View 5 RepliesI've searched all over and can't seem to find the answer. When I pull the tail light out of my 12 F150 there is a blue/wht wire and a black wire going to the back up light. I assume the blue wire is the positive and black is the ground. Is that correct?

View 4 RepliesIn my 1999 Jeep Cherokee, with a 4.0L inline 6, I need to find the color of the wiring harness wire from the pre-catalytic convertor oxygen sensor. I think it's the black with dark green strip, but I have found conflicting information on the internet and in my Haynes book.
View 4 RepliesI bought a DVD version of the shop manual several years back. Apparently they expire? Mine will start, but it won't open anything. It says it is expired, and to discard the disk.
Anyway, what color the (+) reverse light wire is under the dash?
So my son cut the factory speaker wires on his Explorer. I bought a new radio for him prior to the "CUT" and the new radio comes with a simple wire harness (2 green, 2 purple, 2 white, 2 grey). The picture shows the factory wires attached to factory module. The "New" speaker wire harness identifies which wire is for what speaker but I need to know what factory speaker wire would attached to the new wires. Based on the picture, how to identify the speaker wires and determine which wire goes to which speaker?

Which color(s) the reverse light wires are in the trunk?
What is the color wire coming out of the fuse box for the Trailer Tow Battery Charge? It's number 115 in the fuse box and a 20amp FMX fuse I believe. It's a 2005 6.0l 2WD Eddie Bower Excursion...
View 14 RepliesI have a 99 f150 XL 4.6, 5 speed. I spent some time tracing the leads around the ignition system to find the EDIS module. The purpose of this is to install a aftermarket tach coming off the EDIS. This seems to be a simple approach and I have a pin diagram handy for it. I am initially shying away from tapping into the EEC. Maybe better yet, what wire color to splice behind the gauge cluster that would be useful too.

View 2 RepliesIm currently installing a remote starter on my 07 camry and it wants me to tie into the "parking light" fuse or wire. It is a Bulldog system, on the website it describes it as "Black (-) wire" located at "BodyECU in vehicle fuse box 26 pin plug pin 23" The fuse box cover does not identify fuses by number and i do not see anything that looks to be parking light related.
View 1 RepliesI have a huge problem!!! While I'm driving every week my 07 Santa Fe just "kicks out". First my touch screen system cuts off then the car will stop running. This morning every time I hit the brakes my check engine light would pop on then my touch screen and lights would "restart". As I was pulling into my neighborhood it completely cut out of me. Nothing worked, not even the power door locks. And I couldn't put it in park. This has never happened. Usually it just kicks out, restarts and then I can go. This has got to stop!!
In the past when this has happened I was able to pop the hood and wiggle the wire on the battery. Then my lights and everything turn back on and I can continue to go where I was going. Battery and connectors were replaced in June 2012
What are the symptoms of a bad CPS. This thing is driving me crazy. Iv'e changed the accelerator, Throttle body, plugs. It runs really sluggish when in gear, sputters.
View 1 RepliesHave a 2007 and everything was running fine all day today. Stopped at home for a few hours and went back out to run a few more errands and my truck started running poorly, dashboard lights were dimming, and the ESC OFF & ABS dummy lights came on as well as the red battery light. Managed to turn around and make it back home. Sounds like my battery needs replacing? Hopefully its just the battery and not the alternator.
View 22 RepliesI have an 07 with the 3.3L and on start up the engine runs really rough and while driving when warm it keeps losing power with a regular rhythm. It almost feels like and injector or ign coil is dropping out. I have no CEL and have recently changed the spark plugs and rear upper O2 sensor.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2009 SantaFe Diesel and am having a few issues.
Firstly, of late it has been running rough when I back off the accelerator but hold the current speed. Almost like a mis-firing feeling. AT about 1500 RPM
Secondly, I was driving down the freeway recently, the car started to labour going up a long hill, so I tried to kick it back a gear using the accelerator but it wouldn't do it. It stayed in top gear and struggled. I had to manually do it with the gearshift.
About 12 months ago, I was having problems with the car completely losing power on a quick takeoff from standing still (say at a roundabout) but that seemed to fix itself.
