I just bought 2012 Prius Model 4 with the solar package and upgraded Nav. Love the car. I have a problem with the contacts in the phonebook. My iPhone has over 2000 contacts from work. Can't and don't want to load them all. I can't figure out how to load or create a contact without using my bluetooth phone.

I just purchased a T-Mobile my touch 4g phone. I set up the bluetooth okay, but am unable to transfer the contacts. I keep getting 'unable to transfer.
I just got the Droid X and it paired easily with my 2010 prius and I can play my music folders over the blue tooth connection in the audio/nav. system. But, it will not transfer my phone contacts.
It will go through the motions like its going to happen and then I see the words attempt failed.
I've seen lots of threads to allow use of the navigation inputs while moving, however I have a 2012 Prius-2 and therefore no navigation. I just want to be able to access my phone contacts and/or use the dialpad while I'm driving.
View 8 RepliesSo my 2012 camry with the touchscreen head unit connects to my phone just fine. It streams my music just fine as well. I however hate my phone calls, texts, etc coming through the car. After my phone connects to the car, I can go to the bluetooth menu and tell it to disconnect for phone and that takes care of it for that drive. But every time I get in the car I have to break that connection.
View 3 RepliesI have a 2016 XLE with the head unit that has nav but is not the premium JBL. My wife and I both use our phones in the car. We both have Samsung Galaxy S5 phones. I have the Entune app on my phone. My phone sounds great when I use the hands free talking. When my wife calls me from the car her phone sounds horrible. Two identical phones and one sounds great and the other horrible. Is there a fix for this problem?
View 9 RepliesI bought brand new 2013 Camry SE yesterday night..it has been just 15 hours since I bought it..today morning when I tried to pair my phone with car multimedia system...it showed the screen that it is connecting and the little circle on the top right was moving in circle as if it was trying to connect and all of a sudden it just got hang up...right there....its not going any where...now.
Is there a way to reboot this multimedia system (just like you can reboot computer or phone)..??
I tried turning car on-off...tried setup -default on bluetooth settings etc...but no luck.
I had to replace my 12 volt battery a few weeks ago. I'm also having issues with my samsung galaxy s4. For the last 2 to 3 weeks the phone in the car won't connect and the bluetooth is not working. Is it the car or is it the phone? If I uninstall the phone and reinstall it does connect but there's no guarantee that it will the next time.

View 2 RepliesI just got my prius last week! so cute and shiny and new... but...on day 1, I paired my phone (droid razr maxx hd) to the car and talked for about 5 min without issue.
the next day, this behavior started... I turn on my car, after about 30-60s, the phone and car pair. If I make a phone call right away, the car Bluetooth will turn off after 30s. If I don't make a call right away, after several minutes, the Bluetooth will once again shut down. The only way to turn it back on is to turn off and restart the car. (My phone pairs just fine with my 2007 prius)
I read online that the current razr operating system has issues... but never heard of this. The dealership is confused by the issue. Wondering if any of you experienced this and had the issue resolved?
We have a 2010 IV and a 2012 pip. My Android phone will pair and connect with the 2010. It pairs with the 2012, but the 2012 will then say "Connect Failed" when my phone is selected. My wife has an iPhone which pairs and connects to both cars. My phone uses Bluetooth 4.0 profiles. And after pairing I've limited it to telephone audio only. I've deleted and repaired countless times with the same result.

View 14 RepliesI have had a 2011 Camry XLE with Nav for about 6 months now. I have a small issue, however. I manually enter about 3 or 4 phone contacts into the system (I have no desire to copy all my contacts from my phone). After a few days the contacts will be gone. My wife and I both have iPhone 5's and they are both registered to the car. I don't know if this is an issue with a phone becoming "unconnected" and then "reconnected" or not.
View 1 RepliesI've had my new 2013 Model 3 for a whole week now and I love everything about it except for one thing: The Bluetooth will connect to my phone (Galaxy S3) and will play music from it, but it ignores the fact that all of the songs are in different folders. It treats all the music as if it is in a single folder and will let me move back and forth alphabetically or randomly, but I can't play a particular album. There should be controls at the bottom of the touch screen but they are grayed out and inaccessible.

I just bought my first Lexus. It is a 2009 ES350 with navigation. I can use the hands free with no problem and even picks up SIRI but when I tried transferring my contacts from my iphone4s to the phone book it loses connection every time. Same thing when I try to stream music.
