I found this issue today after using my PIP for about a month. Front driver side's windows switch can not open/close the rear windows ( With un-lock button depressed), It can control front passenger side windows.
View 3 RepliesI'm experiencing issues with the radio when I change from AM to FM. If on AM mode and I go to audio button or on Steering Switches and push FM, it switches to FM reception (get the radio station on FM) however read out on the screen still says AM and all the presets are in AM mode.
On the reverse from FM to AM same occurs.
Is this a software issue?
While driving home yesterday the navigation went crazy (2 month old 2012 PIP Std). While it was navigating me it started telling me to make a right while the arrow was pointing left. Then it started recalculating every 4-5 seconds. I turned navigation off and snapped a pick of it having me in the middle of a river.
View 4 RepliesI have noticed that when driving in EV mode when the car switches over to HV mode the Eco icon always lights up! Of course you can select Eco, or Power mode manually, but when it does this automatically, after the EV battery charge is used up, it keeps showing the Eco icon being lite not HV.

View 8 RepliesI've found it difficult trying to turn on the climate control in EV mode without engaging the ICE, especially on sunny mornings where it might be relatively cool outside (about 16-18 C/60-65 F) but the cabin is heating up quickly. I usually have it set to around 20-23 C (68-73 F) but usually in these conditions the ICE will start immediately after turning on the fans (AC off). How to avoid this? Or do I just need to set the climate control to "Lo" at the end of my previous journey? I've never been able to turn down the temperature quickly enough after turning it on without the ICE starting.
View 5 RepliesI've looked in the mounds of user manuals as well as searching here but can't find the answer to this question: How do you keep the EV screen showing on the upper dash after turning on radar cruise control? Even if I switch back to any of the EV screens the dang radar ready or the active radar screen takes over no matter how many times I go back to the EV screens. I have already set the option in setup to not automatically return to the previous screen on the 7" HDD screen.

View 14 RepliesRecently I was driving down the road in my 99 B5 1.8T AUTO and my power windows stopped working from all the interior switches. First thing I did was get out of the car and use the key to roll them down, which worked fine. Here is what I have tried/looked into so far:
- All fuses are fine except #14 which i replaced
- Swapped the master control switch in the drivers door
- Checked the wire harness under driver carpet and the ground wire for frays or breaks
- Checked the CCM connectors and board for anything burnt or damaged
I will also add that the locks work from the door switches and the power mirrors don't work as well.
Can I use the remote climate control switch to heat the cabin during cold mornings as well as cool the cabin during hot summer days?
View 8 RepliesI just bought a used 2012 pip with 26000 miles. I noticed that when I accelerate at the on ramp to reach the carpool lane, a noticeable vibration is felt from the front end of the car. The vibration subsides when I reach cruising speed. The steering wheel doesn't shake or vibrate, only the front end. I checked the tires and they look fine, they are the original tires that came with the car.
View 5 RepliesI have a 2010 Ford Escape. A few months ago, my power windows intermittently failed to work. The problem was most acute on the drivers window, but eventually spread. It's now reached a point where none of the windows work at all - neither from the drivers switches nor from the switch in each door. I replaced the fuse, but that's as far as I've gotten. My question is: what should I check next?

View 1 RepliesOdd thing happened this evening, I took the truck for a short drive, rolled down the drivers power window, and then needed to turn on the map light, but realized it didn't work, same with the radio. The clock on the radio works, and now none of the window switches do anything.. I tested every fuse under the dash, even swapped around all of the relays that have the same part number, to no avail.. Is there something simple I'm missing that is a common problem with these trucks? I'd hate to have to leave my window down for awhile till I figure it out on my own..
View 14 RepliesThis is driving me insane. I get popping and static from the front right speaker in my PIPA. It happens with the radio off. I can't make any sense of it. Happens typically at 30+ MPH. I know I will go into the dealer and they won't be able to duplicate it.
I have installed the nav bypass, but I don't think that could have any affect on it. I have also had side view mirrors and illuminated door sills installed. None of these have anything to do with the audio system.
Shut off the right front seatbelt beep? I asked Toyota, they will not do it. Do you need a OBDII II to do it?
View 1 RepliesAfter a short drive this evening (5 miles) in HV mode city 0-48mph driving I noticed a smell from the passenger front corner of the car. I went under the hood and looked and sniffed around. It is somewhere on the passenger side under the hood, but I did not see any fluids low or overflowing, and the oil looked normal. I just had my 15,000 mile service on Friday and only put on a few hundred miles since. I did not see anything dead in the radiator or under the car, and it is parking in a garage mostly.

Having just taken delivery of a pip I am wondering if there is any way to turn on the rear view camera when you are moving forward? It would actually provide better vision over the rear view mirror.

Biggest problem running a hundred plus Prius in LA is the skirt front bumper is so low to the ground (for better aerodynamics) ... less than 5 inches ground clearance when loaded ... it hits the ground and bows the side moldings of the bumper.
