Santa Fe (DM - 2013+) :: Dashboard Backlight Keeps Changing Intensity After 10 Or 20 Minutes

I have a 2015 Santa Fe Sport and my dashboard backlight keeps changing instensity at random time intervals - sometimes after 20 minutes and sometimes after 10 minutes. What could be causing this?

Even though my climate control system is not in auto mode, it still has a mind of its own. When I run my a/c, the airflow intensity level changes, and the system switches to defrost about every 5 minutes or so (even when there is absolutely no need for defrost). I continually have to set the system back to my comfort level. What causes this, and how do I fix it?

Any way to disable the auto-dimming of my dashboard due to lack of light? It seems like when I go into tunnels, the dashboard dims so much that all I can see are the needles.
I suppose I could also turn on the lights, but that seems like overkill.

Have had my Santa Fe now for about a week and the wife noticed a small flashing red light on dashboard almost to windshield. Looked in manual and cannot find anything about it.

It work... sometimes....
Last week, first time we use the AC this year (was over 30 celcius)... blowing hot air only, even after 15min drive... tried to turn the AC off/on.. switch to outside/inside, manual/auto etc..... no changes...
Back at home, remove the fuse cover to check both fuses, both OK, all in the dash about the AC is working but still blowing only hot air (restarted the car couple of times)...........
1 week later (today).. I take it ... (24 Celsius outside)... work #1.. i made some stop (turning the car off) and it worked all the morning.. i try to switch On/off........ work every time......
After lunch i need to go get my son, so i try it again (3-4 hours between the 2)... do not work anymore.. only hot air.. try everything again... even turning the car off with AC ON (or OFF) and restart... samething!... thats really weird....

Is it possible to change the Climate control system to show in Degrees Celsius instead of Fahrenheit? It displays the temperature inside the vehicle on the lower dash display under the radio. I read all through the manual as well as mashed every key on the dashboard but no luck...

I have a 2003 Toyota Camry with 207K miles on it. I recently replaced the catalytic converter on it in order to fix the P0420 code. I drove the car to work the next day and the test came back under the max specs. I drove back home and everything was fine. No more CEL.
Now I have the problem where the car starts normal when its cooled down, but if I drive it for a few minutes and turn it off and back on again it stalls. If I let it cool down for a minute it will turn on but idle really rough like at 400 RPMs. At times it will stall back again.
The only other thing I did differently was pump a full tank of gas at a different gas station than I normally do. Before I changed the CAT I had no problems like this.

Now i want to know how to change the intensity of DRL when turn on the blinkers. Because when you are using the DRL and turn on the blinker the intensity of DRL drops down , and i want to control that intensity.
I already know how to change the intensity in the DRL , but i don't when turn on the blinker.

I have a 1999 Forrester "S", automatic with ~100k miles. This started intermittently but now is consistent. At about 45 mph or higher the rear of the car will shake with increasing intensity. It feels similar to a bad strut that allows the axle to hop. I have checked the balance on all the wheels, bearings feel free, nothing seems to be loose in the suspension, have placed the car on jack stands and run at 60+ with no vibration. My best guess is the carrier bearing or rubber suspension on the drive shaft. It is hard to evaluate in the car.

I'm battling an odd suspension issue...over the last 5-7,000 miles, I've had a strange vibration issue surface that has varied in intensity depending on speed and road surface. I've had a damaged wheel trued, replaced all four tires and had all four wheels/tires RFV balanced. The vibration has changed but not quite gone away. Instead, it's been joined by an increased vagueness in directional stability (tendency to wander) at highway speed.
Last week, the tech balancing my tires said he felt my right hand front rear control arm bushing was worn. The more I've thought about this, the more I'm wondering if this is what might be the source of this mystery vibration issue. So, I really have two questions?
First, bad front CA rear bushing replaced under warranty? 15,000 miles does NOT seem like an acceptable service life for a suspension bushing? Do these bushings have a history of premature wear and failure, or am I just lucky?
Second, if I do have to replace one or both bushings (left and right pt. no. 5C407183A,) I'd like to ask if the solid bushing (pt. no. 1J0407181) from a Jetta or Beetle will work in a Passat control arm? If I do have to replace the bushing, it might be better to put a more solid piece of rubber in there instead of the flimsier original part.

So I changed my own oil today 2013 Elantra GLS, did everything as I assume I should have, pulled the plug, changed the filter, put a new OEM crush gasket on and replaced the plug. I screwed it in with my fingers until i couldn't anymore, then used a 17mm wrench to tighten it. Now I have a slow drip coming from the bolt. I doubt I would have stripped it, I carefully hand tightened the bolt.

After rain my SF indicators in dashboard become crazy. Engine check, 4wd, reductor, TC stayed on when i start engine. Engine working is no good. I unplugged battery for 5 sec, and after that all is ok until next rain. If there is only one light on i know than there is a problem but 5 of them it looks like shortcut on some point.

I have a problem with my dash on a 13 ES. There was a shiny spot in the middle of the dash, so I took some Dawn dish washing liquid and a micro fiber towel and gently tried to remove the shiny spot. Well, after I wiped it with clean water, it dried as a whitish spot now, as if some of the dye came off! Any remedy for this mistake I did?

I have a 2013 golf r and I usually shift gear at 3 rpm when driving normal but for some reason it doesn't feel right, I can hear the clutch making a weird noise whenever changing gear at a low rpm, it feels so much smoother when shifting above 4 rpm but I dont always wanna punch it so hard especially when there's always traffic from where I live. Any advice on a smoother shift at a low rpm.

I have a 2007 Santa Fe 3.3. On occasions in low gear as it goes to change gear it will seem to cut out, check engine light flashes on then off engine revs as I have foot on accelerator but then everything seems to restart and is fine. Seems to buck for that second or so and is when I have just started a journey. doesn't seem to do it at other times during a trip.

How do I change my license plate bulbs? I can't seem to get the plastic covers to pop off without worrying about breaking something. Even reading about people saying the puddle lights were hard to change, i did mines in 10 minutes in the dark with a small flashlight lol.
This was a lot easier old my old g37/350z ....

I was going to change the fuel filter on my truck yesterday, but couldn't figure out how the guard comes off. It has a bolt but it also has a rivet in it and looks like its all one piece so Id have to drill the rivet to remove. I tried to just spin the housing off.

Ok so my santa fe is doing some weird things. No dashboard lights work the car wont turn over, it has new battery new starter new ignition and no fuses are blown. Basically it seems electronically dead.
My mother in law was driving it and it just killed, my brother in law changed the starter and battery first then the ignition switch.
I have been working on cars for 15 years and i've never come across this problem.

The light for the odometer in my 05 Santa Fe has gone out. Every other light and the dimmer switch work fine as do the taillights. What do I have to do to replace the bulb?
