View 1 RepliesTPMS light comes on. Properly inflated all four tires, then attempted to reset the TPMS system. The procedure says to hold the button until the light blinks three times. Having done this in the past, I know that the light should stop blinking when the reset button is released. Now, the light continues to blink after releasing the reset button. When in regular drive mode, the button is continuously on.

View 3 RepliesI am just out of the dealer service period (2 years, 25000m). I took my Prius -v (3) 2012 to my mechanic. He did the oil and filter change, but could not reset the Maint Reqd light. It seems it is different from the regular Prius. I looked on the forum, and tried the suggestions, but none worked. It was supposed to be (with odometer showing).
Turn the “POWER” switch to ON mode. The multi-information displays initial screen will be displayed for a few seconds. While the initial screen is being displayed, press the “TRIP” steering switch (→P. 186) 3 times, pressing and holding the switch on the third time. I tried doing this both with my foot on the break and off, but all I got was a reset trip.
Got 14 Prius V back from first maintenance today and noticed the mechanic forgot to reset the light. So I called my advisor and she told me what to do. Here is process for others to share:
1. Set odo/trip to Trip A
2. Turn off vehicle
3. Hold down mi/hr-km/hr button on dash
4. While holding down button, turn on vehicle to ON state (Press Power button TWICE, but DO NOT press brake pedal - you don't want engine to start)
5. Wait while Maint Req light flashes, then goes off completely - about 4 seconds.
6. Turn off vehicle.
How to reset oil change flashing light on 2006 Canadian G11.I tried what is said in the manual, but still flashes for about 12 sec. Apparently it will stay on steady if not reset soon? I go to ignition on only and hold odometer down for 5 sec.. It does not reset.
View 10 RepliesI have a Prius 2007 , my maintenance light turn on , and I changed my oil . After that I reset my mileage as it is written on the manual but still the light is on . Can it cause the dangerous problem to my engine.
View 12 RepliesJust had a flat tire. Was in a construction zone on an interstate so had to drive on the flat for a half a mile to get to a pullover spot. Had tires replaced at a Sears auto (only place open). But now can't reset the light on the dash. One thread said to push the reset button under the steering column while starting the car, but that doesn't work.
View 1 RepliesI have successfully gotten Techstream running properly and just bought a new brake position sensor and will be putting it in which I am hoping will fix the problem with all the lights.
View 19 RepliesI have a 2007 Prius. the ribbon in the clockspring broke. I had to replace it this week and now my airbag light is on.
View 5 RepliesI changed the oil. Then I needed to reset the maintenance light. I followed the owners manual directions, which worked and I saw the 00000000 in the odometer. Now all the warning lights are on and the car won't start. I suspect it's related to the order or timing of pushing the start button but I'm afraid to try too many times. What this is?
View 9 RepliesI have a 2005 Prius. Recently the headlight leveling system finally bit the dust. I will get it replaced sometime soon. Meanwhile, I'd like to reset the emergency light on the dash, the triangle with ! inside. As well, I'd like to remove the icon from the display unit. How I might do this?
View 2 RepliesI have a bad sensor in a tire that just had a flat. I have ordered the sensor for the wheel and I am wondering after I install the sensor in the tire will the 'reader' pick it up and reset itself or do I need to go through the programming of the new sensor? At this time the TPMS warning light comes on and flashes for a minute or so before staying on constantly. This tells me it's trying to read the tire sensors but there is a fault, which is the tire sensor where I just had the flat. Costco tells me that sensor reads 78psi, which is incorrect. The fact that the reader is trying to read all the sensors and getting an error makes me think that it might reset itself when the new sensor transmitter is put in the tire? Any chance of this resetting itself or will I need to reprogram the receiver unit?
View 12 RepliesA few months ago my TPMS light on my 2012 C2 came on. I adjusted tire pressures and it soon went off again. A week ago it came back on. Again I adjusted pressures, but this time the light is staying on. I rechecked the pressures and all looks good. I tried the reset procedure in the manual to no avail. So what now? Just live with the light being on all the time?
View 8 RepliesI changed the oil in my 2012 Prius about 4000 mile ago and reset the "Maintenance Required" light. Today the "Maintenance Required" light came back on. Is there anything else (other than oil change intervals) that turns on the "Maintenance Required" ?
View 8 Repliesn the 2012 Prius how would you reset the low tire warning light once the tires are brought up to proper pressure?
View 8 RepliesI was curious how you can get rid of an annoying "check hybrid system" dash warning?
Let's just say I know for certain nothing is wrong. It's only cause I accidentally disconnected and reconnected a wire. Just need to reset is all.

View 1 RepliesNo luck using the search option. Can I reset (get the faulty wheel onboard light to turn off ) the system myself through the learn sequence? Haven't been able to achieve that result yet.
View 4 RepliesABS and Brake light coming on and staying on with an '04 Camry 4cyl XLE? I've found posts here of it flashing and wheel speed sensor codes etc, but nothing on it staying on and not re-seting.My code reader is not picking up any codes, I tried jumping pins 4 and 13 on the OBD port to read the code that way, and get no flashes from either ABS or Brake light, and tried the 8 pedal press method to reset the lights with no luck.
Before this, I was starting to get a little noise vibration at around 50mph which seemed to be from right front wheel, so on the wild guess that the bearing had gone bad and damaged the wheel speed sensor or tone ring, I pulled the sensor and it physically looked ok, and tested out at ~ 1kOhm.I checked all the fuses for the ABS system and they all tested ok.

ISSUE #1
The airbag light will not go off. I replaced the air bag control module under the shifter console and the front impact sensor near the hood latch. No effect. What is my next step? I was thinking of replacing the steering column sensor/module.
ISSUE #2
Note: I also replace the ECU to no avail. I did this because the check engine light keeps coming on. I clear the code, but "low emission threshhold) code keep returing. Does this mean my catalytic converter is gone, or could it be the O2 sensors?
