My control of the both right side windows on the driver side do not function but I am able to move them when I control them individually. Is there a solution to fix this issue by myself or will I have to take it to a maintenance shop?

View 4 RepliesMy passenger side power window does not work from the drivers side control, but works from the passenger control. I replaced the master switch on the driver side and it still does not work. I have checked the fuses--Side, below and under the hood and have even found inline fuses below--all were good. Could the dealer have to program my new switch? I do not have child safety locks.
View 2 RepliesI have an 09 Limited with the dual automatic climate control. It finally got cool enough to start running the heater. The passenger side vents are throwing cold air instead of warm like the drivers side. This includes the windshield defroster. I'm thinking there is a diverter "somewhere" that is not working properly.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. About 3 months back I noticed that the driver side window won't come down. When the switch is first depressed, I hear a sound like the motor is trying to kick-in but the window doesn't move.
What might be wrong, what I should look for and instructions.
I have a 2006 Sonata that the driver side fog light stop working. I assumed it was a bulb from the posts I read. However when I replaced the bulb I noted it still did not work and I checked the replacement as well as the original bulb with an ohm meter and found both bulbs were good. So I wiggled the socket & wiring to see if there was a break or short but nothing seemed to fix the problem. Since the fog light on the other side still works, I did not check for a blown fuse.
View 1 RepliesI just purchased a 2009 Sonata with 78,000 miles. Car appears to be in great condition. I am using the air conditioner alot. I noticed the other day that there was significant moisture under the drivers floormat and the carpeting was damp. I let it dry and put the mat back down. That was about 5 days ago. I checked it again today and it is damp again. The car has not been in the rain during that time. Neither the carpet or the car smell damp or musty. What could be causing the moisture? It is only on the drivers side.

View 2 RepliesI have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. The a/c air vent is not working on the passenger side. The vent on the drivers side is working. I believe it is the temp door actuator? Can we fix this on our own? Mileage is over 60,000 miles? That is the only problem I have had with my car.

View 2 RepliesFront windows left open during a light overnight rain. Now all windows except driver's side will not move-- motors don't respond. I've read on an old post that they have their own switch, but does it need to be replaced (from a little moisture!) or something else? I cannot find any bad fuses, but I'm not confident I'm looking at the right one (#18, 20 amp, 'FWR Window'). 2009 model.

View 1 RepliesI've been having some troubles with my 2009 Hyundai sonata GLS 100k 4 cyl. Its quite an odd issue I've been having with my power windows. It seems that the switches or relays stop working intermittently however it does it in an odd fashion. First the drivers master switch works for all but sometimes not for the front passenger up nor down . The front passenger switch/relay does not work at times, up nor down, the rear passenger does not go up at all and the rear driver switch does not go down at all. I can't for the life of me fathom what might actually be the issue other than, all the switches breaking at the same time(due to power surge ?) Another theory I have is that is that my passengers and I sometimes place cellphones in the door handle and may have somehow damaged the switch ? I know these are some whacky conjectures but that I can think of.

View 2 RepliesI have an 03 Ford Taurus I recently bought. It had a remote starter put in it. About a month later none of my windows will go down. What first happened was only the drivers window went down but not up. I finally got it up messing with the door lock on my remote and it will still go down but going up is another thing, just hit or miss for days. Still none of my other windows will go down.

View 3 Replies-1 (-20 wind chill) here in South Bend this morning, and the Touareg did not like it. All but the drivers door frozen shut. All power windows frozen shut. Defective tyre warning went off once, and then check tyre pressure has stayed on. Wonder what She would do to me if She was not in a garage. The heated seats worked great, how I would have loved to have the heated steering wheel this morning.
This weather is heading East, hope you all on the coast are ready.
I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata that has the digital display for the climate control- which i am assuming is the auto climate control system that is talked about on here frequently. The problem is that the fuse for the climate control system continually blows, causing the display and all controls for the climate control system, to stop working. Put a new fuse it, blows again.
View 1 RepliesRecently noticed that the automatic climate control on my 2006 Sonata stopped working. The temperature readout still shows desired interior temperature but nothing happens when dial is turned all the way up or down. When in manual mode, the heater fan will adjust faster or slower when dial is turned so I still get heat/ac but only by dialing manually. If I switch to automatic mode, the fan will operate in whatever setting it was in when in manual mode. What part do I need to replace in all likelihood and how hard is it to replace?
