Santa Fe (DM - 2013+) :: No Unlock - Cannot Open Liftgate

2013 SF Sport 2.0T ... This just started a couple of days ago. Worked fine until then. Neither the proximity key near the car and pressing the liftgate release, nor hitting the fob's "trunk open" button, NOR hitting the "unlock" button on the inside door panel will unlock the liftgate! If I hit the fob or press the outside release, the parking lights flash twice, but that's IT! No "unlock" and I can't open the lift gate. (I can't see them if I hit the inside the cabin button). All other locks work as they are supposed to.

2002 GLS 2.7. Locking system has been working fine. Today while trying to load groceries through the liftgate, it would not open. Unlocked if from the key entry in the liftgate and from the front door. You can hear the locks upen but when you pull the handle, the liftgate does not unlock.

does the power smart liftgate operate only when you walk away from the car. We were sitting in the car at home checking it out and my wife went out to test the smart liftgate..

The power liftgate on my 2015 SF Sport will open just fine but as soon as it opens all the way, it begins to close. It doesn't always do this but recently it's happening more than not.
By the way, I do not have the liftgate set to open automatically, just power liftgate is checked on the settings.

So My 16 ES starts remotely but shuts off every time I open the doors or unlock the doors with the key fob?
So I have to re-start it every time I get in? Whats the point? I can maybe see the heater for winter or ac for summer but my car is garaged.

Have the door locks start to lock and unlock while driving / We have a 2015 Santa Fe sport and when the locks start locking and unlocking by themselves the door lock controls are inop until you stop and shut the key off.

My son used my Santa Fe this afternoon, and when he came home the fob would not lock or unlock doors. Additionally, the door lock button in the car will not work-I had to manually lock all the doors. Car starts. Am I missing something?

My liftgate glass will not open but the liftgate will. Dashboard indicates that the glass is open. Can not open with key fob either. What this problem may be.

I've 2014 Santa Fe Sport 2.4 AWD. From past few days my Front Passenger Door Lock/Unlock is not responding when i try to open via remote lock/Unlock buttons. All other door locks are working fine. I googled and found some issues with door actuators.

We own a 2004 rx330 and a odd thing occurs on warm days. That power liftgate will not open or close with the power buttons. It will open about 2 inches and close. When completely open, the power button will not close it. Works fine on mild weather days.

I have a 04 RX330 AWD and I noticed yesterday when I opened the rear door, it didn't stay open when it reached the top. As soon as the rear door reach the top position, it came back down and closed the door. First, I thought I pressed the button to close but when I tried a few more times, it was keep happening. I have a problem with my keyless entry and liftgate. It began as an intermittent problem and now it is constant. I am unable to use my keyless entry. I have checked the batteries, reprogrammed the remotes and nothing works. I am unable to open my liftgate at all unless I go in through the access hole in the liftgate from the inside and manually flip the latch. WHAT A PAIN!I did some online research and found that this is an issue with the 2006 trailblazer. According to the information I found, it seems to be an issue with the wiring between the liftgate and the chassis. The "short" tells the vehicle that the door is open, and this is why the keyless and the liftgate have issues. I have taken the tape off of the wires, disconnected the coupling and inspected them. I do not see any frayed wires or rubbing issues. Where do I begin troubleshooting which wire is the problem and how do I fix this?

As the title states, I need to know where that damn switch/sensor that tells the car that the rear hatch is open. Since I got the car, the hatch has been wonky at best when trying to close that hatch via the button. I figured it was going to need a new switch, however I just noticed something today.
I opened the hatch and the rear dome light came on. Pressed the button and it closed no problem. I opened it again a few minutes later and the light never came on. Tried to close it with the button again and it didn't work. And then it all made sense. The sensor that tells the car that the hatch is open is either gummed up or just needs replacing. So where exactly is this thing?

When closing my glove box, it will open back out. That's if I slap it on and let go. I noticed that there are 2 notches sliding out of the glove box. If I push them in by hand, they slide out slowly. So I tried to close the glove box and keep my hand on it for a couple of seconds for the notches to slide. It stays closed this way. I'm suspecting this is tied to the cold weather we're having lately. I hope I don't have to take it apart to re-lube it or anything like that.

Having issues with a creaking panoramic sunroof while its open? Its whenever i go over any bumps. I had the slight issue while it was closed but i applied some silicone to the wind visor and that prevents it from creaking while closed. Now the open issue.

Having issue where the tailgate will not open if the key is in ignition and the engine is on? My tailgate stays locked and I tried to use the keyfob and nothing....I had to turn the ignition off in order for it to open.

This really ticked me off big time today, whatever I do the gas cap won't open when I tried to at the gas station. Before I noticed that I would have to try this a couple of times before it will open, but today, it just won't open at all.

The wife and I bought a 2014 Santa Fe 2.4 FWD back in August and so far we are pretty happy with it. A few issues have come up in the first couple months of ownership.
1) The dreaded squeak from the rear passenger side started a couple months ago. I’m going to try the easy fixes first (adjusting the tailgate stops, etc) then take it to the dealership if that doesn't work. I hope they don’t have to do the spot weld fix but if that’s what it is, oh well.
