New prius here. Is there a way to increase the intensity of the illumination in the steering wheel?

Camry :: 2005 - Steering Wheel Shaking At 70mph / Beating Noise On Speed Increase
I'm sensing a light steering wheel shaking when reaching 70mph. Also during the process of increasing the speed from 25-30mph and above I can hear a sort of beating noise which becomes more consistent when increasing the speed. Car goes straight (no left - right wandering). Now I'm assuming it may be something related with the bearings, but I guess the only way to find out is by sending it to a repair shop to understand if the noise come from one or two bearings and from front or the rear bearings?!

Prius V :: Low Beam Don't Provide Outstanding Illumination
My headlights provide outstanding illumination in the Hi Beam mode, but in Lo Beam they just don't provide adequate road lighting. I was wondering if it is possible to adjust them? Also, I noticed my Navigation Map lighting is too bright at night. I checked my settings and they are in the Automatic Mode for lighting. The only way I can get the Navigation Map to dim at night is to put it the Manual Mode. I just went over 5K miles on my Prius V and it's a great car.

The other evening, I noticed the fan speed selector button was no longer illuminated. I am assuming a bulb burned out. Can I get access to this bulb to replace it, and how? I know not to touch that T-shaped dash piece.

Sometimes the volume button on the stereo nor the buttons on the steering button do not increase or decrease the volume. I can turn the stereo on and off - still the same. If I turn the engine off and on - this issue goes away. It's only just started happening in the past few weeks.

About two weeks ago I noticed that my parking brake light was not illuminating when I enagaged the brake. Since then it sometimes comes on when I engage the brake but not always (most of the time it doesn't). I can't replicate the conditions and there doesn't appear to be a pattern of temp or time of day.It is an '04 with 146,000 miles.

I installed a alpine power amp - keeping the factory head unit. It sounds much better but I lost the illumination of the buttons on the head unit. I used the Metra connectors and matching the colors and adding wires to connect with the amplifier. There is 12 volts going to the head unit on the orange and white connector but no illumination of the buttons.

Prius C :: Extension Of The Steering Wheel Is Possible?
Bringing the steering wheel out another inch or two would do wonders. But is there an acceptable path? I know this isn't done casually, because it could interfere with the airbag.
There are two possibilities.
First, some kind of extender that would be inserted behind the steering wheel.
Alternatively, I see an external wheel extension that targets handicapped drivers. See link; this might do the trick and not interfere with the airbag for 14" diameter and an extension of an inch or two.

My car has shaken from the start but I thought it was because it was a small car that was a great price so this is how it ran. Today it started shaking so badly up through the steering wheel that I was afraid to drive it. Still am. I got the tire pressure checked, the wheel balancing checked - all ok. Took it into the dealership (car is still under warrantee) and they think it's likely the drive train/drive shaft.

Trying setting up new controls in the steering wheel of a Prius? I have the "four" package so there's a blank spot on the right side where the radar cruise and lane assist controls would be, and I would kill to have the three driving mode buttons right there for easy switching while driving around town. Just bought a steering wheel cover from Amazon, but the standard size cover turned out to be too large for my C's steering wheel. I've noticed the steering wheel is actually in an oval shape, where the bottom part is flat. I doubt if any steering wheel cover would fit it.

It has been there for about 6 months....i own a 3rd gen and i feel the steering bit heavy (actually not soft) to steer compared to other toyota models...the tire is 215 45 r17...can the steering tightness be adjusted technically at some point....
