Sonata NF (2006-10) :: Stalled At Stop - Fault Code P0601

Just got off work about 2 minutes had to stop & it stalled. I let it sit for 5 & it started up with a fault code P0601 (Internal control module - Memory check sum error)? How to proceed for repair?

My mechanic has diagnosed a trouble code P0601 (Internal Control Memory Fault) on my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan. He and I feel the car is running fine. Do I need to get the PCM replaced (as I've been reading online) or can I drive it as is? We don't have emissions checks.

Got a cel yesterday, got it checked out it read a P2096 fault code. The car runs fine, cleared the code it came back later in the day.

Sonata 07 CRDI 103 KW. Problem started yesterday when chek engine light came on, after a while it went of and back on. Today it went of and went to diagnosis. Diagnosis shoved fault code P0401 something with EGR.
What could cause the problem is it valve or something else?

My check engine light came on the other day, and I went to Autozone to have the code read. Of course, that indicated the camshaft position sensor was detecting a fault. I read through all the posts relating to the fault, headed up to my local Hyundai dealer, and picked up the oil flow control valve for about $50 plus tax. While I was there, I figured I might as well have them do an oil change, since it was way past due. No point in putting in a new part with dirty oil..right? They did the oil change, washed the car and I was ready to roll. My plan was to replace the part myself, but magically, the check engine light has not come back on since.

My r is throwing a p0601 sum error. I clear, it comes right back. I know the previous owner has it chipped at a garage that wasn't linked to any brand. I was planning on putting an apr/giac tune over it but now I can't (no money). I know this might mean I need a new ecu. Right now I plan on going to vw on monday and having them reflash the ecu bringing it back to stock...if it returns then i guess i need a new ecu... This sound right?

So earlier today I came up to a red light and my car just stalled randomly. So I put it in park and it started right back up and drove just fine. It's an 06 2.4L 131k miles. What could have caused this?

I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for someone for about 2 mins when I went to drive away I turned the steering wheel and the car stalled. This never happened to me before it has not happened again yet. I did also have the A/C on if this makes a difference. I figure the ac clutch engaged at that same time or some fluke thing happened.

During low rpm cruise and light throttle acceleration below 2000rpm the transmission feels like its lagging or doesn't engage until after like a second or two after you press the gas pedal down. Been happening the past couple months and I would like to find a fix for it instead of buying a used trans or new trans.

I have a 07 Sonata V6 that misses only when warmed up, runs fine when cold. code p0301 for cylinder one misfire, I have replaced the plug, coil and injector for cylinder one and still the same. idles and runs perfect when cold, dead miss on number one cylinder when warmed up.

When I accelerate from a stop, the car jumps, slows down, jumps again, etc... I do hear a noise when I accelerate rapidly on the highway, almost like a leak somewhere, but I'm not really sure.

I have a 2009 SE, about 120k miles. A few months ago I noticed a creaking noise from the front brakes when nearing the end of a complete stop, and the closer completely stopped, the more pronounced the sound is. I took it to my mechanic assuming I needed new brake pads (had put about 40k on the car without replacing them).
The mechanic told me the pads were fine but the rotors needed to be "cleaned," which he did. The sound stopped VERY briefly but then returned and is getting worse. It's not quite a grinding, more like a tight-sounding creaking that "rolls" as the car stops.
Now, they don't feel any less effective or impaired, and as I said, it's only near the end of the stop, maybe 20mph and below. No noise in the beginning part of the stop. If the brake pads and rotors are both fine as my mechanic claimed...

When I slow down to stop my 2008 Sonata it jerks. It is an intermittent issue. The car has 95,000 miles and when I called the dealer I was told they would start with changing the transmission fluid and go from there. I read on some other posts of this same type of issue being fixed by installing the latest software for the transmission, but this was related to 2009 & 2010 Sonatas. Is it possible that installing some new software would work on my 2008?

i drained the 30000 mile fluid two weeks ago because it was harsh downshifting when coming to a stop... I was curious if others noticed a lot of metal sludge sticking to the magnetized drain plug???..

My 2009 Sonata (4 Cyl.) has begun to downshift very rough while coming to a stop from about 20 mph. At first I thought it was the brakes, but now I'm convinced it's the transmission. Essentially it "jerks" a couple of times before stopping. It started happening at 30,000+ and only happens when transmission is still cold. Once I've driven for a bit it doesn't happen.
