I have a 2010 Santa Fe. The passenger front door does not close well. It needs a very firm push to latch completely. Regular push and it only catches first click and bounces partially open. I loosened the catch on the jamb, but it seems this is not adjustable.

View 9 RepliesI'm a new owner of a Santa Fe 07. My car will not completely lock with the remote. I have to remember to manually check it if the alarm doesn't beep. All the other doors will lock except this one door behind the driver. My model is AWD, it the 7 passenger one . It's not the base model. I didn't have the hard copy of the manual but I have a digital copy. We just got this on 4/24/15. It has 90 warranty but don't think they will fix this issue that I thought was only the childproof lock mechanism somehow or was not a big deal but now I'm not so sure.
View 9 RepliesI noticed today that the bass from the Infinity stereo in my Santa Fe was making my passenger door rattle pretty bad. I haven't noticed this before (maybe it was from the cold weather?)
Has taking off inner door panels fixed the rattle? I read a few threads that made it sound like people just took them to the dealer.
I have a 2007 santa fe and my rear passenger door is locked shut and i cant remove the door card to gain access to the lock ! i have tried the key fob and all the other doors lock and unlock fine !
The lock lever inside the car for the offending rear door flickers when you try and unlock the door with the fob but that is all .
Over the past month, I've started to notice a rattling noise/ticking coming from the front passenger door/"B" pillar area of the SFS. More so on bumpier roads... so I'm sure something has come loose somehow....

View 8 RepliesThe passenger door doesn't always want to close? It's being very finicky. Basically, every so often (with no regularity) it seems as though the door won't "catch" and close. If I pull but the interior handle, and/or exterior handle a few times it eventually gets there.
Like (probably most of you) I replaced the actuator, and even had to replace the window motor on this side, so I'm intimately familiar with the inner workings of these doors, and how everything has to be taken apart to do any work with them.
It's pretty annoying, and I'm worried the thing could just fly open while I'm on the road.

View 2 RepliesRecently, I noticed that the left passenger side door will not close all the way. It seems that it needs a bit of excessive force for it to close all the way when I'm closing it, otherwise it will not close properly. The other 3 doors close normal. At first I thought it was my wife that leaving the door like this until I experienced it myself. I close the other 3 doors like you would close a normal car door and they pass with flying colors. However, when I close the left passenger door, it didn't close shut. I wonder what can I do to make it close normal like the other doors. GX470 2008....
View 5 RepliesI have a 2007 CRDi Santa Fe with 135k on the clock. Regularly serviced however in the past year we've heard a rumble / vibration coming from the vehicle.
Location feels / sounds underneath driver / front passenger footwells and only occurs on strenuous acceleration i.e off a round about going up hill. It doesn't occur at any other time.
It's been in and out of the Dealership but they haven't been able to replicate the problem.
Just recently I went to overtake another vehicle at around 100kmh when I lost all drive to the wheels. The engine was running normally, there were no warning lights on the dash but no matter how hard I pressed the accelerator i had no forward drive other than coasting.
I wondered if the exhaust was loose or an exhaust or other supporting bracket had failed but as previously mentioned the Dealership can't find the problem?
I am getting a clunk from the front passenger side when going over bumps or when the road is not smooth.
It seems to happen at lower speed, so when I am on the highway, I cannot hear anything. The sway bar link seems to be the common thing, but when the car was lifted, there was oil on one of the struts.
2008 3.3 Santa Fe ... The car has 115k KM. Is this a normal thing for it to fail at this point? Last time I had clunks in the suspension it was a sway bar link that was repaired at the dealer under warranty. I can't remember if this is the same sound or not.
Here is what is happening, if I press the unlock and lock button on remote or from any switch in the car , the front passenger door will not unlock! all of the doors will lock and unlock, except the front passenger dorr will not unlock only, it does lock,just not unlock, i think it may be a bad motor or actuator, I am sure it will be covered under the CPO warranty, especially since its only been less than 1 week since i had it.
View 10 RepliesWe just upgraded our Prius from Gen 3 to Gen 3....a 2012. Great ride, just drove it from SoCal on a Sierra Mtns road trip, a little hiking and snowboarding for our spring break. What we failed to notice upon purchase was a passenger door whose controls want work! The drivers door can lock the car and operate the passenger window and lock. However, the passenger door switch won't open or close the window, nor will it lock the door. All other doors and locks work normally.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2000 Lexus RX300. The rear passenger side door randomly does not close when I click on the alarm. When this happens, the alarm does not turn on and then the rest of the alarm system starts acting up until I manually close all the doors and then turn on the alarm. After I do this, the alarm works well. My dad and I opened the door that I am always having trouble with to see if anything was loose, but it all seemed ok. Do the problem is with the door or the alarm?

No sound when button pushed. All other windows and power work. Recently, I have had to have engine on to open/close same window. I just want the window up,I can live with not opening window.
I picked up my Santa Fe yesterday. 7 seater Premium manual.
However the clutch does not seem to disengage until very close to the floor almost to the extent that I feel the gears crunch and r a little notchy in use because of this ???
Is this a characteristic of the manual gearbox for the new model ???
I had an interesting ride home tonight. I accidentally lowered my front passenger window a little bit and when I tried to raise it I just got a clicking noise. So I drove along hitting the button, hoping the window would close, but it wouldn't. Then, the dash lights and head lights started pulsating/flickering. The engine power wasn't affected and the battery gauge wasn't moving. My vehicle is a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer with 173,0000 miles on it. Replaced the battery a few years back and have had no other electrical problems.
View 19 RepliesI have my second 1999 as class Mercedes and both have the same problem. The door assist system stop working on the passenger door in the trunk. The only way to get it working again is to remove the fuse associated with that system and reseat it.
