I just bought a new 2010 Prius IV and noticed after a good rain that the front left headlight assembly was showing some moisture fogging inside the lens. None of the other light assemblies showed any moisture.

View 5 RepliesI have my 13 GS with the left headlight moisture build up, I should had taken a picture of it before I took it to the dealer, so I dropped it off at Glendale Lexus and they saw it, so now they are telling me because I changed the bumper so the headlight leaked water in it, so to prove them wrong I had pictures taken when the bumper was changed and it was 2 years ago, so I took the pictures to the dealer and showed them when the bumper was changed and also up to date pictures with still no leaks in the headlight, and when you change the bumper cover you do not have to remove the headlights and now they say the car was in a accident, so I told them if it was why is everything original fenders and with Vin numbers on it and why should I bring it to you.
View 6 RepliesI bought some stock headlights that were retrofitted with projectors. The re-seals seem on but after a decent rain the right side light is completely fogged inside. I have taken the back cap off and it will dry out after a day in the sun but should not do this. What's causing this and is it fixable or not??
View 7 RepliesMy front passenger headlight seems to go out after starting and driving for a little. I just replaced the bulbs a few weeks ago and it just happened again. I did notice that the one headlight does flicker after turning on. After looking at the headlight it does appear that some moisture had gotten inside the housing. I don't want to take apart the headlight and reseal it and still have the same problem. Does the ballest need to be replaced also or does something have to be cleaned?
View 1 RepliesI drive two 1999 Caravans, a base model and a Sport. With both I have a persistent problem with moisture in the heating/cooling system. When I turn it on, it smells and feels moist (not like coolant), heat or A/C, summer or winter. I have pressure tested, no leaks. I have replaced heater cores, o ring seals, checked the condensate drains for blockages, replaced the metal tubes that go through the firewall on one car. There is no moisture coming from the outside. The windshield starts fogging at about 34 degrees and gets so bad when it is colder that the defroster full on with the A/C on cannot completely clear the inside glass. Really cold (for us) 20s and the windshield is so fogged that driving is scary. When I drive into a cold spot in winter, sometimes the whole windshield will fog in a few moments-- that's with the defroster on.

Granted there weren't enough grip (sand + LRR overinflated tire) but isn't ESP suppose to take over in situations like this?
Refer the attached picture and its visible, that it has some moisture marks inside the display, its is there for long time more than 1 year, ( only on the left side block of the display). How to get rid of it?

View 19 RepliesI've had an issues with the drivers side light fogging up after damp nights or rain. The dealer replaced it under a TSB but it is still happening I've checked the 3 seals (low beam, high beam, small light on top) and replaced the high beam just to make sure. I'm about to replace the HID in hopes that moisture is getting in through it but for some reason I don't think so. The passenger side is fine and Yaris parked right next to it is fine also so I don't think this is "regular"condensation.
View 1 RepliesThe headlights on my 05 V8 (12K mi) are starting to "fog" up a bit on the inside -- and all within the last 200mi or so. The fog doesn't appear to be the result of condensation inside of the lens. Instead, it almost looks like the glass is now dirty and, I'd guess, about 10% opaque immediately in front of the main projectors on both sides. It shows no signs of going away under any conditions. FWIW, the weather has been steady temperature-wise and has been quite dry for the last few weeks.

When backing from garage, when getting in after sitting in a parking lot, temperature and humidity seem to make it worse, but it happens under all kinds of conditions. My Jetta sits right next to the Tiguan, and it rarely fogs up.
View 12 RepliesI traded in my 2009 Sonata for a 2012 Elantra Ltd recently and I have had an issue with the headlights, Both of them are constantly fogging up on the inside, Anytime there is rain, even light rain the headlights fog up. Especially when I wash the car, I was thinking about taking my car into the dealer and having them repair or provide me with new headlights.
I have read that the headlights are vented on the back but this does not make sense for them to leak like this.
Even with the excellent HVAC system in my Phaeton, the windows will fog up. I know I can press the dedicated Defrost button on the dash that turns the blower fan way up and clears the windows very quickly. But is there any way to set the system to do what many other cars do, i.e., split the air flow between the defrost vents and the lower level (foot) vents?
When I press the button on the infotainment screen to manually direct the air to the upper-most vent, it seems to direct the air not to the defrost vents closest to the windshield, but to the perforated panel on top of the dash. This doesn't keep the windshield from fogging as well as I would like. I am forced occasionally to press the Defrost button to clear it.
The windows in my car, a 1997 Cougar, have recently started fogging up inside. It only started doing this for the past week week and a half. I've checked the carpets and they're all dry. My car is the only one in the parking lot with fogged up windows. What do I do?

And finally. The front jerk when applying brakes. It's not there in the morning, gets worse as you start driving, feels like strut bar bushings, but all of the control arms were changed in February. Having a tech join me for a ride to show this problem to him. I'm staring to think it's either caliper, or brake actuator.
So my front left headlight is dim. from everything i have read online it is most likely a grounding issue.
My problem is trying to locate the issue. Where the front left headlight grounds to and What I need to do to fix it.
This is my first car and my mechanical knowledge is minimal.
For some reason I am getting moisture inside my car. This has started to happen regularly, even when it is not raining. I have checked all of my weather stripping, all windows seal tight, all doors close tight. VW service can't find anything.
