Both the front and rear window washers are not working on my 2010 Santa Fe...There is no indication that the pumps are working making NO noise..
At times before this, the front was intermittent Where it would work but then all of a sudden now both won't work at all..
Front wipers stopped working while driving. trying to trouble shoot problem. wondering what fuses to check?
View 2 RepliesWhen the temperature drops below about 30 degrees f, the windshield washer won't spray. I am using washer fluid so I don't think that it is freeing or that there is any water in the lines. I read somewhere that this might be a defective motor, part number 98510-26100.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2007 Santa Fe GLS. The washer fluid light came on and I filled the reservoir with a complete jug of washer fluid. When I went to use the wipers no fluid came out of the front sprayers but the back one worked until it was completely empty in a matter minutes. When I stepped out of the car, there was a big puddle fluid on my side of the car. What this most likely is. I know there are a couple different scenarios from the reservoir being cracked to the pump. But just thought it was weird that the back sprayer was working before the tank was empty and front wasn't working at all.
View 4 RepliesBefore you all say it, yes I have made sure that the "door" button has been pushed. The front done light will work when I turn on the individual map lights. However when I open the front doors they no longer automatically come on. I am going to bring it to the dealer ( I am assuming it is a faulty "door" switch) just wanted to see what you all thought before I bring it to them.

View 13 RepliesJust bought a 2003 Passat wagon. The rear windshield washer wasn't working: when I used it, the fluid would stream straight back toward the car behind me. Fun for me, but other drivers were not so impressed.
I realized I was missing the plastic cap piece, so I ordered one and installed it. But now the stream just sort of shoots into the cap, and doesn't get on the window at all. I'm not sure if I'm missing another piece or what? The "nozzle" that's on there points straight back, but I don't see how this cap is supposed to "redirect" the flow.
My windshield washer tank is leaking, need instructions on how I can fix it myself? Does the phone bumper have to come off, or is there a simple way to remove/replace it?

I started some troubleshooting and missed some clear indicators of the problem.
->Rear fluid works
->No pump engagement when trying the front fluid
Wasn't sure if I had 1 or 2 pumps (separate front and back or just one) so I bought one, tore out the reservoir (that air intake was a tough one), swapped the pumps and PRESTO! Still didn't work.
This leads me to believe I should have realized it was switch/power related all along. I don't mind tearing things apart, but I'm not good with electrical. Should I just buy a new whole stock and see if that works? My fuse isn't blown and seems to also be for the power windows, which do work, so I think I should be fine from that point.
I've got a MkV R32, and I had an '07 GTI before it. I never had this problem with my GTI, but with the R32, the rear wiper jet had become clogged, and then started moving from it's 12 o'clock position to 9 o'clock with the wiper arm when in use.
I replaced the jet last week, which seemed to solve part of the clog issue, but the jet/nozzle, still moves. I am going to try popping the rear hatch cover off today to try and see what if there's an issue there, (I suspect there is, as I have washer fluid leaking through the hatch latch still, MkV R32.
I suspect there is a buildup of residue on something that it dragging on the new nozzle. I don't want to mess something up....
A weird problem occurred today on my 07 with 61000 miles, with no accidents or electrical problems before. When i pull the right stalk towards me to activate the front wiper washers, the rear washer turns on, and nothing at all comes out of the front washers, but the front wipers would still wipe several times as they normally would when front washers are activated.
View 6 RepliesHave a 2011 Golf TDI hatchback. Located in Toronto, Canada where it's about - 20 Celsius with windchill today. Currently have no washer fluid coming through the front or rear nozzles. Thought I was out of fluid but tank is full. Tried piercing the nozzles but nothing changed and they don't look blocked. Don't think it's the weather either as my car is parked in my garage overnight. When I try to spray I can hear the mechanism trying to spray but nothing comes out.

View 8 RepliesI just bought an 07 Hyundai Entourage (Kia Sedona clone) a little over a month ago. We had our first storm last week and my wife tried to use the washer fluid on the rear and it didn't work (it was below freezing). I looked at it and the front didn't work either (no noise from pump motor either). So I found out it has a pump for the front and one for the rear but they are on the same fuse. Checked the fuse and it was blown.
I thought maybe it was due to the fluid in the car freezing (no anti freeze fluid probably). Put the new fuse in, tried the front for about 5 seconds and it worked. Tried the rear for 5, it worked. Tried the front again, nothing. Tried the rear again nothing. Pulled the fuse again accept it wasn't blown. Put a couple of different fuses in. Nothing. I did this while it was above freezing...? could both pumps have burnt up at the same time? Is there any other fusible link between the motor and switch?
About a month ago my ac stopped pushing any air out, but it only lasted for a day or so...then it has worked fine for the last month.
This morning it stopped again. No obvious signs of anything wrong, what might be causing this? not enough freon? I do get air when I turn it to the button that shows air coming from outside when I am at fast speeds, but not on the recirculation button. (I don't know the technical names of these button modes)
I have the 2012 Santa Fe Limited, bought brand new 0 miles off the lot.
I have a 2009 Santa Fe . The AC blower fan will have some days where it just doesn't work. I have taken it to the dealer on 4 occasions without the issue being rectified. It seems that unless it isn't working on the day , they won't even look for an issue.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. At first just the left head light went out, the next night I tried to turn my headlights on and they didn't come on. The high beams work but the low beams doesn't. I've replaced the bulbs from assuming they went bad. That didn't work, so I checked out the fuses, all of them were good. I don't know what else to check.
View 3 RepliesThe rear wiper on one of my two 2004 Santa Fe has stopped working. Checked that the fuses are OK.
Then I swapped the wiper motor and then the control unit to the other Santa Fe & both work in it so are OK.
What else could be causing the problem?
I have a 2003 hyundai santa fe 2.7 V6, the problem i am facing is i want to fix my rear wiper as it is not working, I order a new rear wiper motor as my old rear wiper motor was completely rusted, so i got a brand new one with a new wiper now the problem is it still does not work, i checked the fuse as well but it still is not working.
the only last option i can think of is rear wiper control module, how do i check that or does any one has any clue how to fix the rear wiper as mine is not working at all.
