Just picked up a '17 SFS 2.0T Ultimate. Only gripe so far is that the ventilated seats (which the salespeople said were 'superior to the Tucson's') don't blow any air. I can hear something going on under the seat but no air comes out.

View 11 RepliesSo I picked up my new 2016 LWB loaded 6 passenger Santa Fe yesterday and I'm finding today that NONE of the heated seats are doing anything. The ventilation (fan) works, the heated steering wheel works, but all 4 seats are inoperative. Now, I'm coming from a 2014 Santa Fe Sport with the same heated and ventilated seats that worked fine, and my life has a 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD and hers all work fine. I've checked the fuses located in the dash and those are fine.
View 2 RepliesI literally bought my Santa Fe 8 days ago, it has 207 miles on it as it sits in my driveway. The back seat has some sort of squeak noise. I just paid 41k for this vehicle and I really like it. But there is no way this thing should already be shaking and vibrating things to the point they are squeaking and coming loose.
View 11 RepliesNoticed the seat shaking when at highway speeds or when you go over bumps in the road? When my seats are empty, they shake and make an annoying rattle, shakey noise. I had them looked at by Hyundai and was told that there was nothing that Hyundai was going to do to fix them. After battling that for a while, Hyundai did reimburse me a car payment for me to "live with it" and, quite frankly, to shut me up.
View 5 RepliesNot sure if this was already posted but I did a search and nothing came up. I have a HORRIBLE screeching, squeaking noise coming from my back seats. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Anyway, I feel like it's coming from the right passenger back seat, but I don't know the exact spot. It's so bad I have to turn the music up so I can't hear it. It happens especially when I drive over bumps. I folded the seat down and sprayed the metal part with WD-40 where the bottom of the seat connects to the back of the seat, but I don't think this is the problem area.
View 27 RepliesI have a 2014 Santa Fe and after about 2 hours on the highway the A/C freezes up and won't blow air through the vents. If I shut off the A/C and run just fresh air in about 10 minutes the volume returns, and I can once again turn on the A/C for another 2+ hours. I run the A/C on fresh air not recirculate.

I asked the dealer and they're told me is normal. Lexus designed that way. wtpho!
I'm currently using a 2016 NX200t loaner and both heated/ac seats stayed on at the same fan speed.
Is it normal or dealer just playing with me?
2014 ES 300 hybrid- Rear seats are extra warm to hot. Took my car twice to the dealer and they are not able to locate the problem.

What is the default operation - Auto Decrease or Stays the Same?
How to change the heated seat operation method? I recall seeing somewhere to hold both heated seat button controls down until it beeps to make a change in the method of operation...and doing the same again will change it back. How to confirm that this (change) method to be accurate?
2013 Sonata Limited. The seat heaters come on at random intervals. The switch is in the off position and the lights on the switch are off yet the heat still comes on. If I move the switch to either High, or Low the light and the heat comes on. When I turn the switch off the heat stops. The dealer looked at the switches and seat today and could not find anything.
View 1 RepliesWell I have climate control AC/heater systems. It seems to be working correctly in the front. Although I don't see any way of keeping the AC from running and still have the fan circulating air. OFF kills everything AUTO & manual modes still appear to activate the AC since the air appears cooler than the cool outside temperature. Not need if you're opening the sunroof to run the AC as well. Seems like an oversight.
Anyway reaching around the back with heat coming out the dash vents its just cool air out those column outputs. Maybe it has to run longer or engine much hotter. I pulled the manual and re read it again but its saying where air will go in various mode selections. I omits entirely if there is heat to the rear when the floor is the only output selected as it is in AUTO.
When they get heat out the columns on their system. This is a Limited.
We have had this problem about 3 months. The ac blower wont blow at different times. When it does blow it blows as hard and cold as it should be, however random times when we get in the car and turn the ac or heater on nothing blows out. Occasionally when driving it will just come on but usually if when you turn the car on and its not blowing it wont. We have noticed in the morning it almost always comes on especially now that its colder.
However today after it blowing fine all morning when I got in the car and turned the ac on nothing happens, its about 80 today here. Yesterday it blew fine and cold all day and this morning the heat blew perfectly. Doesn't seem like the blower motor is out since it clearly works when it does run. Maybe a fuse or something in electrical that keeps shorting?

My 2013 ford f150 4x4 ac does not blow very cool air . We have charged the compressor and that did not work. Then we Vac it down and replaced the expansion valve and recharged the compressor, still the same. Also on the max high setting the blower is really loud?
View 6 RepliesI have a 2003 Santa fe 2.0 diesel which I got 2 weeks ago, but the air con does not blow cold, I suspect that the air conditioning needs re-gassing, my question is how often does the air con need re-gassing on the santa fe, I've had cars before and for a number of years and the sir con always have been fine, I just hope it needs a re-service , are there any common faults with the air cons on a santa fe?

View 11 RepliesI have a 2004 Santa Fe and have recently noticed the following problem. When it is hot outside (95 degrees) and car has been idling for a while, suddenly the A/C will start blowing warm air and the temperature gauge will start creeping up above normal. It hasn't fully overheated as when this occurs, I shut off the A/C or start moving and it returns to normal temperature. The A/C will then work properly again. Also, when this happens, if I turn the car off and then try to start it again a few minutes later, it is very hard to start but eventually starts. It can easily be reproduced, but I want to try to understand possible cause before taking it to a dealer. I was thinking maybe fan going bad, or fan switch.
View 4 RepliesI have a 09 santa fe and it just started doing this. when we start it and let it warm up it will get the normal temp and will blow hot air but when we start to drive the thermostat goes back down to cold and it will blow cold air. I have had a problem similar to this before and taken it back to the dealership and they replace the same thing over and over. but this time its not fixing itself and it is staying like this. usually it will fix itself.
View 5 RepliesWhen first starting a 2012 Sante Fe GLS with standard AC each morning, the vents blow warm for up to 3-5 minutes and therafter are fine. Additional starts for the remainder of the day seem fine. We live in a hot climate, but our 2011 Sonata, which is parked in the same garage, does not have this problem. No unusual soundsor lack of air circulation, and after 5 minutes it spontaneously starts to blow cool air. Problem began 2 months after purchase.
