I purchase a pre-certified Hyundai Sonata 2015 from Rockland Hyundai just 2 weeks ago but I didn't pay attention that the climate control has no display, the heater and the AC work fine but no display.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata that has the digital display for the climate control- which i am assuming is the auto climate control system that is talked about on here frequently. The problem is that the fuse for the climate control system continually blows, causing the display and all controls for the climate control system, to stop working. Put a new fuse it, blows again.
View 1 RepliesRecently noticed that the automatic climate control on my 2006 Sonata stopped working. The temperature readout still shows desired interior temperature but nothing happens when dial is turned all the way up or down. When in manual mode, the heater fan will adjust faster or slower when dial is turned so I still get heat/ac but only by dialing manually. If I switch to automatic mode, the fan will operate in whatever setting it was in when in manual mode. What part do I need to replace in all likelihood and how hard is it to replace?
View 1 RepliesOn longer trips, over 20+ minutes that the interior temp does not hold the current set climate control temp? If using sync on both sides, the temp in the cabin seems to creep down and you have to keep upping the setting and then reduce it because its too hot.
We have an older 2001 Infiniti I30 and it keeps adjusting to hold the right temp.
My battery in my 97 Bonneville recently died and I had it replaced, but soon after it being replaced, I noticed that my clock and climate control display weren't showing when the car was running. Everything still works, but I don't get the display.
The clock/radio display does show when the ignition is in the Accessory position after being in the On position, but the climate control display never shows.
A friend suggested it could have been something with the TheftLock system needing a code, but that doesn't seem to be the case because the radio still works and I don't ever see the radio display 'LOC'.
Could it be a blown fuse or something? Which fuses do I check?
I have a 2000 Chrysler Concorde LXi. It is having an intermittent climate control display problem. It will be lit for weeks/months, and then without warning, the display will disappear. In the past, a smack of the display would cause it to reappear or a press on the lower left of the panel below the display would make the display reappear. Seems as though there is a loose connection. Fuse ok. How to remove the climate control bezel or get to the connections?
View 1 RepliesI just bought a 2007 and my Multi Information Display does not work properly on the climate control screen or information screen. ie when you press temp up or down buttons it sometimes works and when you want to change the fan speed and press medium it goes to low. On the information screen no matter what you select it goes to Trip information screen. However the Audio screen works perfectly.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2008 LS360L with 4-zone climate control. For whatever reason, the rear seat controls and display do not work for climate control. The controls still work for radio, rear seat adjustment and window shades, but climate functions are unoperable.
Additionally, the 4-zone buttons on the nav touchscreen are now missing in the climate menu. There used to be left / right passenger settings and then a button to switch to rear seat settings. These options have all disappeared from the menu.
I can press the 4-zone physical button on dash and manually change temperature settings for driver or passenger by pressing physical driver / passenger temperature up / down buttons.
The only thing I can attribute to this is I had the dealer do a map upgrade to the nav system. All other features / functions work, but the timing is somewhat suspect... They really do not believe this upgrade caused the problem.
Are there hidden menus I may have hit to deactivate this feature?
Just bought the truck and when remote starting it i noticed it is turning on the heat. Having read a bunch of different posts it sounds like the climate control would be set to automatic which i would like to have it just use were i set my controls. Problem is i do not have any options on the instrument cluster for climate control and no auto button the the heater controls themselves. I would think that means i do not have automatic climate control but it is doing it. How to turn it off?

View 14 RepliesI've been driving this Sonata 2015 Limited and while going very light on the pedal in eco mode it is barely hitting 18 to 20mpg. I find that very odd, and presume something is either calculating wrong or the car has an issue.

View 7 RepliesMy 2009 Sonata Limited always has the front window defroster come on in cooler temps when the climate control is set to AUTO. This is aggravating since it shouldn't do that. I took it in for service last year at this time and they didn't find anything wrong and I gave up arguing with the dealer about it.
Is there a sensor or something that is out of adjustment? It comes one when the temp is about 40F or lower and you just start the car after it's been sitting cold. I don't notice it so much when I am out on multiple errands.
Another thing that I notice is that I can never just turn the fans on for air circulation when the temps are moderate, not needing A/C or heat. If it turn the fan on, it always seems to blow cold air feeling like the A/C is on, even if it is not in AUTO mode. I complained about the same thing and the dealer said the unit is operating OK.
There is what appears to be an icon on my touch display that resembles the battery icon on my smart phone. Currently is has one red bar lit up. I have not been able to find anywhere in the owners manual what this battery icon means and what to do when it is red.
View 2 RepliesMy wife's '98 Aurora, she said she heard a loud click and suddenly lost the heated seats, tach, speedometer, fuel & temp gauges, DIC, and climate control. I check the 60A fuse under the rear seat, it was OK. Replaced it with another 60A, no difference. Everything else electrical is still functioning.
View 1 RepliesThe climate control in my 1995 lincoln continental will stop working on an intermittent basis but only in the summer. It usually seems to happen on very hot days after running a few errands. It only lasts 2-15 minutes and then operates normally for days or weeks. This has been happening for years. Nothing shows up on the mechanic's computer as respects diagnostic codes.
View 2 RepliesOn the way to work this morning my dash lights went out. At the same time, all my climate controls stopped working, as well as the wiper controls. The blinkers didn't work either. However, the radio and MFD were fine. The windows were frosting up fast (I live in Canada) but it's only a 15 min. drive to work so while trying to hold my breath, I was able to make it work OK. I called the dealership and they said to bring to the car right away. On the way to the dealership, the overhead console lights stayed lit and could not be shut off. When I got to the dealership and pulled my key out of the ignition the overhead console lights wouldn't shut off as well as the radio and my the lock doors/security arming on my key fob would not engage.
Later, on in the morning they said they think the problem is in a module possibly in the steering column. What is going on with my car?
My '15 sonata Limited w/ Tech package has been having some issues appear with the clock on the Navigation unit.
A few weeks back, I noticed that the Date/time display across the top of the navigation screen was showing May 28. When I dug down into the clock settings, it was pulling the date May 28, year 2035 from the GPS signal. Each day it would increment to the next day.
Then last week, the date and time would not load across the screen at all. Only the normal blue bar appears across the screen without any text or numbers.
With the Daylight Savings time change over the weekend, I tried to change the time on the LCD clock in the middle of the dashboard, the clock settings are grayed out and I can not change anything.
I already hit the reset button next to the knob on the dash, and also pulled the 15A fuse but neither one worked to reset anything.
My climate control dial lights have stopped working for some odd reason.. They dont light up anymore.
I checked the fuses, they all seem to be ok (is there even a fuse for these lights?) How do i go about fixing this problem?
I just bought a 2005 Elantra GT 5 speed. Nice car but the dash lights (including the radio and climate control) don't work. All fuses are good the rheostat (dimmer) is fine. Checked the continuity from the dimmer to the back of the dash instrument panel all checked OK. Light bulbs are good.
Basically it appears that I am getting power to the panel lights, yet they don't work. The radio appears to be stock with a factory plug. All other lights and electrical gadgets work fine. I can not find a schematic to check grounding.
