All the sudden AC will stop blowing cold and engine temp will start rising but radiator doesn't seem to heat up. Will correct itself after about 10 minutes. 3.3L 130,000 miles
View 9 RepliesI have a 2007 Camry LE with 86K miles. The car was burning oil like crazy and failed the oil consumption test so Toyota put a new motor in the car. I picked it up from the dealer 2 weeks ago and after driving it 40 miles, the transmission went out. The dealership had it towed that day and now after 2 weeks of them not returning my calls or providing any update, they tell me that it was coincidence that my transmission failed 1 hour after I picked it up from them. What are the chances that it had nothing to do with the work they've done?
When I brought it in it was driving fine - the only problem was the oil consumption, no slipping or knocking. Now you can drive it for 20 minutes just fine, but as soon as it warms up, the transmission quits.
I recently bought a Santa fe 2007 Limited 3.3L, it has 101500 miles. The issue is that when i run the scan it has 3 minor sensors that needs to be replaced but my biggest concern is that the check engine light does not come on in the dashboard even when i turn the ignition to on.
I need to know if there is a fuse that can cause this or a bulb in the dashboard that i can replaced for myself or if it is something else.
My engine runs smooth in park or neutral. put it in gear and there is a slight vibration or the engine is running a little rough. is it the tranny trying to move the fluid? is this normal? Is this a vacuum leak? 2007 2.4 liter.
View 2 RepliesChanged timing belt after several teeth being stripped. Engine runs but won't idle without foot on gas pedal. Drives smooth as long above 2000 rpm. Thinking there is one or more slightly bent valves. Quadruple checked timing marks. Coils are good. Fuel injectors are good. Spark plugs are new NGK's. DTC's are 0300, 0301, 0302, 0303, 0304 - misfiring.
Have a line on a low mileage head with warranty. 2007 Accent 1.6L?
Weird deal here, the backup light fuse blows on a 1999 Neon and the AC quits blowing cold. I replace the fuse and the AC starts blowing cold. I found out this is the #8 fuse, 10 amp and it controls the rear window heat, fan relay, ac cycling switch and backup lights.
View 6 RepliesMy 05 Grand Am has about 75,000 miles on it. It has been a good car minus the occational strut mount replacement and front wheel bearing assembly. This cruise control problem has been going on for a couple years now.
It will just randomly quit while i'm going down the highway. Sometimes it wont do it for weeks, or sometimes do it 10 times in a 30 mile drive. Sometimes it will resume after i press the button once, sometimes i can hit it many times, sometimes it just seems to quit for a minute or two.
The wife and i took a 3 hour roadtrip this weekend and i was fuming after hitting the resume button dozens of times. We had alot of interstate traffic to dodge, alot of people on my butt. Thats not the greatest time for the cruise to be having problems.
She had it at the dealership right before the warranty was up and they said they "think" they know what it is, but their insurance company wont let them just change out $500 parts just because they "think" it's that part. I didn't hear about this at first from her or we would have made them fix it. What good is a warranty if they wont fix the problem you have?
I was hoping this is a common occurance with an easy fix. I am pretty good at working on my own vehicles so i can check certain parts if need be. What seems to be the most common problems to check when your cruise control has these problems?
2001 MB E320. While traveling at the posted speed, 75mph the accelerator quits working. The speed control will still work and the accelerator will work after some play and time. When I stop the car and turn off the ignition and then start the car again the accelerator works fine. This has happened only twice but I'm afraid it will continue and happen more often. I traced the accelerator cable to a small box on the left side pf the engine.

This morning it stopped again. No obvious signs of anything wrong, what might be causing this? not enough freon? I do get air when I turn it to the button that shows air coming from outside when I am at fast speeds, but not on the recirculation button. (I don't know the technical names of these button modes)
I have the 2012 Santa Fe Limited, bought brand new 0 miles off the lot.
I have a 2009 Santa Fe . The AC blower fan will have some days where it just doesn't work. I have taken it to the dealer on 4 occasions without the issue being rectified. It seems that unless it isn't working on the day , they won't even look for an issue.
View 4 RepliesI have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. At first just the left head light went out, the next night I tried to turn my headlights on and they didn't come on. The high beams work but the low beams doesn't. I've replaced the bulbs from assuming they went bad. That didn't work, so I checked out the fuses, all of them were good. I don't know what else to check.
View 3 RepliesThe heater fan quits working on colder days. It is not the fan motor, as twice after it has quit, several days later the fan began working again. As controls are switched, the indicators light and mode shifting sounds can be heard. It seems to be that the fan quits on the colder days (<38 deg) the will resume working again when the outside temperature exceeds 50 degrees.
View 7 RepliesI've seen a couple posts about low beam lights not working suddenly, but no real fixes to the issue. Looking for an actual fix that worked.
My lights; running, fog, high, and low beam, all worked yesterday. This morning when I try to go to work, all but the low beam lights work. Nothing was done differently, all fuses and relays appear to be intact, and the bulbs appear to be fine.
My headlights worked on Tuesday. Wednesday night driving home I put my headlights on and neither is working. My brake lights, directional and highbeams work. The only thing that doesn't is the headlights.
I replaced both headlights and still not working. I purchase fuses 15A and switch the fuses which were blown and it resulted in my horn going off. I had someone check with a gauge and there is power in the light socket. We tried to replace the fuse again and the horn went off. We removed the fuse for the horn and replaced the fuses for the headlights and the horn still went off even though the fuse was missing.
The mechanic, checked my fuse box and wires around it and was not able to determine the issue.
The stock stereo doesn't use the full range of speakers unless I use XM or my ipod. I'd love to listen to the radio with the same range of sound. Is there a code fix from the dealer?
I'm embarrassed to admit that I've waited 5+ years to try and fix it.

2007 Santa Fe. Recently my turn signal has not been working. It seems to act finicky and not want to work every time I need it too. I noticed that this happened once every blue moon in the winter time when I purchased the vehicle new back in '07. However it has been occurring more frequently as of the past 3 days.
I have checked the fuse and it is fine. My hazard signals work when my turn signal works if that is any additional indication of what might be going on. What can be done to remedy the situation?
The passenger window on my 07 Santa Fe isn't working. I took everything apart and I even removed the motor from the door and it seems like there is just constant power going to the motor because when I plug it in the motor starts going even before I hit the switch.
I also removed the motor from the regulator too and the regulator seems fine and no cables are broken or off their wheels. When I do hit the window switch either way the window motor stops too. I'm not sure if my issue is on the driver side switch or the passenger side because both do the same thing...
The 2012 SF I bought last weekend has a sticker on the radiator brace near the left head light stating the vehicle has a remote start function and there is a blue button with a key symbol on the fob that (I think) is supposed to make it work, but I have yet to get the remote start to operate. What's the secret? Is there a selection in the ECU that enables/disables it? Do I need to cross my eyes when I push the button? This would be great to have on cold or hot mornings - if I can get it to work.
View 4 RepliesNever seen this problem before. Thought I had a leak in the system and had to have it serviced. The AC did not seam to be blowing cold. It would take forever to cool off. Was trying to get as much air on me as possible so I decided to point the passenger side vents towards the drivers side to cool off in the mean time. I noticed the passenger side was cold. Air is blowing out of the drivers side but not cold like the passenger side.
View 2 RepliesI had a remote start installed on my santa fe and initially it worked great. Recently it stopped working correctly. The car still starts but my heat/defrost will no longer turn on. I have tried every combination possible but when I get in the car the heat is turned completely off and will only turn on when I put the key in the ignition and manually start the car.
