2007 Sante Fe Limited original owner. 87000 miles, great car. Having a problem with battery light coming on and then going off, also seat belt light off and on but no sound. The other night my ESC light came on for a while. New battery, alternator and serpentine belt installed a few months ago.
View 25 RepliesGoing down the highway the other day my '07 SE started to flash the battery and seat belt "dummy lights" in the instrument cluster. There was no discernible change in power, other lighting, or anything else that I can tell. The lights didn't seem to flash in any particular pattern either....
What this might be?.....other than gremlins?
I have a 2009 Sante Fe AWD: What it means when the battery and seat belt lights flash on the dashboard while driving? The headlights also dim slightly and sporadically as if there is a huge load on the system. No noticeably pull or drag while driving.
View 5 RepliesI replaced the battery in my 2006 Hyundai Sonata (3.3 V6) 3 weeks ago. 5 days ago the battery light and seat belt lights started flashing. Both lights would flash then go off. This occurred on and off for 2 days (no change in driving condition) then stopped for 2 days. Today the lights are flashing again and right before turning my car off, the check engine light came on. I turned the car off, then re-started and the check engine light remains on. What could be causing this?

How you turn it off but I am asking the opposite, no matter how annoying that sound its safer to have that belt on.
Yesterday I changed battery after that its seems malfunction indicator lamp stays on, i checked with hyundai service center they told to reset the program then diagnose the problem, then only come to know the issue or not issue they asked 20rial, i m wondering just changed the battery got some issue.

When I pull outward, lengthening just the shoulder harness, the light stops flashing. Letting go of the shoulder strap starts the light flashing again. Is there a sensor near the floor where the shoulder strap take up roller winds and unwinds the strap?

Only on the driver side. When the seat belt indicator goes off I wiggle the seat belt buckle and the indicator goes away.
View 7 RepliesSo it seems as if either the switch in the driver's side seat belt indicator is sticking (off, indicating my seat belt is NOT fastened even though it is), or it's broken. Although, it doesn't do this EVERY time I fasten my seat belt, it's doing it more frequently. I have to refasten it (multiple times) to get it to see it's fastened.
View 5 RepliesI have an 09 Accord (LX), one day the airbag light (SRS indicator) on the dash would stay on when driving, and the Seatbelt Reminder Indicator would detect the driver's seatbelt isn't engaged, even when it is.
A day later, the seatbelt indicator resumed normal operation, but the SRS light still remained on. I took it to two separate dealers and neither of them could connect to the SRS Control Unit to pull error codes from the onboard computer. They say I need to replace the SRS Control Unit to even begin troubleshooting this problem.
Can I replace my own SRS unit without accidentally triggering my airbags? Where do I order it? How do I make sure it is the correct part? Is it easy? Or I have a separate problem?
Ok so first the battery light came on then all the other lights on the dash came on, ended up dying and we replaced the battery but the abs, esc break light and battery light still are on the dashboard. Also I can use the shift release to drive the car but other then that it is stuck in park. I was reading that the car has a atm but I don't know where its located.

It has been coming on a lot more lately,with no loss of power...I do have a mass air flow code coming up with no issues as far as the car goes..no issues driving. So with a new alternator and battery put in what can be the issue?
View 4 RepliesThis morning I asked the Hyandai dealer in Hilton Head, SC to repair the passenger seat belt warning bell in my 2014 Sante Fe. They said there was nothing wrong with the warning bell and that there was no error code in the system. They also claimed that the passenger front seat was not designed to have its own warning bell. Strange since it had always worked that way before. After a fairly long discussion it seems they did not want to fix this safety issue because it apparently involves replacing the seat.

View 26 RepliesThe headrest of back seat will bend over when fold down the seat. But one of the headrests can't go back to original up position. The dealer has adjusted the cable but this just temporarily fixed the problem. The problem is back again. I will go back to dealer but can they really fix it? Should I ask for a replacement of the whole seat?
View 1 Repliesadjust the electrically adjustable seat to her position. Since that is quite further forward than my programmed position the seatbelt was quickly choking her. So before I knew (I was sitting next to her) she unbuckled, with a bang.The bang was because there was quite a lot of pressure on the seatbelt.
No harm, nothing broken, at least ... until I heard the ping ping ping sound even though both of our seatbelts were in their sockets or whatever you call them. Inserting again, no change. Still the 'seatbelt light' on + the annoying sound.
Should I try to open the seatbelt socket/block/the thing where you insert your seatbelt in and see if there is some broken wire inside ?

View 3 RepliesFor the first time I noticed a little glowing light[s] in my drivers seat belt buckle [female end....actually 2 lights, one on each side of the female part where the male end inserts]. It glows for about 10 seconds when starting up. Probably useful for connecting seat belt in the dark. What it does at night under normal driving conditions.
I did not see the same light on the passengers' side. Don't know if there is not one or it only works when there is weight in the seat.
Esoteric little item....but just wondering if there should be the same light on the passenger side and , if so, where /how to troubleshoot? Would it be a bulb or built in to the buckle? I did not check rear seat....I will do that next...
I wear seatbelts and make sure passengers wear them too while driving. However, many times I keep heavy boxes on the passenger side seat...
And I am sure you all know how irritating that warning sound is (for 24 secs)
How do i disable it in 2007 Toyota Camry LE ?
I just did a brake job on my 2002 2.7l and 10 minutes after driving both the e brake and battery indicator light came on not the abs. It is not throwing any dtc codes also. Did I do something wrong or is it a coincidence meaning my alternator is crapping out? I replaced all pads and front rotors and sucked out some dirty fluid and added clean fluid. It brakes properly and I do not believe I got air in the system.
View 4 RepliesI just sold my 2006 GS430 to pick up a 2007 LS460. So far I have no complaints.
First off: I am NOT condoning driving without a seatbelt. Merely asking a question.
In my gs430 I can go through a series of commands to disable the seat belt buzzer from beeping while i drive without a seat belt. I've browsed the forums and haven't seemed to find the same thing for the LS460.
Is it even possible it to disable it without having the dealer reprogram?
