I just changed the whole bulb set (front and back) to LED and now my turn signals are hyper flashing. I read about the additional resistors but I doubt there is any space, whether in the front nor in the back, to place this resistors. Now, I understand that changing the Flasher is not an option on the 2014 DM model.

View 9 RepliesI have an 01 2500hd crew cab which has turn signals that flash at hyper speed. the only bulb that wont work is the passenger side outer turn signal. i believe its a 194 bulb. it has no power to it. i changed the short harness and socket and still no power. the turn signal switch has been changed recently for another issue and this didn't correct the turn signal issue. is this a known common issue or do i need to pull apart my wiring harness and start chasing wires? turn signals work but blink extremely fast and it is a little annoying.
View 2 RepliesMy front left turn signal was hyper flashing. I replaced all four bulbs to no avail. Just to satisfy my curiosity I switched the bulb holder from left to right sides. The hyper flash followed to the right side. Turns out that the bulb holder shorted out. I had it replaced under warranty yesterday.
View 2 RepliesUpgrading my side mirrors. When I bought my Santa Fe I completely forgot about these. I have tried google them but nothing comes up. I don't mind doing the install myself. I would even buy OEM parts as I assume its probably just plug and play with the old ones.

I went out into the garage last night and noticed the Santa Fe brake lights were on. No other lights, just the right, left, and the upper brake lights. I tapped the brake pedal several times, I started the car and put it through a couple gear changes, turned the other lights on and off, but the brake lights remained on.
The brake lights would get a little brighter when the pedal was pushed. The brake lights would also flicker once in awhile. I'm thinking a short somewhere so I have disconnected the battery until I can call the dealer tomorrow.
The only thing I have added to this car is a Curt Hitch and wire plug (plug and play, no splicing). This was more than 6 months ago and there has been no problems.
I have installed switchback led signal lights. The right side only turn signal lights will hyper flash until I have driven 10-15mins. and then they operate normally. The guys who installed the system went to a better resistor and nothing changed. My installer says he has never seen this issue before. The driver's side functions properly. both sides have always had resistors.

Also, the hazard lights don't work either. No flashing, no blinking when I turn on my hazards. I've seen many variations while searching? 1994 B3000 2x4 extra cab.....
View 14 RepliesI have been searching the web and can't seem to find any information on replacing the turn signal halogens with LEDs on the 2013 ES350. Is there a hyper-flash issue? The Lexus LED Flasher Turn Signal Relay (81980-50030) doesn't appear to be compatible with the 2013 model. I don't really want to go the resistor route, am I missing something? I would like to install VLEDs Platinum 21 Amber(Front) and Red(Rear).
View 14 RepliesI have a 2003 Excursion 7.3 2WD Limited and all of the sudden experienced a number of issues all at once.
1. Turn signals stopped flashing (hazards still flash)
2. Lost Rear back up sensors
3. Lost overhead trip computer
4. Lost Rear A/C - switch does nothing
5. Front A/C now only blows through the defroster vent
I've checked all the fuses and cant find any bad ones.
I replaced the multi-switch flasher and turn signals still dont work - only hazards.
I own a 2004 hyundai santa fe and just recently my turn signals have stopped working. My bulbs are fine because they still light up when I lock my car and my hazards work too. The flashing arrows on my dashboard wont show up for my turn signals but they will show up for hazards. I checked the fuse and its completely fine. I am so confused with what is wrong. The only thing I was doing before was messing with my new head unit which involved unplugging a lot of the stereo and fog lights and hazards but that all should have no affect on my turn signals.
View 6 RepliesOk so I have a 2014 F-150 Screw fX4 with the projector headlights. 13356.0 km as I sit in it. I had turn signals the other day, but now none. I had the dealer disable the lamp outage to remove the hyper flash issue with led's. Sockets don't look burnt or anything everything is new. So here is what is working.
- mirrors turn indicators
- rear turn signals
- dash turn signals.
I have reinstalled my OEM bulbs and still have the issue, only my running lights are on the front. So it has power.
I have had an ongoing issue with my 2010 Santa Fe Limited with the battery randomly being drawn down and would not start the vehicle.
I saw a post somewhere on the internet to remove the Negative connection on the fender and grind it down to the bare metal so that it has a good ground connection.
I have done that last week, but last night before turning in for the night i looked out the window and saw lights in my driveway. I went out to investigate and found that the Santa Fe's turn signal/hazard lights were all on front and back and not flashing.
I got in the vehicle and turned the lights on and off with no keys and they all went out.
I got the schematics for the Santa Fe and i believe it could be the Hazard relay that seems to be located inside the I/P Junction box or could be the Hazard Relay Control in the BCM.
So I lent my santa fe to a buddy to do some hauling, I got it back yesterday and the turn signals and the brake lights don't work...notta. Regular running lights are working without issue, but no turn signals, no hazards, no brakes. Even the "tick, tick, tick" of the turn signal is gone, it's just dead.
View 1 RepliesI am getting ready to switch out the turn signal bulbs in my 2012 F150 to LED bulbs. I know on my previous truck (2006) I had to switch out the turn signal relay so the turn signal lights would not fast flash. On my 2012 it sounds like the flasher unit is up high in the dash board behind the instrument panel and I can't see it.
How to access it easily? I have seen on other forums the talk of there not being a flasher relay and being computer controlled, but there is one listed on Ford parts for the 2011 and 2012 F150s.
Hooked up to my trailer and I have running lights but no turn signals, brake lights, or trailer brakes. I pulled plugged in my other vehicle to the trailer and everything works fine. My truck is a 2011 with the factory trailer brake control and pigtail connection. It worked fine last year.
I checked the connector with a test light and there is only power to the running lights. I then disconnected the plug at the back of the trailer connector and tested there and got the same results. Are there particular fuses or relays I should look at?
I have a 2011 f150 xlt it didn't come with the mirrors that have turn indicators on them they have the dummy covers. Putting the indicators in there....
View 3 RepliesI recently just purchased my 2010 Prius and the first mod I did was add new projectors/HID's. Upon ordering this kit I did not get the relay harness.
I also would like to add I drove my car around with my headlights out to see if a bulb out warning would come on and nothing. Also, if we add LED's to turn signals will this create a hyper flash?
I went to drive and noticed left turn blinker was hyper blinking. Left front bulb is burned out. Is this a normal feature to hyper blink when a bulb goes out?
View 4 RepliesIt was discovered last night that the third brake light (or Center High Mounted Stop Lamp/CHMSL) on our SF flashes a few times before going solid when I brake. I did a little searching and it seems that it is not legal in TX, so I guess I get to put in a call to the dealer today.
From what the interwebs say, it seems to be something dealers do as an added "safety feature" (and I even found research that shows it does get attention better than solid lights). There's a lot out there about people wanting to install this feature, and there are companies that do this for you. But I've never seen it on the road myself, and to be honest, it's kind of annoying. And the TX code is not the clearest, but I think it's saying "no flashing lights unless you're a bus."
Here's what I found from the TX transportation code:
(c) A person may not operate a motor vehicle equipped with a red, white, or blue beacon, flashing, or alternating light unless the equipment is:
(1) used as specifically authorized by this chapter; or
(2) a running lamp, headlamp, taillamp, backup lamp, or turn signal lamp that is used as authorized by law.
(d) A vehicle may be equipped with alternately flashing lighting equipment described by Section 547.701 or 547.702 only if the vehicle is:
(1) a school bus;
(2) an authorized emergency vehicle;
(3) a church bus that has the words "church bus" printed on the front and rear of the bus so as to be clearly discernible to other vehicle operators;
(4) a tow truck while under the direction of a law enforcement officer at the scene of an accident or while hooking up to a disabled vehicle on a roadway; or
(5) a tow truck with a mounted light bar which has turn signals and stop lamps in addition to those required by Sections 547.322, 547.323, and 547.324, Transportation Code.
Have had my Santa Fe now for about a week and the wife noticed a small flashing red light on dashboard almost to windshield. Looked in manual and cannot find anything about it.
