heaters OFF and A/C ON, the seats would get hot.

I picked up a 2015 gs350 f sport in atomic silver / black. I'm excited to pull out of the parking lot and get on the road! Yeah, not so much. As I take a turn onto the road I notice it's very sluggish, like starting off in third gear sluggish. I eventually get up to speed and wander if the floor mat is stuck under the pedal or something, whatever. anything but the car is broken.
I eventually get up to speed. Everything is fine. I don't accelerate hard because the the car only has 12 miles on it. Otherwise it drives like it should. Off the freeway and at a stoplight with an incline. Start to go, same thing. I pull over, turn the ignition off and back on. Car is fine.
So later that night (43 miles on the ODO) CEL and Trac off lights up. Car will not get up over third gear. Make it another 2 miles home and park it. I'm pretty distraught.
Took it to the dealership, don't know what they are but 2 fault codes came up. One for a shift solenoid and another having to do with the torque converter. Under 100 miles on the ODO!
So I'm with a red ES loaner car. Never seen it on a brand new car.
2015 prius solar roof does it drain the battery when the sun is not out and the cooling fan is running, not AC?

View 3 RepliesI am at Hyundai dealership right now, I really wish I don't need to come back for roof noise again, the noise made me feel ' I don't give a about this car anymore', new york has most freaking terrible roads, there are sharp and deep potholes everywhere, causing the car making noise like shooting ak 47, so pissed, i was so outraged and The consequent is I scratched the rim when Cornering, any easy and low budget fix? I would change my rim in two years, but not now.
View 15 RepliesI've been driving this Sonata 2015 Limited and while going very light on the pedal in eco mode it is barely hitting 18 to 20mpg. I find that very odd, and presume something is either calculating wrong or the car has an issue.

Seeing issues with A/C not getting cold? I thought it felt a little warmer than it should, and then my wife got in my car and instantly called it out, and now it is pretty close to room temp. air....Could it be low pressure in the lines? Or the fluid itself (freeon...? =s) ?
View 10 RepliesHere is a quick video I shot the other day. This is the second time this has happened where the Cruise just won't engage. There is no error showing other than the message that comes up when I try to engage the cruise (Cruise on, press switch to the bottom to set.)
I've seen this same error if I try to Resume speed without having previously set the speed, but this was not the Resume being selected, but the Set.

Variable-Displacement Compressor (no clutch, anyway, so that's what I'm assuming)
Is it OKAY to drive the car without refrigerant to circulate lubricating oil, or am I going to be looking at a new compressor in a few years?
A week ago, a grasshopper put a hole in the condenser. Yes, a friggen BUG, complete with bug guts and wings stuck around the tiny dent and pinhole. I'm arguing with Hyundai over the warranty coverage, they say "outside forces" and I'm saying "defective part or crappy engineering"...
The dealer's service writer said there would be no problem driving the car while we wait for parts, as long as we didn't turn the AC on. Okay, it's not summer anymore, but doesn't the compressor want to be on in DEFROST setting? Supposedly the system won't try and turn on the compressor if it's low on charge, but...being a variable displacement compressor with no clutch...
I bought some new bulbs for the headlights and tried to install them today. I couldn't get the bulb to come out. The manual doesn't really show how to get it out. I know how to take the wire out and that;s about it. How to take the headlight out.
View 1 RepliesIn the clock settings, GPS is on, Daylight Savings Time is on, but the time is incorrect. The only way to set the clock is to turn GPS off and then you can set the clock manually.
If the GPS is working properly in these cars, certainly the clock should be set correctly. Why this is happening.
Has felt what seems to be a potential sticking gas pedal? When I floor the gas it clicks and almost feels like it wants to catch or snag. It hasn't yet but just curious.
View 18 RepliesSo I noticed that my interior lights do not come on at all when I unlock the car, stop the car, turn it off, etc. If I push the map lamps directly they come on and stay on but don't shut off when driving. I have the front door lamp set on the in and out positions but nothing makes the interior lights come on unless I push the map lamps or the front room lamp button. Am I missing something here? Or is it possible the front door lamp switch is not working?
View 3 RepliesTrunk not open all the way when using the button on the remote, inside the car, or the smart sensor? It is pretty useless if your hands are full and the trunk opens a few inches and you still have to manually open it the rest of the way.
View 5 RepliesStrange thing happened today. Sitting at a light today, the car started to stall out and no amount of gas kept it going and it died. Tried restarting twice, it started and stalled again. The third attempt I immediately put it in drive and hit the accelerator and it took off like normal.
Just under 24k miles, absolutely no signs of issues before or after. Had a little under 1/4 tank at the time and it was a cold humid morning after a very rainy day yesterday. Possibly water in the gas or a result of the damp weather? Always use top tier gas and no CEL's or hesitation
I read in another post that when that person put their car in reverse, the back up camera came on, and the outside mirrors pointed down to assist with backing. My outside mirrors dont do this and I havent found anything in the settings to enable this. Is this only available with certain trim levels? Do mirrors move when you put your car in reverse?

View 8 RepliesWe just picked up a new 2016 Sonata and we just noticed the SD card for navigation is in the user manual. I'm OK with inserting it myself but I'm a little about breaking something on Day 1. My concern is how to remove the SD card cover, do you just snap it out?
