I am actually looking for the wiring diagram for the plug that connects to the headlight/turn signal stock. I have tried the service website, but I can never seem to find what I am looking for on there.

Everything I find online only shows 2-3 wires in each sub connector, nothing with all wires and colors, and what they do. and of course the factory service manuals no longer work on my new computer. the switch and associated wires went up in smoke 2 hours ago, and this truck is my only means of transportation rite now. what i need is headlight wiring with colors so i can temporary hook up a toggle switch to have lights until the new switch and connectors come in next week. I went to pull the switch and connectors out of the parts truck, but of course that does not have fog lights so it uses different switch and connections.
View 14 RepliesMy car is a 1998 Honda Civic. The left turn signal blinks at double speed when the headlights are off. When the headlights are on, it blinks at half speed. Should I replace the left-sided bulbs? Or the turn signal relay? Or something else? None of the bulbs are out in the front or rear.
One other fact: If the hazards are on with headlight OFF everything blinks in synchrony. If the hazards are on with the headlight ON the front blinkers flash alternating (left-right-left etc).
I don't know where the wiring harness is for the front turn signal.
Im able to get to the bulb (from under the front fender) I took the bulb out and I notice the harness is not on the back cap of the bulb....
Where's the harness???? I need to install the load resistors.

I tried the Hyundai tech info website but it doesn't show anything when I go into the diagrams. By the way I have no navi just the steering wheel controls.

View 9 RepliesTurn signals quit working on my 2006 E-150. Swapped out the relay under the dash and it did nothing. Also noticed the brake lights aren't working. The headlights and taillight a are working. I pulled the fuses under dash for the lights and they tested ok. I did notice the flasher relay was making clicking sounds intermittently even when not touching anything.

View 1 RepliesI was on the way home tonight and I noticed the driver side HID headlight turn off after putting my turn signal on.
I have LED DRL fog lights installed and they're wired with no relay and plugged into the Engine Compartment fuse box. The installer connected them on the left side (where the wires come in, from the two black components by the air filter).
Could this wiring setup be interfering with the HID's?
We have a 2015 Sonata 2.4 Sport that has developed an intermittent turn signal problem. When the left turn signal is turned on, the right signal will blink. When the right signal is turned on, nothing blinks. A new symptom that recently started is sometimes neither turn signal will turn on regardless of the position of the turn signal stalk. I managed to get the car to dealer #1 while the LEFT=RIGHT & RIGHT=NOTHING issue was happening but while troubleshooting it, they ran across an inactivated aftermarket alarm system that dealer #2 that sold me the car had installed. I guess the alarm they install is so cheap, it's not even worth removing if they are unsuccessful in upselling you at the time of purchase.
Since dealer #1 would not troubleshoot any further unless the alarm was removed, I retrieved the car and took it back to the original dealer #2 I bought it from. They removed the alarm and the turn signals started working again, however, this lasted about 2 weeks before the symptoms returned. I booked an appointment at the dealer #1 to bring the car in & half way during the drive there, the turn signals started working again. With nothing to show them, I didn't drop off the car. Now the problem is back. Since it tends to come and go, I have try and time when I can drop the car off so it's happening when they get it.
Just got an inexpensive LED Stop/Turn/Taillight Bar my problem is it has (3) wires Red, Black and White while the available connection from the old bar has only (2) wires Black and White with Red Dots.
The wiring instructions for the new LED bar says (1) Attach black wire to tail lamp circuit(+), (2) Attach the Red wire to the stop/turn circuit(+) and (3) Attach white wire to a good ground(-) location.
How I should hook this up? My thought is Black to Black , Red to White with Red Dots and White to Frame metal.
I recently purchased a 2006 Chevy 2500HD pickup truck. The previous owner installed what looks like a power seat from a Ford. It's a very nice seat, probably much better that the Chevy seat but even though power is wired up doesn't work. Where can I find the wiring diagram for both the truck and the seat? The problem is the seat has been adjusted for a slightly taller person than myself which I may be able to overcome with a thin cushion and seat back cushion for myself. However my wife and my daughter are both shorter than me so the seat will need adjustment for them to safely and comfortably to drive it.

(The wire must be connected to a point that is at ground voltage when the turn signal is ON. You must find a point that is ground when the turn signals are on to make the unit work.)
My T-rex was in recently for what seemed like 30 recalls... In the midst of it...my turn signal light bulb went out. They changed it...good thing cause you need to remove the ENTIRE headlight assembly with a special tool, etc. Well...my headlight now goes on/off as it hits bumps etc...was back in once to have it fixed...and has since started again. I noticed the entire assembly does not fit as well (tight) as it did originally, nor like the other assembly that has never been touched. Appears to have been the first assembly they have worked on and broke something cause now it does not mount properly...so after all that...
Had this headlight assembly removed?
I drive a 2001 Ford Escape. About two weeks ago, I went out to start it in the morning, and it wouldn't start. My friend came over to look at it, and told me I needed a new battery. I replaced the battery, and did not notice any problems for a few days. THEN, out of nowhere, my left front turn signal stopped working. I went to buy a new bulb, but on the way back from Autozone, it spontaneously started working again. I shrugged it off and moved on. The next day, I noticed the battery light was on, and my turn signal was not working again. Later that night when I went to drive home, the battery light was off, and the turn signal was working again. The next day, the battery light was off, but the turn signal AND the left headlight were out. Now, the headlight and turn signal both do not work, and the battery light turns on and off as it pleases. Is my car possessed?
View 4 RepliesFirst, need a wiring diagram for the outputs on the back of the brake controller module? I want to check and see if there is a problem with the connection to the rheostat. I can activate the trailer brakes with the slider bar but not with the brakes.
Second, where I can get a new OEM controller that will replace my old one if I can't "Cypher it out"?
I have a 2004.5 Jetta GLi and I want to get rid of the Amber turn signal inside the headlight. Do they sell a clear or smoked lens for that, or do I have to buy new headlights all together?
View 3 RepliesLooking for a source for a wiring diagram for the 2003/4 f350 instrument cluster, specifically the wiring/connectors to the gauges? A link to a PDF file would be nice. I would like to try and disconnect the PCM control to the transmission temperature and engine temperature and drive the gauges from my own sensors to bypass the non-linear behavior that ford decided was in our best interest. I am NOT interested in installing any more gauges, just want to control the ones already present with my own signals. It is possible that these gauges are all addressable devices on a common bus, instead of individual controls.
