Having some trouble turning on fog lights with main head lights at the same time. Is this possible and how do I do this.

Golf IV R32 :: Both Main Headlights Stopped Working At The Same Time
Both main headlights stopped working at the same time. The low beams work, the high beams work, but nothing from the outer headlights. I swapped out the Euroswitch, with the Oem and still no luck.

Just wondering if it's possible to have the driving lights/fogs to turn on with the headlights when the switch is in AUTO? We prefer to just leave the switch in AUTO mode, but it defeats the purpose of even having the front driving lights as they are never used.

So tonight at 8:30 I started up my car to get ready to leave work. I turned my light switch to activate the headlights and I only saw the amber light on the wall in front of me. I was worried because I need headlights in order to get home. I tried activating the fogs and turning the switch on and off but only my parking lights were working. I turned the car on and off a few times and all of a sudden the headlights finally turned on. I drove around town afterwards to run errands and the headlights were turning on just fine. What would cause this issue and I really don't want it to get to the point where I can't drive my car at night.

Both of my headlights are aimed too low. the left one seems to be even lower than the right. I took it into the dealer & apparently the leveling unit isn't responding & they're going to replace module tomorrow. (part is being rushed in)
Anyhow, i also noticed that prior to this trip to the dealer i had my DRL lights off. Now i guess they turned em back on because they're on all the time now. I don't like that option on, looks like I'm going to have to get my own VAG work done.

I have a customer that brought this in when he was pulled over by the police. The brake lights burn bright when turning on the headlights. When I unplug the the wiring harness at the left rear the right tail lamp lights up as regular tail lights the left turns off. The voltage at harness when tail light on is 10 wher as the voltage when the brake lights are on is 8.65.

I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Edge with the My-Touch control system. I am planning on taking it to music festivals where I "camp" in and around my vehicle. My sister recently bought a 2007 Prius Package 6 with HID's. Her headlights will turn on for about 2-3 minutes then one will go out and then both will go out. If you turn off the headlights and turn them back on then they will both turn on again but only for a few minutes. What this can be? So I have MFD display errors for "main beam not working" on both sides but both of my headlights, lows and highs both work fine. this has been like this for a few months now. I can clear the codes with my VAGCOM and after a day or two they come right back. I've noticed that if I have the dimmer wheel dialed up to maximum brightness before the detente that puts the mfd back to regular daytime brightness (hope this makes sense), in about the next minute and a half after I turn the headlights on, the mfd dims to roughly half the original brightness.

I have a Toyota Tacoma 2006 which lacks all the gadgetry and techno-wizardry of the Prius C model three (which I just purchased). Yet the moment I lock the truck with the key fob, if the headlights were left on they turn off instantly, allowing me to walk away with peace of mind that I won't return to a drained battery. I love this feature on my Tacoma because I can leave my lights on pretty much all the time which allows me to pull out of the lighted parking garage in the evening without driving for multiple city blocks unaware that my lights are off.
My issue: I just bought the Prius C to work more efficiently consume gas during my 60 mile commute, and I'm surprised to discover that the headlights just remain on even when turning off the car and engaging the locks/alarm.
Someone told me that they supposedly go off after 20 minutes but I'm not comfortable walking away from the vehicle and trusting that this will happen.
Is there a way to ensure that the headlights go off when the car is powered off and the locks/security system is activated? If there's a "window" of time that it takes, can this be adjusted?
BTW, averaging over 50 MPG each way to work despite the "47 MPG HWY" EPA estimate...
