I have a 2009 Santa Fe SE. When it is parked in the driveway a red flashing light is seen coming from the driver's side dashboard light sensor. I've searched the owner's manual and can't find anything about what it means. What it is?
View 21 Replies2010 Santa Fe has an intermitent knocking under drivers side of dashboard. It sounds like hard plastic hiting hard plastic. Tried to look up behind dash, but minimal clearence. Its a very obnoxious noise.

View 19 RepliesI have just had my 2007, 2.2 CRTD Santa Fe serviced at the dealers.
When it came out, I drove it home and the drivers side airbag warning light came on. I rang them to which they replied get it back in when you can and we will check it.
When it went back in, the confirmed that it required a new airbag. Not being familiar with airbags, would it really be a replacement of the whole unit?
I just noticed on another post ( the guy with the long list from his 2010 ) that he had moisture in the drivers side tail light, I have the same thing.
View 7 RepliesI recently bought a Santa fe 2007 Limited 3.3L, it has 101500 miles. The issue is that when i run the scan it has 3 minor sensors that needs to be replaced but my biggest concern is that the check engine light does not come on in the dashboard even when i turn the ignition to on.
I need to know if there is a fuse that can cause this or a bulb in the dashboard that i can replaced for myself or if it is something else.
I have a 2008 Santa Fe Limited. Today I briefly turned the heat on since the outdoor temp was cool. Later in the day, I resumed the A/C AUTO setting at 72 for BOTH sides of upper vent outlets. I soon noticed that the driver's side blows warm air and the passenger side blows cold air as it should. No amount of adjusting the temp control either up or down had any effect on the driver's side except for constant warm air. Now I know the passenger side can be adjusted separately but both sides were set for the same temp. Never had this happen before. Always before, if I wanted warm air, the warm air would come through the floor outlets. What's causing warm air to come out the top driver's side vents when it should be cold? Could a diverter door be stuck?
View 2 RepliesI have a strange problem. My driver side low beam dont work and my right side high beam dont work. Try different relay (switching), check fuse, bulb etc. Also in my dashboard the right green arrow for the flasher always still on(solid).
If I activate (with the control arm) the right turn flasher the flasher light blink in the dash board and my outside flasher bulb flash but my left high beam also blinking in the same time!
I have a 2007 hyundai Santa Fe GLS. When the AC is on the drivers side blows hot air and the passenger side cold air. Both actuators are working driver side and passenger side. I watched them engage as I changed air flow and temp. What I should look at next? Also, the rear ac button light will not come on and it blows hot as well.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2008 Santa Fe with 64341 miles on it. This past weekend we had it inspected at the dealer. Drove it home, in the rain/snow, and it sat in the drive way for a day while it was raining. This morning when I went to go to work, still raining, the check engine light came on and was flashing. Went to auto zone to get the check engine light code, the said that it was a P0303 which according to them was a misfire in cylinder 3. So I brought it to the dealer to leave it and have them check it out. On the way their the check engine light started to flash, when I walked in and told the service desk that they said that it was a catastrophic failure.
View 10 RepliesI have a 2007 Santa Fe that will only produce heat on the driver side of the vehicle. It does not have dual climate control. So I changed out the heat control actuator and it did not work. I manually moved the lever and still nothing. The air will go from all sections perfectly.

View 7 RepliesAbout 4 months ago, I had the battery replaced since the car was not starting easily and they said voltage was not good. They also shimmed the ignition coil at the same time. I thought it was a bit early for a new battery but ok.
Last Friday I started getting a flashing battery light on the console but no other issues. Thought I would bring it in Monday.
Sunday I was driving on the highway and all warning lights came on, flashing, console died then came back on with a bunch of warning lights and then the car died. I managed to get off the highway with about 10% power and park in a lot. Car would not start once I turned it off, click, click, click, click like no power etc but rest of power in car seemed fine. Started fine Monday morning and I drove it to the dealership.
The dealership says the code was P2502 (Charging System Voltage). They are going to replace the Battery Sensor first and then if that doesn't work replace the Alternator.
My driver door lock will not work with either of my key fobs. or with the switch on the inside. it has to be manually locked/unlocked or the key used in the door..
View 18 RepliesI have an 8 month old vehicle that will not lock the driver side door lock (using the power lock, fob and/or when you take the vehicle out of park). The issue seems to go away, but returns usually right after I get it back from the dealership. On a side note all of the other door locks activate and deactivate fine.

View 3 RepliesI had to replace a seized caliper last month on front driver side. Replacement went without a hitch. However I recently noticed pulling to the left pretty severe on the driver side. Also at speeds between 5 and 15 MPH I hear chatter from the front end.
*Every boot on the suspension is in good shape.
*Nothing rubbing against the rotor
*Chatter does not occur when turning the wheel
* Feel some play pulling from 10 and 3 on the tire
* Tires up in the air and spinning I don't hear any chatter
* Stabilizers are tight and sound
Im not good at diagnosing suspension, how to properly diagnose? Based on my prior experience with vehicles I am thinking Ball Joint in this case?
The driver side rear marker light, stop & tail lights as well as the front park light have stopped working...its not any of the bulbs..just wondering if it is a fuse or a grounding issue? i cant seem to locate a fuse for the driver side lights... Where to begin looking for a ground problem (assumed to be the issue)

View 6 RepliesLast night, while my wife was driving, the battery light on her instrument panel started flashing. This morning the battery light came back on when she started the car. As she was driving on the highway, the ABS light, the stability light, and couple other lights came on, plus her she was losing power to her wheels. She said it then felt like the car was towing a heavy object and that there was no power going to the wheels or any other part of the car. She was able to drive it a few miles to a parking lot, where it died.
When she tried to restart it, she heard a clicking sound, but had no power and the engine was not turning over. She could not remote lock the doors because the all power was gone.
The tow truck driver tested the car and said the battery is fine, but that the alternator was dead. She had it towed to the dealer, who also says it is the alternator that is the problem.
This all occurred after we had a previous, and resolved issue, to the instrument panel (including the light around the cigarette lighter) and the taillights going out intermittently. The dealer disconnected the electrical connection to the towing package and the lights have stayed on since.
Seems odd to have an alternator go on a two-year old vehicle (we bought it new in Jan 2011). Could it actually be the alternator or something else?
When I roll up or down the driver side glass, it sometimes gives squeaking sound. Checked with one Garage; said there is no quick fix for this.
