While it doesn't exactly match Entune, there are practice challenges using the Entune apps (Bing, OpenTable, MovieTickets, Pandora, set up) that allow you to get the hang of how to do certain tasks using the system.
I have a Android LG 39 C cell phone which will not work in my 2011 RX 350. Why not? Also, my IPAD 2 will not work.
View 8 RepliesI own a fully loaded 2014 Lexus IS350F and noticed the Enform/Radio/Nav has about a 2 minute delay of booting up when the car is first started. I literally can't change the audio source, make a call, etc for nearly 2 minutes. I never experienced this on any other car. My 2007 Acura TLS was instantaneous. What's the deal with Lexus?
Also I noticed the Nav system does voice commands over the radio rather than muting the music. Any way to change that? Some odd choices Lexus made here and I hope I can tweak.
Is there a way to program a 15 is with enform remote start to activate the day time running lights?
And change the settings that require you to restart the car once you get in after remote start ?
Why won't the iPad charge when plugged into the USB port in the center console ? My iPhone charges and auto plays but the iPad will only auto play.
View 7 RepliesIm very happy with the Prius that I have a 2010 V, its loaded with all of the options that were available at the time and I get a true 43 -46 mpg with my driving style and daily commute. The Prius averages more than twice the mileage I was getting with my other cars.
But I stumbled on the Lexus Cth and it seems its a Prius with a Lexus styled body and interior. The Lexus is a more conventional body style and seems to be a little better fit and finish on the interior but at a little less MPG. I tested a 2012 Cth with the F sport package over the weekend nd really liked it.
As other manufacturers match up with the Prius, it is interesting to see how this affects purchasing decisions.
The 2013 Prius Plug-in Advanced lists for $40,320:
It gets 95 MPGe for its 11 miles of battery power and 50 MPG in hybrid mode. The engine has 138 total horsepower = 98 HP Gas + 78 HP Electric engine 0-60 MPH is 10.6 seconds.
The 2013 Lexus ES 300h Hybrid lists for $39,725:
It gets 40 MPG city, 39 MPG highway, 40 MPG combined. The engine has 200 total horsepower = 150 HP Gas + 141 HP Electric engine. 0-60 MPH is 7.6 seconds. Top speed is 112 MPH.
Lexus dealerships will give you a free loaner Lexus while your car is in for maintenance or repair. Lexus mechanics are also sticklers for perfection. (After tune-ups, the car simply feels brand new - owning 5 Lexus cars myself).

View 14 RepliesMy sound in my GS went out today. I can see everything functioning on the head unit but the DSP button has disappeared and my eq only shows bass and treble no mids. Also the grid where you control fade and balance does not show the yellow line. I've been thinking about a full audio swap speakers amp sub so tell me what I'm looking at here.
View 7 RepliesI only found this problem walking through the garage this week and the car fan was blowing. Car hadn't been ran for several days. Started the car and couldn't turn off the blower. Turned off the car, turned it back on and the blower was still on. I was then able to turn it off (and back on and back off). Left it off and turned off the car. Turned it back on and the fan was off. I was able to turn it on and off again. Drove the car a couple of times until yesterday when I noticed the same problem. I guess in disgust I ignored it... until this morning when the car battery was dead.
Going after the fuse link tonight, any other insight into another relay or such that is a simple fix.
I am considering the purchase of a 2008 LS. After conducting research I've noticed that there is a common issue around an odd vibration problem at certain rpm and around control arm bushing's with these cars. I've also noticed that there is a common issue around air suspension issues. I based my conclusion around threads that seem to pop up constantly.
View 10 RepliesBought a new '14 GX a few weeks ago. I noticed the rear is not level. The RR is 1" lower than the LR. This is true with the vehicle running (air suspension charged) or off. When standing behind the vehicle, it is very noticeable.

I have researched everywhere and asked the Dealer and still cannot find out how to turn off the AC and get outside air only when it is cool out.
Even if I turn the air off, if I don't adjust the temperature to match the outside I get either heat or air coming out of the vents. It is very frustrating to be required to adjust the temperature constantly.
I had a cd in the player that will not eject. I put in a 2nd cd to see if that would work, now I have two that will not eject. " Error 3 " flashes. This a 2005 GX 470.

Now I have a question do this mean I have a bad amp or sub or is it like a safety feature on the amp. I need to get around I have a 2007 LS460L with the mark lev system.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2008 ls460 and lately noticed an intermittent remote entry problem. I'll walk up to the car and it will not recognize my key fob, so the door will not open. I've tried all 4 doors and even have held the key fob in my hand while pulling on the door handle. I've replaced the battery and still have the problem. If I manually press the "unlock" button on the remote, the door will unlock. This only happens every so often.
