I have a 2015 Plug in Prius and a Samsung Galaxy S5. I am having terrible bluetooth issues. It connects fine then after a minute or two the bluetooth on the cars gets turned off. I can turn of engine and turn it back on and it connects again for couple of minutes after that the bluetooth on prius shows turned off. It is terrible.
View 5 RepliesAfter about a min once bluetooth connects it fails. In setup under bluetooth it says it's off and pushing it does nothing. My phone shows bluetooth on and still paired. If I was talking to someone call does not get dropped but I have to pick up my phone and turn off bluetooth so I can hear them on phone speaker.
View 5 RepliesSo my 2012 camry with the touchscreen head unit connects to my phone just fine. It streams my music just fine as well. I however hate my phone calls, texts, etc coming through the car. After my phone connects to the car, I can go to the bluetooth menu and tell it to disconnect for phone and that takes care of it for that drive. But every time I get in the car I have to break that connection.
View 3 RepliesOccasionally, right after I start the car, the HDD display screen will be dark for a minute or two, and then display the map. I can go to the other screens, like Audio or the setup screens, but the map and the backup camera screens are dark. The still-functional buttons are responsive as usual (no delays/hangs). When the map finally "wakes up", it behaves normally. I don't have to do anything other than wait for it to wake up. It does this about 10% of the time. I have tried to correlate this to something, but it seems totally random.
View 4 RepliesIt will sync for about 10-30 seconds, then the car's Bluetooth just shuts off. It's not my phone, as the BT on my phone is working with everything else. I have unpaired, re-paired, shut everything down. It starts up again for that 10-30 seconds, and then it shuts off. Do I need to take it to the dealer?

Car: 2013 Prius v Three
Symptom: Bluetooth connects and works but then stops after a couple minutes. The Bluetooth Settings screen indicates "Bluetooth Off" at this point but will not turn back on if I press the button that should toggle it. All other options on the settings screen are dimmed out.
This morning our 2012 Plug in appeared to turn itself on with no key or person initiating it. Since is the first time we have noticed it in 2.5 years that might take a while. The possibility of not turning it off and human error seems like a comforting solution but we have not done that before and it doesn't alleviate our worries that this could happen again.
View 19 RepliesHave a 2010 Prius III (trim V), and a 2012 PIP. The 2010 has a fan that will circulate air when the car is parked. This feature is very useful especially if the car has been sitting in the sun on a hot day like today (and cracking the sunroof).
Got into the PIP today and it was like brick fired oven. Thought to myself maybe the fan was turned off, but unable to locate the button.
Do the outside air circulation fan exists for the PIP.
Just last night, I stopped to pick up my daughter and had to wait for 10 minutes or so, so left the parking lights on and put it into park. When we began to leave later, I noticed that there was no HSI or Speedometer showing when I turned the lights on (to include parking lights). I turned it off and on again, hoping that would take care of it. It did not. I put it through a charge cycle, still no change.

The Bluetooth is connected fine and calling still works but when I play music the screen shows that the music is playing but I get no sound from my speakers. I've tried resetting my phone and turned the car off and on to no avail.

Bluetooth audio malfunction. When I start to play a song, it plays fine for about 15 seconds, and then goes silent and seems to fast-forward to the end of the song, and then does the same thing with each subsequent song on the list.
View 2 RepliesSo naturally I thought a nail had punctured a tire leading to a slow leak. When I got home I found no nail and the tire pressure on all four tires even but down to about 36psi.
I refilled to my normal of 40/38 and reset the TPMS with the button below the steering wheel. The light stayed on for a minute or two of driving then turned off and stayed off for my commute to work.
What I think probably happened is that I reduced from 42/40 to 40/38 recently without a TPMS reset. Then this morning the temperature outside was 55F and about 65F in my garage. When I left the garage at 5:20AM the TPMS light was off. I drive about 2 mile to the gym each morning and park my C for about an hour. This morning, when I got back in the car the tires had cooled to 55F and I guess that was enough to reduce the pressure far enough to trip my warning light.
After my 25k service it seems the timer scheduler when the square button is pressed/held flashes at 7am. When i press the H button the hour advances to 12am then closes. I want to start the charge at 12am and finish at 5AM. The timer windows closes when i move the finish hour to 12am and then my regular clock hour changes. It used to be when i pressed/held the timer button the start time would show at 12 am and after setting it would go to the finish hour.
View 8 RepliesIf I'm using Bluetooth to listen to music and my headlights are on when I switch the headlights off to just parking and the daytime running lights the navigation/radio shuts off the music and goes to the off screen. At first I thought it was just a fluke, but then several more times I tried it and every time it turns off.

Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.

AC doesn't run when engine is turned off) was still running. I freaked out, immediately turned AC/Fan off and restarted it. It was successful after the first try. So my question is...what caused the car to turn off by itself? Is it because of my AC? I know FOR SURE...it's not because of
1. timing belt because i recently changed it.
2. battery but i installed a brand new last summer.
