Upgrading my side mirrors. When I bought my Santa Fe I completely forgot about these. I have tried google them but nothing comes up. I don't mind doing the install myself. I would even buy OEM parts as I assume its probably just plug and play with the old ones.
View 2 RepliesI noticed the turn signal light on the passenger side and mirror staying on. Wether it's started or off. Locked or unlocked. Don't know what the issues could be. Front one not on though
At the dealer now. I have 600 miles on it so I'm assuming it will be warranty covered.
My blinker housing is cracked and I can't figure out how to remove and replace it. It looks like you might have to pull the mirror glass to get to the screws. Is this the case? If not, how do you do it, and if so, how do you pull the mirror glass off without it breaking?
View 5 RepliesI just changed the whole bulb set (front and back) to LED and now my turn signals are hyper flashing. I read about the additional resistors but I doubt there is any space, whether in the front nor in the back, to place this resistors. Now, I understand that changing the Flasher is not an option on the 2014 DM model.
View 3 RepliesMy daughter backed out of our garage and clipped the passenger side mirror assembly on our brand new 2017 Santa Fe. The casing on the assembly is broken where it hit our garage door track, but the camera, etc. works fine. I was quoted over 900 bucks to replace this part - 87620 4Z500 - and I'm assuming that is a quote for ALL of the parts of that assembly (guts and all). Everything works, and we'd just like to purchase the plastic casing, have it color matched and DIY. Is there anyway to do that?
View 2 RepliesI noticed today that though the small single LED visible to the driver flashes when you signal, the apparent row of lights on the back of the mirror does not. Is the clear stripe across the back of the mirror that most cars have to augment the directional signal just decoration on the GTI? Or does it only light up on SE and Autobahn models?

1 : I installed puddle lamps and either didn't plug something in OR when they were coded something went wrong.
2 : I have colored side markers with no bulbs and they are somehow connected.
How do u remove and install the turn signals in the mirror?
View 6 RepliesI was on the way home tonight and I noticed the driver side HID headlight turn off after putting my turn signal on.
I have LED DRL fog lights installed and they're wired with no relay and plugged into the Engine Compartment fuse box. The installer connected them on the left side (where the wires come in, from the two black components by the air filter).
Could this wiring setup be interfering with the HID's?
Background: Some inconsiderate fellow manually collapsed my mirror for me and now it will not fully swing open. I can force it, but will not lock in the full open position. I'm sure the locking mechanism is jammed or worse broke, who knows.
I've removed the mirror from the vehicle but am not sure how to get to the inner motors without breaking something.
Alright so, I've done a lot of research to come across a mirror motor and I found one, problem is I don't have the slightest clue on how to take the morror apart. It attempts to fold then stops. So, I kind of jumped the gun and tried to pop off the main mirror and I cracked it. How to disassemble the mirror.

View 5 RepliesI have been searching the web and can't seem to find any information on replacing the turn signal halogens with LEDs on the 2013 ES350. Is there a hyper-flash issue? The Lexus LED Flasher Turn Signal Relay (81980-50030) doesn't appear to be compatible with the 2013 model. I don't really want to go the resistor route, am I missing something? I would like to install VLEDs Platinum 21 Amber(Front) and Red(Rear).
View 14 RepliesI own a 2004 hyundai santa fe and just recently my turn signals have stopped working. My bulbs are fine because they still light up when I lock my car and my hazards work too. The flashing arrows on my dashboard wont show up for my turn signals but they will show up for hazards. I checked the fuse and its completely fine. I am so confused with what is wrong. The only thing I was doing before was messing with my new head unit which involved unplugging a lot of the stereo and fog lights and hazards but that all should have no affect on my turn signals.
View 6 RepliesI have had an ongoing issue with my 2010 Santa Fe Limited with the battery randomly being drawn down and would not start the vehicle.
I saw a post somewhere on the internet to remove the Negative connection on the fender and grind it down to the bare metal so that it has a good ground connection.
I have done that last week, but last night before turning in for the night i looked out the window and saw lights in my driveway. I went out to investigate and found that the Santa Fe's turn signal/hazard lights were all on front and back and not flashing.
I got in the vehicle and turned the lights on and off with no keys and they all went out.
I got the schematics for the Santa Fe and i believe it could be the Hazard relay that seems to be located inside the I/P Junction box or could be the Hazard Relay Control in the BCM.
Has noticed a rattle when going over bumps. The rattle seems to come from the rear passenger side at moderate speeds.

I did search but have had no luck. My turn signals do not work, unless my foot is on the brake pedal my green arrow indicator wont even turn on. When they do my bulbs work but don't cycle so I know all the bulbs are good as I had my wife check all four corners when I got them to come on for a split second. I have tried replacing the MFS and the turn signal relay under the radio in the dash.... When I do turn on my blinkers I can hear the relay click once but that is it, no more.
I tried checking the wiring in the column and tilting the column to its extremes while trying to engage the turn signals. Also, if I unplug the brake light switch then I do not get an arrow on the IC to light up so I am guessing the power flows through that switch. I don't have a chilton manual yet and the owners manual was not in the truck. I did check fuse 23 ?
So I lent my santa fe to a buddy to do some hauling, I got it back yesterday and the turn signals and the brake lights don't work...notta. Regular running lights are working without issue, but no turn signals, no hazards, no brakes. Even the "tick, tick, tick" of the turn signal is gone, it's just dead.

I scanned it with my AE and got a brake fluid sensor error come up but nothing about the signals .... is this a common problem or is there a connection between all this? 2003 F350 6.0L .....

View 4 RepliesBacking out of garage this morning I brushed against the side and smashed a piece of plastic out of passenger side view mirror. Sent a picture to parts department of local Lexus dealer and quoted 304.80 for "special order" part + 300 for labor. This is an insane price for a non-functioning piece of plastic. Thoughts on best DIY way to proceed? I have the broken off plastic, but it does not sit flush in the assembly.
