Sonata NF (2006-10) :: Electrical Malfunction - Windows Switches Stop Working Intermittently

I've been having some troubles with my 2009 Hyundai sonata GLS 100k 4 cyl. Its quite an odd issue I've been having with my power windows. It seems that the switches or relays stop working intermittently however it does it in an odd fashion. First the drivers master switch works for all but sometimes not for the front passenger up nor down . The front passenger switch/relay does not work at times, up nor down, the rear passenger does not go up at all and the rear driver switch does not go down at all. I can't for the life of me fathom what might actually be the issue other than, all the switches breaking at the same time(due to power surge ?) Another theory I have is that is that my passengers and I sometimes place cellphones in the door handle and may have somehow damaged the switch ? I know these are some whacky conjectures but that I can think of.

My 2006 F150 was purchased by me in early 2009 with about 28,000 miles on it. It's an XLT crew cab 4X4 with the 5.4. Stock except for a leveling kit and an aftermarket head unit. It currently has about 59,000 miles and has been babied since I purchased it. About 3 years ago I started noting some issues:
A. Oil pressure dummy gauge is all over the place. Some times it will show no oil pressure. Other times it is all the way to the highest mark. Other times the needle has gone 180 degrees past where normal is and is actualy pointing straight down towards the floor.
B. Recently my alternator dummy gauge has started doing the same thing as my oil pressure gauge.
C. The backlight behind my odometer works intermittently, but mostly not at all.
D. My dome light will flicker when first turned on. It doesn't matter which door is opened or if the override switch it turned on. It takes several seconds to come on and will flicker like there is a poor connection somewhere, but stays on once its on.
E. Blower fan will occasionally stop blowing. Once the climate control switch is turned to off, then back to on it resumes working. This doesn't happen often, but does occasionally.
Fortunately, the truck has not left me stranded and I want to keep it that way. We are getting ready to sale my wife's Toyota and this will become her daily driver. I want to take care of any issues before she starts driving it. Are these all separate issues or is there one common issue which could be causing them all?

I was driving my truck and my power windows quite working I figured it was a fuse so I wasn't to excited about it I stopped and unloaded some scrap metal and then when I started my truck back up I couldn't shift it out of park unless I unplugged the brake pedal sensor or turned the key just out of the off position then shifted to neutral then started then I could put it in gear and go so I got home and started looking checked all my fuses all good then I realize the windshield wipers are not working either and the door beeper, if you have your keys in the ignition also isn't working the horn, isn't working the lights on the window and lock switches isn't working either so I'm kinda lost now gonna barrow a relay tester in the am but I'm kinda thinking maybe the computer ?? For all this to happen at one to,e doesn't make any sense to me that's a lot to all go in one shot it makes more sense to me
No horn
No power windows
No accessory lights on the window and lock switches
No wipers
No buzzer/beeper (like when you open the door and leave the keys in the ignition
Won't shift out of park without doing it with the engine off or the brake pedal position sensor unplugged
I've gone thru with a test light and got power to the fuses for everything but still nothing

Have a F350 V10 super duty the power windows intermittently stop working along with the radio. I have replaced the acc relay key switch under a recommendation. I looked over the fuse panel under the dash for corrosion. Still can't find problem. It was worse this past summer than this winter. When it goes bad after driving 30 miles it will start working.

Recently I was driving down the road in my 99 B5 1.8T AUTO and my power windows stopped working from all the interior switches. First thing I did was get out of the car and use the key to roll them down, which worked fine. Here is what I have tried/looked into so far:
- All fuses are fine except #14 which i replaced
- Swapped the master control switch in the drivers door
- Checked the wire harness under driver carpet and the ground wire for frays or breaks
- Checked the CCM connectors and board for anything burnt or damaged
I will also add that the locks work from the door switches and the power mirrors don't work as well.

So the window switches and hatch release switch have decided they want to stop working. Along with actually locking my car from the inside or keyfob. I have checked all the fuses and the wiring looks to be intact. The hatch release switch doesn't work but the fuel door switch Does work. The passenger side window switch also isn't working and of course both Windows are down.

My brothers window won't work from any of the switches and the locks won't work they only work from the driver side no window action though from either side, checked the fuse and relay but nothing.... 1996 Ford Escape 4wd....

I have a 2006 Sonata. My check engine light came on and also my ESC light. My car does not accelerate. It takes literally about 40 seconds to get up to 20 miles an hour. I called the hyundai 800 number and they said there is a recall for a "stop lamp switch malfunction".

Got this weird vibration I noticed today. Car is in D. Stopped in place. Close all windows, and hold the window switches for an extra second.
I hear something in the engine compartment get a little louder, and the car vibrates a little..... until I let go of the window switch. What is it?

It seems as though whenever I turn on the AC in the car (and sometimes even if I don't engage the AC) all the windows lock and only I can control them from the driver's control panel...

I've got a 2011 Sonata Limited that I just purchased used, 20,000 miles. Everything is great besides the fact that the all the controls on the left hand side of the steering wheel will intermittently stop working. I brought it to Hyundai the first time I noticed and they replaced all the buttons but the issue persisted. So, I just picked it up today from them replacing the entire clockspring and the wiring behind it now. It worked great all day until just as I was pulling into my driveway and it happened again.
They basically told me this would 100% fix it because it's the only other thing that could be the issue. However, my gut keeps telling me it could be an issue with the radio itself. I've read a bunch of stuff on here about the issue but there was only a few responses of fixes (all of which I have tried).

I was noticing this morning, that my left front and right rear windows didn't work. Also each of my two side mirrors would only adjust to the left but not to the right. When I try to do the non-working windows the dome light would dim a little bit when I push the button, but no sound or anything.
This is an intermittent problem. They usually work, but sometimes they don't.

On my wife's car a 2009 Sonata, the driver's control of the power windows for the right side stopped working last Friday. The window switches operate on all doors, but can't control them from the Driver's door.

My control of the both right side windows on the driver side do not function but I am able to move them when I control them individually. Is there a solution to fix this issue by myself or will I have to take it to a maintenance shop?

Just purchased 2013 Azera with 14K miles. On third morning of ownership, all radio presets (FM & XM) were gone, trip computer display changed from "distance to empty" to "Trip A", clock time incorrect. Reset all of these and they stay throughout the day. Then, after sitting overnight in garage, all settings again disappear.

Stock FM/CD/SAT radio that came with my Sonata, AM stopped working intermittently while FM and XM both still worked. Upgraded the radio to JVC with Bluetooth and found that AM still does not work. FM works fine as well as all other functions.

Yesterday I ran my batteries down and had to have my 2003 F350 jump started. The truck started find, and the battery is retaining its charge, but after the jump i lost my power windows, instrument panel (speedometer, gauges, odometer), dome lights, radio, and power mirrors. I have checked all the blade fuses and they are all fine. I have noticed in the past that occasionally it takes a few seconds for these things to come on line after I start up, but this was very rare and the functions always came on line shortly. What the problem could be?

we just bought a 2002 Excursion and it has a few issues. First off the door, the ajar light will not go out, however, the dome lights are not on constant, they come on briefly while the key is removed and do work with the roller switch. Also the radio doesn't shut off with the key removed until the timer relay kills all power. I have ohmed the door switches to ground all the way back to the VSM/GEM module. The door lock/unlock switches do nothing for any of the doors, the actuators don't even try to move. The auto headlights also do not function.

I have an 06 Sonata 4Cyl
My air conditioner has decided to stop working. The compressor wont turn on. This has happened in the past a handful of times but it has always come back either after changing my cabin air filter or just by itself after a few minutes. So far its been 24 hours and it still doesn't work.
From reading online, I'm thinking one thing to check is the Evaporator Temperature Sensor. It seems like that could explain the behavior in the past..
In the manual, it says "Pull out out the passenger's crash pad center low cover". Where is this?
After watching this video: [URL] .... I thought I knew where it was, but when I look in that location, I don't see any connectors.

I have a 2006 Sonata that the driver side fog light stop working. I assumed it was a bulb from the posts I read. However when I replaced the bulb I noted it still did not work and I checked the replacement as well as the original bulb with an ohm meter and found both bulbs were good. So I wiggled the socket & wiring to see if there was a break or short but nothing seemed to fix the problem. Since the fog light on the other side still works, I did not check for a blown fuse.

The indicator lights stopped working on the switches and the dealer replaced a fuse and they worked again. Now they are out again and it seems like the heater on the drivers side is on the low setting for random intervals.
