But one thing that drives me nuts is whenever we watch a video on our idevices, the sound of the person's voice is out of sync with their lip movements, by a few seconds. Have others experienced this, and if so is there a solution?

View 2 Replies2011 Subaru Outback; in January of 2015 the airbag warning icon shows on the dashboard and a loud alarm sound is played. If I turn the car off and on and I make it go away. Not easy when driving 75 mph on mountain highways. Dealer where I purchased the car has been useless; three visits there and a dozen unreturned phone calls.
View 3 RepliesI've taken on repairing my mother in laws '07 Prius after a drive-shaft broke and once at the dealers the quote was heading towards £2k with the worn discs/pads and leaking water pump added on. The discs and pads were a breeze and a drive shaft should be with me on Monday (it broke off in the outer cv, probably due to being hammered into the hub after a backstreet garage changed the spit boot) but the water pump or should i say coolant is proving tricky. I drained coolant from the rad and back of the petrol engine block and got about 2.5l or 3 quarts. I then removed the leaking pump, virtually no coolant came out of the pump housing and I fitted the new pump.
To refill the system I open the breather on the rad and slowly replaced all the fluid. I also refilled the petrol engine reservoir and put a drop in the inverter reservoir but that had not drained out. I reckon near enough the same amount went back in as came out. I read a post by Pat Wong and started the petrol engine in inspection mode and it seemed to run fine but just cut out after around 4-5 mins.
All along the VSC, ABS, yellow exclamation mark in circle and yellow square with sliding car in warning lights were on but not the big red triangle or yellow engine light. Also, the red exclamation in circle (handbrake?) will not go off. The inspection mode procedure still works but there seems a long delay with chirping sounds before the engine fires. It still runs fine but again cuts out after a few mins. Could it be shutting off due to brake/driveshaft issues or has air crept into the inverter? Maybe disconnecting the battery for five mins will reset the lights?
My car alarm goes off, or at least it tries to, when I open the car in the morning. Then every time I try and start the car, it seems to delay starting. IE. I put key in and it struggles to turn on, and lights dim.

View 5 RepliesI have a strange issue that just started happening. A whirring sound comes from the vent in the back seat I believe which sounds like escaping Air. Not like the last 2 years I've owned it. At the same time I noticed that the accelerator now takes a second to engage after I hit the pedal from a stop every time. Furthermore the engine seems to be over revving, as if engine braking. I've restarted the car a few times. I've checked all the fluid levels.
View 7 RepliesI would like to enable the OEM bluetooth on my 2008 Prius (NOT interested in aftermarket). The MFD service menu has bluetooth settings listed on the menu, but apparently there is no bluetooth hardware installed because it won't recognize bluetooth devices.
View 1 RepliesAs I am driving, occasionally, the abs and brake lights come on but only when I am using the bluetooth OBD2 connector with Torque running. Its happened 3 times in the past week. Almost everytime I use the app.
When they first came on I let the app do a trouble code scan and it said nothing was saved in the cpu. When I started the car the lights were off.
I noticed as soon as the c is in motion the bluetooth menu is not accessible. I'm sure this is a safety measure, but this has become a huge inconvenience for us. A lot of the times my wife needs to switch from iPod to phone during the trip.
View 14 RepliesThe dealer had my bluetooth set up for me but since day one theres been a buzzing noise when talking through it. Other people on here have experienced it as well. Someone on here said the cancelled theirs out and then reconnected their phone and the buzzing disappeared. I managed to disconnect mine but even following the owners manual, I can't get mine reconnected. It keeps saying no device found.
View 1 RepliesIt will sync for about 10-30 seconds, then the car's Bluetooth just shuts off. It's not my phone, as the BT on my phone is working with everything else. I have unpaired, re-paired, shut everything down. It starts up again for that 10-30 seconds, and then it shuts off. Do I need to take it to the dealer?

Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.

View 13 RepliesI have a 2011 Prius III without Nav. It has bluetooth pairing, and pairs with the Galaxy Nexus phone (android) to make and receive calls just fine. However, there seems to be no way to play music through the phone? (I currently have an audio cable which I plug into my phone. But for various reasons, this is far from an ideal solution for me.)
I have contacted the Toyota dealership where I bought the Prius and they seem to think this does not work. However, can this really be the case?
(1) Is there something I'm missing in order to play music through bluetooth on my phone?
(2) If there isn't, what are my after-market options for doing so? (I don't need navigation or anything else.)
Just got my Prius III last week and I've noticed that every time I leave the car, the bluetooth on my phone shows its still connected, even though the car is off and I'm no where near it. What's worse is that when I return to the car, it doesn't reconnect. So I'm not sure if its the phone or the car. I had bluetooth in my Tacoma for years and it worked fine, so it has to have something to do with the car. Its a Droid 4.
View 11 RepliesIve got an iphone 3g and a Prius with the Sat Nav, i saw a clip on you tube about a year ago with some guy playing music from his iphone via Bluetooth. Ive tried to do this and it doesn't, the phone is BT synced with the car for the handsfree phone but in the audio tab one called "BT" is grayed out im assuming thats the one i need its next to the "Aux" tab. I don't know if they guy was using some third party software or something

View 4 RepliesAndroid person myself but noticed on wife's iPhone 6s occasionally the audio via Bluetooth to the jbl system gets choppy . it basically keeps cutting on and off. She has to duly then disconnect Bluetooth on iPhone and then reconnect to remedy.
View 10 RepliesI have a Sprint HTC Hero. It worked fine on my Prius. I upgraded the phone from Android 1.5 to 2.1. I thought all was OK because the phone would connect to the car. The problem is that when I make a call or someone calls me everything looks OK until someone talks. Nothing. No voices. I can't hear the other person and they can't hear me.
